Send us a textTyrion gets to know his new traveling companions, and, by dint of his cyvasse skills, some secrets about their mission. Mackelly and Simon consider their opening gambit.Chapter Review:Tyrion Lannister wakes early on the Shy Maid. He watches with undisguised interest as Septa Lemore bathes in the river. She shows signs of having given birth at some prior point, but remains an attractive woman. Ysilla makes breakfast and keeps all at bay, with the exception of Young Griff whom she plies with more than he needs.Duck spars with Young Griff, Haldon teaches him languages, geography, geometry, and history. It seems that Tyrion will contribute to this expansive education: he's been tasked with writing down all he can recall about raising and breeding dragons. Haldon offers Tyrion a game of cyvasse while Young Griff studies further with Septa Lemore. Haldon has beaten Tyrion every previous game, so he eagerly accepts Tyrion's wager that the loser must share some secrets. Tyrion hustles to victory and when a giant turtle, known as the Old Man of the River, bellows close by, Tyrion thinks that wonders often herald the arrival of kings.Characters/Places/Names/Events:Tyrion Lannister - Youngest son of Tywin Lannister whom he recently murdered. Simon and Mackelly admire the plumage.Chapter Review:Bran Stark and his companions have reached the foot of a hill that contains their final destination. A warded cave halfway the side of the mountain. But Coldhands and other sensitives know that they are under attack from the undead. The entire group is exhausted and hungry. Meera is supporting Jojen, almost as much as Hodor is Bran.Sixty yards from the opening Hodor's leg is grabbed from below them. Wights emerge from beneath the snow. As wights surround them, Summer kills as many as he can, but Bran sees that it will be hopeless. In desperation, Bran takes control of Hodor and the combination of castle-forged steel, 7ft of bemuscled automaton, and Bran's laser-focus on staying alive alleviates the immediate danger. But the day is only won because a Child of the Forest intervenes to set the wights aflame. Almost 6 years after its last Episode, Game of Thrones' Final Season remains one of the most controversial and divisive seasons in TV history. But Dave has never watched the final season...until now. In this limited run, seven-part, special series, Dave, PC Tunney, and DJ revisit the final season one Episode at a time (Dave for the first time) and answer the enduring question….was it as bad as so many claimed? In Part 2, before jumping into Episode 1 of Season 8, the guys discuss something taken straight from the page of Game of Thrones and made very real: the return of dire wolves. Science has brought a species back from extinction, and it just so happens to be one of the most enduring animals in the Game of Thrones series. The guys explore the pros and cons of this fantastic development and speculate what science might be trying to resurrect next. Then, we get into it. Winterfell, the first Episode of Season 8, had all sorts of things going on. Much of it centered on Jon Snow, who rides a dragon and discovers he is the true heir to the Iron Throne. Euron finally got what he really wanted. Theon's path to redemption seems in full swing, the Night King leaves a disturbing message, and, as Jamie Lannister arrives in Winterfell, he comes face to face with Bran Stark in an uncomfortably awkward moment. Did the guys have any issues with this first Episode? Join us as and find out whether we think Game of Thrones has gone off the rails yet.About the Chairshot Radio NetworkLaunched in 2017, the Chairshot Radio Network presents you with the best in sports, entertainment, and sports entertainment. Send us a textTyrion meets Griff and young Griff. He has suspicions about who Griff might be, but Griff is plenty suspicious of Tyrion in return. Mackelly and Simon ponder the possibilities. Chapter ReviewTyrion is passed from Illyrio to Haldon the Half-Maester and Ser Rolly “Duck” Duckworth, along with letters, chests, and candy for young Griff. As they depart Tyrion sees Mopatis looking forlorn. Duck provides his life story, including being dubbed by Griff watched by Ducks, confirming his nickname. When they reach the Little Rhoyne at the ruined city of Ghoyan Drohe, they rendezvous with the riverboat, the Shy Maid. They are welcomed by Young Griff who dyes his hair blue in the Tyroshi fashion - after his mother - but Tyrion thinks that it won't fly in Westeros. Griff the elder is far from pleased to welcome Tyrion. A letter from Mopatis explains what is going on, but doesn't change his mood. He thinks Danaerys would be well advised to reject a kin and kingslayer from her service. But Tyrion catches him in several lies and suspects who Griff might truly be.Characters/Places/Names/Events:Tyrion Lannister - Youngest son of Tywin Lannister whom he recently murdered. Send us a textTyrion and Illyrio Mopatis are trapped in a closed palanquin, hidden from the world, with just each other's voices for company. Mackelly and Simon try to imagine what that must be like.Chapter Review:Tyrion Lannister and Illyrio Mopatis leave Pentos in a closed palanquin. Nobody can know of Tyrion's presence or destination. He thinks that between the sailors and Mopatis' servants the word is already out. But his host is confident of their discretion. Tyrion is doubtful. Tyrion tries to unearth Mopatis' true motivations in helping Daenerys Targaryen regain the Iron Throne. The Pentosi claims that he just wants to help the young girl he fell in love with, that he was promised a Westerosi lordship and the role of Master of Coin. None of that convinces Tyrion. They're headed east toward the Rhoyne, where Tyrion will go south by river to Volantis. There Mopatis expects he'll rendezvous with Daenerys and her growing army. Tyrion will be accompanied by a sell-sword named Griff - who (again) Mopatis places an amazing amount of faith in.Characters/Places/Names/Events:Tyrion Lannister - Youngest son of Tywin Lannister whom he recently murdered. Coldhands keeps his face obscured, but there's no hiding the coldness of the hands, nor the fact that his breath doesn't frost before him like the others. As Summer, Bran also notices that their guide smells dead. The former brother of the Night's Watch has ravens who report that they're being followed. He leaves the party to deal with the pursuit while the remainder seek an abandoned village in which to rest. Bran wargs into Summer and finds wolves fighting over dead humans. This is Varmyr's little pack, who quickly bend the knee to Summer and allow him the lion's share of the meat. Bran comes back into himself.Coldhands has dealt with the danger, and has slaughtered a pig for them to eat. As they eat they ask the man questions. He doesn't know where he's headed - his escape was orchestrated by Lord Varys, with no input from Tyrion. Eventually he's disembarked hidden in a wine barrel. Tyrion explores the grounds of the manse - but he's not to leave.Over dinner Tyrion, increasingly drunk, shares his ideas to raise Myrcella's banners. When she finally rouses with the fever broken, Thoros of Myr explains a few things: Lem should have been protecting the inn, she's got terrible facial wounds from Biter, and she's here to answer to Lady Stoneheart, the Brotherhood's new leader, for her crimes. The lion-pommeled sword and the letter signed by Tommen do her no favors. She's taken to Lady Stoneheart, who is mostly silent allowing Lem and others to hector Brienne with accusations. She contends that both girls were gone, that Jaime gave her the sword and the letter to allow her to rescue Sansa - but it falls on deaf ears. Simon and Mackelly consider the intestinal fortitude of the tormented Lord of Riverrun.Chapter Review:Jaime parlays with Brynden Blackfish Tully. He makes zero progress. The older man is resigned to Edmure's death, accuses Jaime of oathbreaking and cowardice, and won't believe Jaime's offer of pardons for all within.Jaime calls a war council that is closer to a war. All parties bring their high-horses and nobody budges an inch. The enmity within the besiegers camp is greater than that between the besiegers and the besieged. He gives up, dismisses Ryman Frey back to the Twins for his incompetence and elevates Ryman's son Edwyn to head the Frey contingent. He frees Edmure from his torment and brings him back to be bathed and fed. The kindness comes with an offer and a threat. Edmure will be returned to Riverrun. If he then surrenders the castle the original offer remains - all will be spared. But if he doesn't, everyone inside will die and Edmure's soon-to-be-born baby will be trebucheted over the walls. Marketing is a game. It has its own players, rules and rewards. And the stakes are high. So we're here to help you win the battle for the Iron Throne. In this episode, we're bingeing the epic HBO drama Game of Thrones to see what it can teach us about playing the game of marketing. Here to help us is Datadog CMO Alex Rosemblat. And together, we're exploring how to win the battle by keeping your oath, using the rules of the game to your advantage, and putting your dragons to good use. So don your furs and prepare for battle as we charge into this episode of Remarkable.About our guest, Alex RosemblatAlex Rosemblat is Chief Marketing Officer at Datadog. Prior to his current role, Alex served as the Product Marketer for Dell's Cloud and Virtualization product family (via the acquisition of VKernel), bringing virtualization management and cloud monitoring software products to market. Alex has 15 years of experience with enterprise software and related technologies through product management, IT consulting, and pre-sales engineering with Symantec (via the acquisition of SwapDrive) and Epic Systems Corporation. He has spent the last 8+ years at DataDog, and helped lead the company to its successful IPO in 2019.About DatadogDatadog is a SaaS-based monitoring and analytics platform for large-scale applications and infrastructure. Combining real-time metrics from servers, containers, databases, and applications with end-to-end tracing, Datadog delivers actionable alerts and powerful visualizations to provide full-stack observability.About Game of ThronesGame of Thrones is a massively successful epic fantasy series with an impassioned following. It's about a civil war among noble families who are fighting for control over the iron throne that rules the lands of Westeros. Meanwhile an ancient enemy - the Night King - returns after being dormant for thousands of years. There are three major plot lines: the first is about the fight for the iron throne among the families. The second is about the rightful heir coming back to claim the throne. And the third is about the incoming winter, as seasons don't have a worldly timeline, and so the summer has lasted something like a decade. The winter also implies hard times and the threat from the North, where the wildlings and Night King live. It's based on the book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin published in 1996. The series was created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss for HBO. And it has a massive ensemble cast of over 500 characters. The show stars Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen, Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Kit Harington as Jon Snow, Maisie Williams as Arya Stark, and more. It premiered in 2011 with eight seasons that wrapped up in 2019. That year, it was HBO's most watched show and the most watched scripted show on TV, period. It had a total show budget of $1.5 Billion, and has earned $3.1 Billion through HBO subscriptions alone as of May 2019. It was filmed in the United Kingdom, Canada, Croatia, Iceland, Malta, Morocco, and Spain. What B2B Companies Can Learn From Game of Thrones: Keep your oath. And only market what you can deliver. It's when you live up to your oath that you build trust and earn brand loyalty. Ian says, “If you say you're going to do something in your marketing, you better be damn sure that sales can deliver on that, that your product can deliver on it, and that customer success is going to be there if you fall short of that. Because so often we get out way over our skis. We're pitching a product that doesn't exist yet. And that's going to make people way madder than if you just didn't promise it in the first place.” So don't break your oath like Jamie Lannister did when he killed the king. Ian says, “That follows him forever.” So keep your brand promise - or your “oath” - and deliver on what you market.Play the marketing game. Be strategic in your marketing tactics. Experiment and use what works. And don't overthink it. Small, steady successes are how you win the game. Alex says, “In demand gen sometimes you set up ads that are kind of gimmicky, and it'd be nice to do something a little bit more cerebral. But hey, you know, people like the jingle or, you know, whatever it is. And I think that there's a fair amount of pragmatism If you stick to that and you don't have this big ideology or this grand picture that you're trying to fill the pieces on. You just keep on stringing together successes of what works even if they're very moderate and small scale. Everything is a stepwise function, and you build your way up pretty high, just like Bronn does in the show.”If you have dragons, use them. Don't chain them up. Alex says that especially if you're a startup, you need all the help you can get getting your brand off the ground. He says, “If you have any kind of secret weapon, you better use it. And you're probably going to want to use it pretty early on. You're not going to want to sit on it.” So call up your old classmates who are well connected. Leverage the talents and skills of your employees to make something great. For Alex, he said his secret weapon was that “I understood the persona we were selling to super well. And everything that went out the door was uniquely tailored to what a technical person would react well to. And the stats at the other end just kind of pop off the charts.”Quotes*”Being good at growth marketing is being scrappy. Trying things out, not being afraid to lean into something even if it is a little bit hacky if it works. Never overstepping your bounds, and understanding that the world works a certain way.” - Alex RosemblatTime Stamps[0:55] Meet Alex Rosemblat, CMO at Datadog[2:32] What is Datadog? Jaime reminisces about the bygone glory days of the Kingsguard. He turns his attention to righting the wrongs of the current White Swords. He goes man-by-man through his sworn brothers, calling them out on the issues he has with them. Lastly, he has a heart-to-heart with Loras about his claim that Brienne killed Renly. Jenny and Mackelly applaud Jaime's closing arguments.Chapter Review:Jaime Lannister reads through the White Book, the written history of the Kingsguard, while waiting for his sworn brothers to join. When his brothers arrive, Jaime admonishes them for allowing the king to die under their watch. He then gauges their opinions on Tyrion's involvement in the death. He goes through each man and calls them out on issues. Ser Boros Blount will now be King Tommen's taste tester, as he's unfit to protect the boy he gave up so easily. He then questions why he's never heard of Ser Osmund Kettleblack before. After that, he asks Ser Meryn Trant to show him where in their vows it says to beat women and children, like he did to Sansa Stark. He praises Balon Swann's character but questions how he'd handle his family challenging Tommen's rule. Finally, he turns his attention to Ser Loras Tyrell,  who reminds Jaime of himself at that age. Jaime makes a case for Brienne's possible innocence in the murder of Renly Baratheon. His argument is enough to seed doubt in Loras' mind. Jaime tasks Loras with talking with Brienne and deciding her innocence or guilt. Whatever Loras determines is the case, Jaime will abide by it.Characters/Places/Names/Events:Jaime Lannister - Member of the Kingsguard. Tyrion stands trial for the murder of the king. The prosecution has no end of witnesses, while Tyrion has none. But at the 11th hour a glimmer of hope appears. Mackelly and Simon weigh the scales of justice.Chapter Review:Tyrion Lannister languishes for days in a Red Keep tower cell. He's well-treated and fed as befits his station, but the crime of which he's accused holds only one possible punishment. He's getting advice and daily visits from his uncle Kevan, but neither of them is very optimistic of his chances. Cersei is amassing a deluge of witnesses to testify against him. Tyrion pins his hopes on trial by combat, but knowing that the opponent will be Gregor Clegane, Bronn demurs. The trial, before a three-judge panel of Tywin, Mace Tyrell, and Oberyn Martell, goes very badly for Tyrion. The witnesses either exaggerate, downright lie, or in the case of Varys: accurately report Tyrion's various threats and comments on the dead king. Kevan advises confession and the Night's Watch, but Tyrion doesn't trust his father's mercy. On the final night of the trial, Tyrion is visited in his cell by Oberyn. He's not necessarily there to reassure Tyrion, but knowing that he's doomed he's hoping to get the truth about his sister's death. Tyrion confirms some suspicions: while it was the now dead Lorch who dispatched Princess Rhaenys, it was The Mountain who raped and murdered Elia and killed baby Aegon. But Tyrion denies that Tywin ordered the deaths. Oberyn throws Tyrion a lifeline. He'll be his champion in trial by combat against Clegane.Characters/Places/Names/Events:Tyrion Lannister - Youngest son of Tywin Lannister. Brother to queen Cersei and Jamie Lannister. Jaime and Brienne arrive in King's Landing. They've learned that bad news awaits them. Brienne is immediately imprisoned, while Jaime gets into it with his father and his sister. Simon and Mackelly hope for a bit more love and a lot less, respectively.Chapter Review:Jaime Lannister arrives in King's Landing with Brienne, Qyburn, and Roose Bolton's men. It's not changed that much, still stinks. They've learned en-route of the deaths at the weddings (the red and the purple). Jaime is struggling to find the correct emotion. He cares more about how Cersei is feeling and feeling sorry for himself about his hand.Upon arrival, they meet Ser Loras Tyrell, who denounces Brienne as a kingslayer - of Renly that is. Jaime arranges for Brienne to be imprisoned (temporarily, for her own good). Jaime visits the sept, where Joffrey lies in state. He finds his twin mourning over their dead child. She affirms that it was Tyrion who killed Joffrey. They have sex there and then. Jaime wants to be open about their relationship, but Cersei roughly disabuses him of that idea.Jaime visits his father, who reports that Vargo Hoat is getting his comeuppance from Gregor Clegane, who has retaken Harrenhal. Jaime is to leave the Kingsguard, marry Margaery Tyrell (Cersei will marry Oberyn Martell) and take King Tommen to Casterly Rock to be raised away from his mother. Jaime flat out refuses. When the pair make down safely, they find a man waiting to row them out to safety. When the little boat reaches a ship, a stunned Sansa discovers Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish waiting for her. Dontos, who stayed behind to row himself back to the castle, asks for his reward of 10,000 gold dragons. Instead, he's killed by three crossbow bolts.Littlefinger explains to a highly-upset Sansa that Dontos did what he did at Littlefinger's command and did so because he was being handsomely paid. Once he'd drunk this payday, he'd sell Sansa again to Varys or Cersei. When Sansa asks why Littlefinger would want to hurt the Lannisters, who gave him so much, he responds that he had no motive. He likes to keep his foes confused. He says he loved Sansa's mother Catelyn and thinks in a different world Sansa might've been his daughter. However, things get interesting at the wedding feast culminating in a dead king, Sansa missing, and Tyrion accused of murder. Simon and Mackelly wonder if they can get their gift back.Chapter Review:Tyrion Lannister and his wife Sansa Stark attend the royal wedding. While watching the ceremony, Tyrion further considers Joffrey as the man behind the attempt on Bran Stark's life. He had opportunity and means but Tyrion can't quite figure out what Joff's motive would've been.On the way back to the Red Keep from the wedding, Tyrion suggests he and Sansa get out of King's Landing before long. Tyrion feels that his nephew's behavior toward him is getting increasingly aggressive and worries it'll end with Tyrion being a head shorter. At the feast, singers sing of Joff, Cersei, and Renly's heroics on the Blackwater, with no mention of Tyrion's efforts to save the city. Next, dwarves mock joust at Joff's behest and the king commands Tyrion to challenge the victor. When Tyrion refuses, things get ugly. The king dumps a chalice of wine on Tyrion and demands Tyrion be his cupbearer and serve him. Tyrion does as told and the king drinks deeply. He continues to mock Tyrion but a coughing fit worsens to choking. All around, people realize that the king is dying. When Cersei screams, Tyrion knows Joff is dead. What he wasn't expecting was for Cersei to then have him, and his suddenly missing wife, arrested for murder.Characters/Places/Names/Events:Tyrion Lannister - Youngest son of Tywin Lannister. From a hilarious scene featuring Ser Davos and Gendry on the beach that brought a good laugh, to the incredulous idea of capturing a wight to convince Cersei, Zach and Scott dissect the highs and lows of the episode. Their critical eye falls on the noticeable reliance on plot armor, which has become more prominent this season. While acknowledging the decent interaction between Jamie and Tyrion and admiring Cersei's calculated manipulation, the hosts express their disappointment in the way the characters' paths converge at Eastwatch. Sansa attends the breakfast feast before the royal wedding. King Joffrey isn't a fan of hers and Tyrion's gift but he does love Tywin's. He uses the latter to destroy the former, then insists the couple give him a new gift. Tyrion picks up on something in Joff's behavior that gets his senses tingling. Mackelly and Simon worry about the fate of their gift toaster.Chapter Review:Sansa Stark prepares for a breakfast feast for King Joffrey. She is helped by her handmaids Shae and Brella. Her husband Tyrion Lannister is nowhere to be seen, having woken before her and left their chambers. When Tyrion arrives, he dresses and the pair leave for the queen's ballroom. After the food has been eaten, the guests offer gifts to the king. Many fine gifts are proffered, not the least of which is Tyrion and Sansa's gift. They give Joff a beautiful book illustrated by the author himself. Joff is not impressed. He is much more impressed by his grandfather's gift of a beautiful Valyrian steel sword. Joff claims prior knowledge of the rare steel and proves it by hacking Tyrion and Sansa's gift to pieces. The king then insists the pair owe him a new gift. Tyrion suggests a Valyrian steel dagger to go with the sword, and describes the dagger used in the attempt on Bran Stark's life. The king gives a sharp look, but then agrees the dagger would be a good option.Later in the litter, Tyrion asks about Bran and Joff's relationship while in Winterfell together. Finally, he considers his future with Shae and comes to a tough decision. Simon and Mackelly grow tired of buying wedding gifts.Chapter Review:Tyrion Lannister tip-toes out of his bedchamber that he shares with his wife Sansa Stark. After they finish with their intended business, Tyrion laments the weight on his shoulders dealing with his family and much of the Small Council. In his list of stressors, he includes the sight of his own reflection. Shae defends his war-torn face, and Tyrion thinks of the innocence in her voice. However, he tells himself that there is no true innocence in Shae. He's reminded that Varys told him that Shae's backstory was not meant to hold up against Cersei's scrutiny. He adds that if Cersei were to ask, Varys would have no choice but to come clean about Shae and her relationship with Tyrion. Tyrion knows the risks of having taken Shae into the service of Sansa. Hot podcast comin' atcha this week! Host Neal Pollack welcomes contributor Chris Farnsworth to discuss the life and literary legacy of Cormac McCarthy. As he said in his excellent obituary for the site, Chris admires how McCarthy wrote what he wanted, how he wanted, and when he wanted, without compromising anything for commercial considerations. His works were stark and horrifying and both Neal and Chris agree that it's amusing that they're now all over the bestseller list. There will be some surprising beach reads this summer.'The Flash' is here, and Neal and Stephen Garrett pick it apart. Neal found Ezra Miller's lead performance unappealing, and Sasha Calle's Supergirl almost as unappealing. They're both suffering from multiverse fatigue. But they both are happy to see Michael Keaton back as Batman one last time. Hopefully, this is the last we'll see and talk about The Flash. That's certainly the case with 'Elemental,' which may be nice to look at, but Stephen hates the storytelling. He finds it dumb and predictable. Neal wonders how Dreamworks animation somehow managed to lap Pixar. Stephen says the studio that invented modern animation definitely needs a creative boost. Pixar fatigue is also real. But no one is tired of 'Outlander,' especially not our correspondent Rebecca Kurson, who attended the new season premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. Exciting things are coming as the show moves into the American Revolution. She does have to correct Neal that the male lead character's name is not "Jamie Lannister." And she informs us, as a true fan would, that Catriona Balfe drinks a lot of whiskey.Enjoy the show.

Sansa's dress has arrived. It's as beautiful as she'd hoped but there's a rather large string attached. It's a wedding dress and the groom is Tyrion. Sansa protests. Tyrion commiserates. Joffrey is awful. The whole thing is a fiasco, and their post-wedding bedding goes equally as poorly. Simon and Mackelly keep the receipt for their wedding gift.Chapter Review:Sansa Stark finally gets her long-awaited dress she'd been measured for a while back. She loves it and can't wait for Willas Tyrell to see her in it. She's sure it will make him love her for who she is, not her claim to Winterfell. She has Queen Cersei's entire retinue of handmaids working on beautifying her. Right when she couldn't be any happier about how she looks in the dress, Cersei drops the bomb saying it's wasted on “that gargoyle.” Turns out it's a wedding dress and her groom will be Tyrion Lannister. She refuses and tries to flee, but ultimately concedes to her fate.At the sept, Tyrion offers to call it off, if she'd prefer to marry Lancel Lannister. Sansa figures it doesn't matter. A Lannister is a Lannister. Sansa cries throughout the wedding and things only get worse when Tyrion can't reach Sansa's shoulders to put the Lannister cloak on her. The wedding feast doesn't improve on things, ending with Tyrion threatening to geld King Joffrey.Later in a bedchamber in the Tower of the Hand, the new couple struggle to connect. Sansa is too polite, and too young. Tyrion brings up his previous wife. He makes her undress and get into bed but ultimately can't go through with the bedding. He offers not to touch her until she wants him to. She says that might never happen.Characters/Places/Names/Events:Sansa Stark - Elder daughter of Ned and Catelyn Stark.Tyrion Lannister - Youngest son of Tywin Lannister. Tyrion attends a Small Council meeting chaired by his father. Much news is discussed. Afterward, Tywin announces that Cersei will marry Willas Tyrell, the heir to Highgarden, and Tyrion will marry Sansa Stark. Shae was unavailable for comment. Simon and Mackelly plan the bachelor party.Chapter Review:Tyrion Lannister attends the Small Council along with his father Tywin, uncle Kevan, sister Cersei, the familiar figures of Petyr Littlefinger Baelish, Lord Varys, and the reinstated Grand Maester Pycelle. In addition, Lords Tyrell, Redwyne, and Rowan take their seats. Tyrion's not sure he knows the rules of the new game, but he's sure he better learn them, fast. The news flows thick and fast:Randyll Tarly has defeated the northerners at Duskendale. Devan Lannister is rounding up the remnants of his late father Stafford's army to march on Riverrun. Balon Greyjoy offers alliance in return for recognition of him as King of the Isles and the North, Tywin's not ready to respond to that. Greyjoy is already doing everything the Lannisters would want of him - for nothing. Littlefinger is to woo and marry Lysa Arryn to bring the Vale over to King Joffrey. Tyrion takes over as Master of Coin - he senses that Baelish has left him a trap. The Reach lords divide the spoils of war. The Tyrells take Brightwater Keep from the Florents.Tywin dismisses all but family and announces that Cersei will marry. She's not pleased. He suggests some suitors but eventually chooses Willas Tyrell. She storms off. Tyrion is to marry Sansa Stark. Both of these are to derail the plan to marry Sansa to Willas, which Littlefinger unearthed and reported to Tywin. Lastly news of Robb's marriage to Jeyne Westerling is revealed. Tyrion is astonished. The Westerlings surely know what happens to those who cross Tywin. But Tywin is oddly sanguine, hinting that he might be pulling the strings.Characters/Places/Names/Events:Tyrion Lannister - Youngest son of Tywin Lannister. Robb returns to Riverrun, where he exchanges forgiveness of transgressions with his mother. Cat for freeing Jamie. Robb for marrying a non-Frey. Robb also scolds his uncle Edmure for preventing Tywin and his army from reaching the Westerlands, where Robb's force laid in wait. All consider ways to appease House Frey's wounded ego.  Simon and Mackelly peruse belated wedding gifts.Chapter Review:Catelyn Stark is alerted that her son King Robb has commanded that she join him in the great hall. There, she is quickly forgiven by her son for freeing Jamie Lannister. Lord Rickard Karstark is not so forgiving. He calls her actions treason. After the hall has been cleared, Robb introduces Cat to a group of strangers who surround him. Ser Rolph Spicer, his sister Sybell Westerling, and her children. The last of those children he introduces as Jeyne, his new bride and queen. Cat realizes immediately that this means they've lost the support of the Freys, as Robb agreed to marry a Frey to cement the house's allegiance to him.King Robb and Brynden Blackfish Tully then lay into Cat's brother Ser Edmure Tully for harassing Tywin's army, as it tried to ford the Red Fork on it's way back to the Westerlands. It turns out that Robb and his force were waiting on Tywin's army and planned to pin them in the west or destroy them.  That would've allowed Stannis Baratheon to destroy the Lannisters in King's Landing. Instead, Edmure's victory over Tywin allowed him to get word of Stannis' attack on King's Landing and swoop in and save the city.Cat says none of that matters, at the moment. More important is winning back the north from the Iron Born. Robb thinks the only chance they have of success is to earn back the Frey's fealty. There must be something he can offer to Lord Walder Frey. Cat doesn't think it is something, as much as it is someone.Characters/Places/Names/Events:Catelyn "Cat" Stark - Eldest child of Hoster Tully, widow of Ned Stark, father of King Robb.King Robb Stark: Eldest son of Eddard "Ned" and Cat Stark.
