Gaza – The Gates of HellLast Saturday millions across the world, including here in Belfast, participated in one of the biggest ever solidarity events as part of a Global Day of Action in support of the Palestinian people. At the same time dozens of boats, and hundreds of human rights activists, are taking part in the largest civilian freedom flotilla. Among them are three senior Sinn Féin representatives; Lynn Boylan MEP, Seanadoir Chris Andrews and Shónagh Ní Raghallaigh TD. They are all on their way to the Gaza Strip in a courageous effort to break Israel's illegal blockade. Their aim is to deliver much needed food and medicine to the people of that besieged territory.Next month will mark two years since the commencement of the Israeli genocide assault against the Palestinian people, following the Hamas attack on 7 October 2023. The statistics of death and destruction are horrendous. To date almost 65,000 Palestinians have been confirmed as killed with many thousands more buried under the rubble of Gaza.  Almost 20,000 children have been murdered and tens of thousands have suffered serious injuries, many of them life changing.UNICEF has described the situation in Gaza City as catastrophic with starvation now an integral part of Israel's genocidal war against civilians. Eight Palestinian children die every day from starvation. The Israeli forces kill 28 children every day. Over 350 children are daily being admitted to the limited U.N. facilities still operating within the Gaza Strip, suffering from acute malnutrition. It is a drama based on true events – the killing by Israel of a five-year-old Palestinian child, Hind Rajab, in Gaza in January 2024.Hind was in a car with her Aunt and Uncle and four cousins trying to flee Israeli forces. Their car was struck by a shell and the adults and three children were killed. An Israeli tank fired consistently into the trapped vehicle. The fourth cousin was later killed. Hind was alone, surrounded by the bodies of her relatives. She spent hours on a mobile phone with the Palestine Red Crescent Society. She was terrified. She pleaded for help. “Come take me. You will come and take me? … I'm so scared, please come. Please call someone to come and take me.” Desperately the Red Crescent sought clearance from the Israeli Army to send an ambulance. He also reacts to the news of Tank Bigsby being traded to Philadelphia and what this does for the Eagles and Jaguars backfields. Mans also has some early-season advice for those that are playing in the Guillotine format, especially the first-timers out there, of which there are many. Jeff also presses the “rewind” button to week two of 2024 and recounts the top scorers, waiver pickups, and how they finished the season from then on. As always, he has his top 10 week two waiver wire pickups and a few buy-low players going forward. Jeff also digs into the snap counts for each team's running backs and gives his thoughts on which RBs are trending up and down as a result. Kurš ātrāk pieveiks bez kļūdām, tas arī uzvar. Šajā veiklības sporta veidā notiek gan vietējās, gan starptautiskas sacensības, ir cilvēki, kuri vienkārši nāk treniņā un nekad nepiedalās sacensībās, vienkārši suņa veselībai, savai veselībai, jo cilvēkam tur arī ir diezgan daudz jāpaskrien. Adžiliti uzlabo cilvēka un suņa savstarpējo kontaktu, jo suns skrien bez pavadas, bez siksnas lielā ātrumā un klausās. "Suņiem patīk skriet. Sākumā var motivēt ar kārumiņu vai mantiņu, kas nu kuram patīk. Pēc tam viņam vienkārši patīk pats process, patīk skriet, patīk piedalīties, kopā ar savu saimnieku kaut ko padarīt. "Mans stāsts, kāpēc es atnācu adžilti, ir saistīts ar to, ka tad, kad tu lasi aprakstu par šķirnes izvēli, tev liekas - man būs visgudrākais suns pasaulē. Tad tu saskaries ar to, ka visgudrākajam sunim pasaulē ir vajadzīga mentāla slodze. Tie, kuri paņem aktīvas suņu šķirnes, kuras ir ar augstu IQ, rēķinieties, ka jums būs jādod mentālā slodze," pieredzē dalās Natālija Sokolova. "Manā gadījumā viss tik perfekti salikās, ka nāca adžilti, bet es sapratu to, ka ir jāiemāca arī paklausības pamati. Jo adžiliti ir par ļoti ciešu kontakta izveidi starp saimnieku un suni, bet bez kaut kādiem pamatiem, ka sunim ir, piemēram, jāpaliek startā, tu nevari to visu izveikt."

It's time to put away the toys and hobbies and get down to business as Jeff Mans reveals his blueprint to winning our fantasy football leagues in 2025. His draft plan or “MANSifesto” is live in print form over on Fantasy Guru dot com, but Jeff provides an audio version here that covers the round-by-round selections. In each round, Mans provides the best values, biggest risks, draft pockets, best upside, and a player he is avoiding. Along the way, he drafts two teams. One that he calls the “perfect draft,” in which, if everything falls perfectly, that is the optimal team.
