The blizzard rages on, making the living conditions increasingly intolerable. Ropes are strung between the buildings to prevent people from getting lost. Men start turning up dead. The first couple are explained away as accidents, but the third is clearly murder. Furthermore, the newly constructed stable collapses. The great hall, already redolent of men and dogs, is now used to house the displaced horses. Another of Abel's women tries to befriend Theon, but he still senses a Ramsay trap and avoids her. He's dragged before Lord Roose Bolton, as he's one of the few people who wanders the whole castle, and therefore has the opportunity (and let's be honest, the motive) to sabotage the Bolton cause. His demeanor and physical decrepitude end any suspicion. A warhorn appears to herald Stannis' arrival and cause panic within the Walls. Theon, knowing that for him Stannis does not represent salvation, goes to pray in the godswood. There he is again haunted by his crimes, hearing his name and seeing Bran's face in the heart tree. Abel's women again accost him. "Sprawa musi być poważna. Jak wiemy, mamy weto prezydenta, bardzo zaskakujące" - powiedział w Porannej rozmowie w RMF FM Radosław Sikorski, mając na myśli temat dzisiejszych tajnych obrad w Sejmie. Tomasz Terlikowski zapytał, czy chodzi, jak sugerował marszałek Sejmu Krzysztof Bosak, o kryptowaluty. "Tak mi podpowiada kobieca intuicja, ale nie mam wiedzy na ten temat" - powiedział wicepremier, minister spraw zagranicznych z Koalicji Obywatelskiej. "Wiem, że firmy w tej branży sponsorują polityków prawej strony sceny politycznej, więc oni mają powody do nerwowej reakcji. Zdaje się, że to nie jest tajemnicą, że konferencja w Rzeszowie (Karola Nawrockiego - przyp. red.) była przez ten przemysł finansowana" - dodał.

Prezydent Karol Nawrocki zawetował ustawę dotyczącą rynku kryptoaktywów. Kancelaria prezydenta uzasadniała, że projekt dopuszczał możliwość blokowania stron internetowych firm kryptowalutowych „jednym kliknięciem”, przy nieprecyzyjnych zasadach, które mogłyby prowadzić do nadużyć.Kancelaria zwróciła również uwagę na brak przejrzystości części rozwiązań oraz wysokość opłat nadzorczych, które – w ocenie prezydenta – mogłyby utrudnić funkcjonowanie małym firmom i startupom, jednocześnie wzmacniając pozycję zagranicznych instytucji finansowych.Decyzję głowy państwa krytykował wicepremier Krzysztof Gawkowski, który przekonywał, że polski rynek jest „nieuregulowany”, a aż „około 600 tysięcy osób zostało oszukanych na kryptowalutach”.Zdaniem Sławomira Zawadzkiego, dyrektora generalnego firmy Kanga Exchange, ta narracja opiera się na błędnych założeniach.Ta liczba nie pochodzi z żadnej analizy strat. To deklaracje z anonimowej ankiety internetowej. Nie wiemy, kim były te osoby ani czego dotyczyły te zgłoszenia. To były badania, w których – mówiąc zupełnie wprost – ktoś wchodził na stronę i zaznaczał odpowiedź. Nie wiemy, na czym polegało "oszustwo na kryptowaluty", bo w raporcie tego w ogóle nie zdefiniowano. To mogą być przypadki, w których w ogóle nie doszło do zakupu kryptowalut, tylko ktoś został zmanipulowany, żeby przelać pieniądze na fałszywy numer konta– mówił w Poranku Radia Wnet.Ktoś dzwoni, pisze na komunikatorze, proponuje inwestycję. Pieniądze znikają, zanim ktokolwiek kupi choćby jedną kryptowalutę. To nie są oszustwa kryptowalutowe – to oszustwa wykorzystujące słowo krypto jako przynętę– wyjaśniał.Zawadzki dodaje, że Polska była kiedyś jednym z liderów światowych adopcji kryptowalut, lecz dziś znajduje się „na szarym końcu”, m.in. z powodu wieloletniego ostracyzmu instytucjonalnego.Kontrowersyjny projekt ustawy: 100 stron regulacji i ogromna władza dla KNFNajwiększe zastrzeżenia branży budził sam kształt ustawy. Mimo że rozporządzenie w sprawie rynku kryptoaktywów w Unii Europejskiej (MiCA) jest rozporządzeniem stosowanym bezpośrednio, polski projekt liczył ponad 100 stron, podczas gdy inne kraje wdrażały go w zaledwie kilku stronach przepisów.To była ustawa przeregulowana. A najgorsze było to, że tak ogromną władzę nad rynkiem miał dostać KNF – urząd, który przez lata blokował rozwój branży krypto– dodał.Zawadzki wymienia najpoważniejsze zagrożenia: KNF miał decydować, kto może działać na rynku i kto może zasiadać w zarządach firm; miał uzyskać możliwość blokowania stron internetowych jednym kliknięciem, bez procesu i bez prawa odwołania; ;ista ostrzeżeń KNF, na którą już dziś można trafić bez powiadomienia, stałaby się narzędziem jeszcze bardziej opresyjnym.To tak, jakby ktoś z lewicy układał program religii w szkole – absurd. Instytucja, która była przeciwko branży, miała nagle decydować o jej życiu i śmierci– komentuje.Branża alarmowała, że taka implementacja MiCA nie poprawi bezpieczeństwa, a jedynie zwiększy uznaniową kontrolę państwa nad innowacyjnym sektorem.Czy kryptowaluty finansują działania Rosji? „Pokażcie transakcje”Premier Tusk stwierdził, że Rosja „prawdopodobnie używa kryptowalut do finansowania ataków i sabotażu”. Zawadzki podważa ten argument.Kryptowaluty są śledzalne. Każdy przepływ jest publiczny. Jeśli służby mają dowody – niech pokażą konkretne transakcje– stwierdził.Podkreśla, że nawet najbardziej surowa ustawa nie zablokuje nielegalnych transferów, bo odbywają się one poza giełdami i oficjalnymi platformami.Nielegalne operacje zawsze omijają system. To tak, jakby twierdzić, że gotówka znika, gdy zakażemy banknotów– mówi.Według Zawadzkiego nie ma większości w Sejmie, która mogłaby odrzucić weto prezydenta Nawrockiego.Branża przygotowuje natomiast własną wersję ustawy – bardziej przejrzystą, zgodną z MiCA i pozbawioną mechanizmów blokowania firm jednym ruchem urzędnika. Zawadzki ostrzega też przed paradoksalnym scenariuszem:Jeśli do czerwca Polska nie uchwali ustawy, zagraniczne firmy z licencjami z innych krajów będą mogły działać u nas, a polskie – nie. I jednocześnie nie będzie kar za działanie bez licencji. To absurd– stwierdza.

Zakaz hodowli futerkowej to niekonstytucyjna aberracja i uleganie szantażowi UE – mówi w Radiu Wnet Krzysztof Bosak, ostrzegając, że na futerkach się nie skończy.Zakaz hodowli zwierząt na futra, podpisany przez prezydenta Karola Nawrockiego, to – zdaniem Krzysztofa Bosaka – „głęboka aberracja” i przykład niszczenia dochodowej gałęzi gospodarki pod presją unijną i lobbingu organizacji antyhodowlanych. Wicemarszałek Sejmu ostrzega, że na futerkach się nie skończy – następne będą drób, bydło i trzoda.

When he gets there, the lights go out, someone yells, and Jackson rushes upstairs to find the violin guy on the ground — and a hooded figure running off with the violin. Jackson tells the hotel employee to call the police, which naturally means Inspector O'Reilly.Gethsemane goes to check on her brother, and Eamon shows up saying he might be able to help. He takes her to talk to the ghost of the dead guy. He says the violin guy's name was Ray — paid cash up front but seemed off the whole time. He asks Gethsemane to get a message to his daughter, and she agrees.Inspector O'Reilly checks the security footage, and the hooded figure appears to be a woman.That same hooded figure later runs out of the dead guy's boat when Gethsemane goes to check it out.Naturally, Gethsemane is now on the case — with Eamon's help, of course. There are sketchy art dealers, teachers, and bears, oh my! (Okay, no bears. I lied.)Gethsemane and Griff grow closer and even almost kiss! Her brother figures out she has powers — and he's totally cool with it.Turns out Ray was originally going to sell the violin to a music store owner but backed out for a higher bidder. The word brandish is often paired with a word for a weapon, such as knife or handgun. The link between brandish and weaponry is present in the word's etymology: brandish comes ultimately from a Germanic word meaning “sword.” Since the word's 14th century introduction to the English language (by way of Anglo-French) weapons have commonly been the things brandished, but also extensive is the use of brandish with things that are wielded to defeat in other ways, such as banners and placards used in the war of ideas. One can even brandish something that isn't physical, such as a law or one's intellect. In that case, you are figuratively waving the thing in someone's face so that it cannot be ignored.

Bran successfully wargs into a relatively willing raven and enjoys the experience of flying. He's also introduced to the skill of greenseeing. The immortal weirwoods have no conception of time, and so by becoming one with them Bran can see events that are remote in both distance and time. His first forays take him to the Winterfell godswood where he sees his relatives, and then in a cinematic montage a collection of his ancestors.
