Today Ryan and Guest Host Dave Claxon talk with Juls Tower, extreme athlete, skydiver, and ORM UltraVirus competitor who got into OCR in 2013 with a Warrior Dash. When she first started she hated running, and now she is a Ultra Marathon runner. Juls took 1st for women and 3rd overall the UltraVirus 3 with 55 miles. "Biggest reason I can't stop OCR is because of all you people, I have meet so many outstanding individuals and the love and support is unexplainable."-Juls Juls Auto Bio: Married young to an amazing man we have 2 children, daughter now 24, son 22. Sadly we lost him 8 years ago to a surgery complication. That started me into OCR, it gave me passion and reason to love life again!! Kids are my world, and they are amazing. Son starting his masters in physics, daughter has BA, getting married in feb and may be going back to Korea to teach for a couple years, she already taught there for a year and loved it. My kids support and are proud, However, either one doesn't get OCR and think I'm nuts

Today the Ficks are joined by Mandi and Dave Davies. Mandi and Dave have both lost amazing amounts of weight and embraced Running and OCR as part of their new lifestyle. They started at a combined over 340kg(750#) and have both followed a weight loss program for awesome results. Mandi now has got under a 30min 5k and they both run OCR all over the North West. Their first race they completed together was the 2019 Spartan Seattle. They talk about how surgeries and pregnancies keep them from running together but they support and rally each other from the sidelines. Both of the groups kids chime in from time to time and Sierra takes us in and out from the commercial break.
