We talk a lot about definition in the Human Design chart, and how this informs you about who you really ARE. Our defined areas are who we were designed to be, the energy we were designed to transmit...so why is it so challenging to just BE that? Well, in today's episode we dive into the shadows and the not-self behaviors hiding in our undefined energy centers. We explore each center, what it governs, and what the likely not-self behavior looks like. This is important information to have because once you are aware of your shadows, you can then transform them!Grab your chart, and let's explore! You can now grab a copy of your Human Design chart on my website!Get yours HEREReady to dig into your Human Design with Dana?Book a chart reading now!No time right now for a live 1:1 reading, but need help interpreting your chart? On the Secret Witch Show today our guest is Dane Tomas. Dane is a fellow magical one, and in short is an Esoteric Entrepreneur, Rap Ritualist, and self-proclaimed Spiritual Smart-ass, who is also known as the ‘Dark Wizard.' In this episode we explored the very popular question that most magical women have: how to come out of the magical closet. In this episode we dived into some of the ways that we can begin to heal the self-expression wounding that often keeps the Secret Witch in the magical closet, hiding and shaming her gifts for the fear of being approved of, and the fear of being persecuted by the patriarchy. Dane so perfectly modelled in this episode what it is to be and speak loving truth - even to the most provocative of topics, including being projected on and branded an abusive cult leader (which he handles with such integrity) for being his full expression of his magical Dark Wizard archetype. What You'll Learn from this Episode: Magical healing really requires us to do shadow work and emotional body work and deconditioning - Dane advocates emotional clean up, reparenting and healing the nervous system as hugely important in our expansion When we look at things through the magical lens, we are not subject to the outside world. The outside world is just “me looking back at me” - if I'm triggered, it's a nice indication that there's work to be done - and that can be done through ritual and an integral approach to magic Whatever we look at is a reflection of us - for example, if you are triggered by the patriarchy, it's helpful to remember that you are also the patriarchy! If you don't like that, Dane's advice is to stick with that for a month, and see what happens if you can integrate more ease - ie love yourself back to wholeness When you're coming out of the magical closet, people can project their stuff on you, and it can feel very hard. They get to have their projections - if you are out in the world being magical, people will have something to say on it; and it's a great way to learn which of our wounds need to be healed. It's also a great way to implement upgrades on some of the feedback and look at what is truly, honestly there for us. We have to step out of the hope that everyone approves of us - and there are a lot of cultural pieces that are designed to keep women ‘agreeable' and ‘nice', so it really is a choice to move out of that The best way to move into magical creation is to just keep taking baby steps that are in alignment with your soul - taking action towards what's in your heart. A good question is “what could open up the possibility for that?” Resources and Things that We Spoke About: Instagram @iamnicolebarton TikTok @teamsecretwitch Facebook Nicole Barton Private Facebook Group Secret Witch Society Dane Tomas Instagram @dane.tomas Dane Tomas Podcast Esoteric Entrepreneur (EE Podcast) Dark Wizard Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-QITPE6q3Q “The Formula” - book coming up Dane Tomas website https://www.danetomas.com/ Thank you for listening, we'd love to know what comes alive for you in this week's episode, so please let us know. On the Secret Witch Show today, Nicole is speaking to one of the most important facets of our path here at Team Secret Witch - liberating your soul's unconscious shadow. She explores how real, deep shadow work is often the missing piece of the puzzle in becoming a true, heart-led Feminine healing leader, and serving your soul gifts to the world. In this episode we dive into all things shadow work and wound healing, explaining how the Witch Wound is one of the big collective shadows that needs self-healing for you to live the life your soul came here for - and how your unique gift is hiding in your deepest wound. What You'll Learn from this Episode: True deep shadow work is the secret solution to creating *everything* your heart longs for - for witches, it's what unlocks their capacity to discover their gifts and create a legitimate business as a heart-led, Feminine healing leader The thing about shadow is, it is unconscious and really confronting to face - and you also get a hella lot of kinky pleasures from being in it. This makes shadow challenging to spot easily by ourselves - which can be hard to work with; the deep work is to make what's unconscious conscious so you can reclaim your power Unless you're doing the deep self-healing work of illuminating your unconscious shadow patterns and loving your little girl's shame so that you can reclaim your soul's wholeness, you are NOT integrating - even though you may have been taught that you are, by those ‘goddess lite' paths which often play archetypal dress up and call it shadow work One of the core shadow wounds for a Witch is that of the Witch Wound - about self-expression (which is required to heal to discover your medicine) Your deepest wound contains your gifts - so you have to be willing to go into your shadow to heal yourself, in order to discover your true soul purpose - and serve your gifts into the world Self-healing yourself of shadow is necessary for you AND others - you can't serve your spiritual gifts with integrity without having integrated and healed your own shadow (and no one can do that for you, either!)
