Double P Media (@DoublePHQ) gang of Bubba & Catfish host a panel at Con of Thrones 2019 in Nashville, TN on Saturday, June 13th.Panel description:When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die. With the series complete, panelists and audience members critique the losers' poor strategy and debate what moves they could've done to win: Could Cersei have won if she'd seduced Robin Arryn to secure the Knights of the Vale? Had Dany considered that an alliance through marriage to Illyrio Malpatisi might have put her upon the Iron Throne? If the Night King had just bent the knee to Sansa, would she have spared him? (NOTE: These will be updated after the actual facts based on season 8) A fun, light-hearted panel with audience participation.https://twitter.com/doublephq/https://www.facebook.com/doublephqhttps://www.instagram.com/doublephq/
This Wednesday, Aleah and Brittany will continue discussing accountability, toxic “situationships,” perseverance, and making space for newness. Now that most of us have had time to digest the Game of Thrones series finale, we’ll unpack our feelings in this episode as well. (We see you Robin Arryn! Really Arya?) Want to hear about a specific … Continue reading Still Loading… Part 2
Game of Thrones' series finale, "The Iron Throne," felt like two episodes wrapped in one. Maybe even two TV shows wrapped in one. There was the somber, sobering examination of absolute power corrupting absolutely, and there was the saccharine sweet series of farewells to our favorite characters that prevent a civil war. But in the end, we got some answers a decade in the making. Who would sit on the throne? Would there be a throne? What would Arya do when the killing was over? Could anyone defeat a queen with Unsullied, Dothraki, and a dragon at her disposal? Where the hell is Yara? And did Robin Arryn die? Have a quick listen to the Instacast, recorded immediately after the series finale punched in the gut while trying to tickle our funny bones. You're a weird one, Episode 6. In EPISODE 5, our heroes pontificate about the nature of more streamlined episodes juggling such an epic cast, while discussing the boy Robin Arryn and his strange eating habits. We compare winters in Michigan to winters Beyond the Wall, and investigate Rick's own foray into WOULD YOU RATHER. Covering Game of Thrones Season 1 Episode 5 - S01E05
The overall quality of season 6 tilts upward in this pair of episodes from GoT rookie Daniel Sackheim. Or perhaps the show has just resettled into a new normal. Either way, Our Heroes are reborn in these two episodes, signaling the start of the endgame. Arya gets a training montage, Bran's training is slow going, and Robin Arryn's training is halted when Littlefinger shows up with a cool bird. There's honestly too many character check-ins to rattle them off here, so listen in and grab those frequent flier miles*. *Frequent flier miles good for all Westerosi destinations except Dorne. Don't go to Dorne.
See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Daenarys takes some steps towards freedom from the Dothraki but will Little Finger help at all with that? Find out in this week's recap of Game of Thrones!
