Why do we lose? This is inspired by an article from Evie Magazine called "Feelings don't care about your facts, how conservatives mastered the art of losing." by Jamie Marshall. And it inspired this episode. I talk about the importance of storytelling and how the left wins at it, because we rarely use feelings, just facts. Most humans are manipulated by feelings. Do you know what uses both facts and feelings? Stories. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/lynzee-ballif/support
In this episode, I discuss from personal experience, scripture and from Julia Cameron's works the link between creating art and God. Too many conservative Christians assume that pursuing art as a career is of the devil, when that's not the case. God is the ultimate creator, the ultimate artist, therefore he, like every artist, loves other artists! Yes, a lot of artists are not good people, but this episode explains that good art, good films, writing etc. comes from artists who are linked with God, and that we should let artists be in the conservative community, because we bring lots of value. Art is a huge part of culture, and whoever wins the cultre, wins politics. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/lynzee-ballif/support
