In the spirit of giving this holiday season I'm interviewing PK Kersey who saw a need and decided to make a difference by starting a non-profit, "That Suits You".  In this interview PK shares why he started That Suits You and how something as simple as having a suit is out of reach for many men. He also explains the emotional and financial effects that follow when you can't dress appropriately for a job interview. Maybe you've never considered that a suit and tie could completely change someone's future, but PK thankfully did and sprung into action.  To date PK has helped nearly 9,000 men through workshops, job training and providing them with proper attire to land the job they need to change their life. Have you ever heard of the 7/11 rule?   In today's episode of The Adverse Effect, we talk to PK Kersey, President and founder of That Suits You.  When, at the age of 22, PK needed to attend a job interview, his pastor stepped in and brought him a suit. This very act of kindness was a pinnacle moment — not only did this fan the flames of confidence and secure him the role, it inspired PK to encourage this sense of confidence in others.  That Suits You is an organization providing men with professional attire to help them get back to work. The organization also does the same for high school seniors for prom and graduation. However, attire is only part of their vision. That Suits You also offers workshops and training concerning the importance of image and manhood as well as thinking beyond the norm of one's abilities and expectations. TSY works with men who are looking to get back into the workforce, but unfortunately lack the means or resources to obtain the clothing required to make a good impression.
