Alan and Ian are back behind the mic with a packed episode that hops from European travel chaos to OCR race drama and everything in between. They kick things off with tales from Montenegro, including Alan's encounter with siren‑blaring paramedics on electric bikes at the One Run race. From there, it's a deep dive into Eurochamps and obstacle designs, comparing Spain's grip‑heavy rigs to the UK's fast‑flowing courses — all while sipping Swedish cider and fermented apple juice. The pair stay with the Euro Championships, dissecting safety lessons from a rope‑snap incident, before spotlighting standout performances from the UK Athetes, whose rig skills continue to dominate the UK OCR scene. They also chat job openings at Wild Forest, Tough Mudder, and Spartan, crunching the numbers on volunteer pay versus perks, and unpack the latest contender status confusion ahead of WTM 2026 — including Alan's pit plans with Little Big Scotland and a mysterious puzzle reveal. Finally, they tackle Deadly Dozen's crowdfunding push, Hyrox's luxury cruise, and a few eyebrow‑raising stories from the running world — from charity hikers booed on Snowdon to marathon break‑up signs in Traverse City. It's classic Swift Half: travel tales, race talk, and plenty of laughs over a pint (or a cider). Join the Guildwww.imnotquitting.com The same principle that got Chris through 125 pounds of weight loss got him through 31 miles of trail running: you don't run a 50K by thinking about mile 31, you run it by running the mile you're in. Weight loss works the same way. After two weeks off the feed — between running the Ouachita 50K ultramarathon, leading a Tough Mudder workshop in Atlanta, and pouring creative energy into a major Guild project — Chris is back with an honest update on where the podcast is headed and what he's been quietly building for two years. This episode marks the public launch of the Daily Coaching Program inside The Guild of Champions. What if the fastest way to build mental toughness is to choose the hard thing on purpose? In this episode of The Game Changing Attorney Podcast, Michael Mogill sits down with Andy Glaze. Andy is an ultrarunner, firefighter, and author of Smile, or You're Doing It Wrong. He's built a following by documenting what it really takes to keep moving when your body and brain are begging you to quit. Together, they break down why high performers chase extreme challenges, what ultramarathons reveal about failure and resilience, and how to apply those lessons to leadership, business, and life. Here's what you'll learn: Why high performers deliberately seek challenges with a real chance of failure, and how that mirrors entrepreneurship. How to build durability through “time on your feet” and zone 2 discipline, instead of relying on intensity and motivation. Why learning to reframe pain, setbacks, and criticism is a competitive advantage in business and in life. If you've been waiting to feel ready before you take your next big leap, this episode will challenge that mindset. ---- Show Notes: 00:00:00 Introduction 00:02:34 Michael explains how Andy's “run 100 miles with me” videos caught his attention, and why they changed his view of human limits. 00:03:18 Andy shares how he found ultrarunning in his 30s, starting with trail running and a 24-hour Tough Mudder that pushed him into longer races. 00:05:20 What draws certain runners past marathons, including the outdoors, the slower pace, and the appeal of a longer, more unpredictable challenge. 00:07:01 Why so many ultrarunners are high performers, and how extreme races scratch the same itch as business: risk, uncertainty, and the chance of failure. 00:09:46 What a 200+ mile race feels like from the inside, how pain changes over time, and how Andy manages sleep, short naps, and fueling to keep moving. 00:23:50 The link between addiction recovery and endurance sports, and how some people redirect that drive into something healthier. 00:29:51 Andy's approach to online hate, why he responds, and how he uses it to teach people not to stop sharing their progress. 00:33:17 Why DNF matters, what it teaches, and how Andy thinks about failure as part of getting better, not a reason to quit. 00:39:08 The cost of chasing hard goals, and how Andy thinks about balance, family, and what he chooses to give up so he can train. 00:47:35 How Andy defines success, including goal-setting, long-term thinking, and building a life where he gets real time with his kids. ---- Links & Resources: Andy Glaze Andy Glaze on Instagram Andy Glaze on TikTok Smile, or You're Doing it Wrong by Andy Glaze Moab 240 Western States Endurance Run 100-Mile Ketone IQ ---- Do you love this podcast and want to see more game changing content? Community engagement in registered clubs works when clubs go beyond writing cheques and build genuine relationships with the organisations they fund. In this episode, Michelle Pascoe, Certified Speaking Professional with 30+ years in the hospitality industry, sits down with Club Rivers community engagement leader Jenny Holt to explain why showing up in person — and connecting your community stakeholders with each other — is what transforms a club into the true heart of its community. Is your club writing cheques and waiting for acquittal reports — or are you actually getting in the door? Jenny Holt has worked in the registered clubs industry for more than 25 years and has led community engagement at Club Rivers for over a decade. Her team logs over 1,000 volunteer hours and 50+ community events every year — all in staff's own time. From sailing days with Sailability and sleeping rough for Georges River Lifecare, to climbing Mount Kosciuszko for the Autism Community Network and a Tough Mudder for Waterfall Rural Fire Service, Club Rivers has built a community model that goes far beyond the grant cycle. Community engagement works because it is relational, not transactional. As Jenny explains, the moment a club grant is approved, she is on the phone asking: "When can we come along and see your program?" That one step builds the rapport that makes future funding almost automatic — and gives the board the stories they need to approve the next round with confidence. Michelle and Jenny also explore how Club Rivers is now funding swimming lessons and school camp places for children in public schools that can no longer afford them, why their in-venue CRCTV screen keeps older members connected to the club's community story, and what tips Jenny would offer any club just starting its community engagement journey. Key Takeaways In this episode, Michelle Pascoe sits down with Jenny Holt, Community Engagement Leader at Club Rivers, to discuss: Community engagement in registered clubs is most effective when clubs attend the programs they fund, not just write the cheques — this single shift builds stronger board support, deepens relationships with grant recipients, and positions the club as a genuine community partner rather than a funder. Club Rivers logs over 1,000 volunteer hours and 50+ community events per year in staff's own time, including sailing days with Sailability, a Tough Mudder for Waterfall Rural Fire Service, sleeping rough for Georges River Lifecare, and climbing Mount Kosciuszko for the Autism Community Network. Supporting local schools with funding for swimming lessons and school camps has become a growing priority for Club Rivers, reflecting the reality that public schools can no longer afford these experiences for every child — and that every Australian child has the right to learn to swim. Connecting funded organisations with each other — using the club as the anchor — multiplies community impact well beyond what any single grant could achieve, as demonstrated when Lugarno Lions stepped in to support an ACN event at short notice. Clubs starting their community engagement journey should begin with existing grant recipients, tell their stories across every available channel, and build outward from a strong local foundation. This week Alan and Ian deliver a classic mix of chaos, comedy, community news, and heartfelt moments. From expanding the podcast onto YouTube, to broken ladders in the loft (yes… really), to warm‑weather wildfires and new Garmin toys — it's a proper catch‑up episode with all the usual Swift Half energy. They also take time to honour two huge losses in the OCR world, Jack Carpenter and Kev Lacey — reflecting on their impact, their kindness, and the legacy they leave behind in our community. But it's not all heavy. There's:

This episode is mostly a recap of the recent Savage Retreat in Marble Falls, Texas, and honestly it was one of those weekends that reminds me why we do this in the first place. We had about ten people staying together on a big ranch property with longhorns, wide open land, pickleball courts, and a ton of great food. It was a relaxed environment where everyone could get to know each other, share ideas, and connect. Friday night we cooked a big meal, got everyone settled in, and Jamie gave a presentation about mindset and preparing mentally to do hard things before we tackled the Tough Mudder the next morning.Saturday was all about the Tough Mudder, and that ended up being a highlight of the whole weekend. The course had walls, rope climbs, mud trenches, monkey bars, electrified obstacles, and a massive climb that forced everyone to work together. Nobody got left behind. People were helping each other over obstacles, facing fears, and pushing through discomfort as a team. That's really the whole point of these retreats — creating an environment where people can challenge themselves physically and mentally while surrounded by like-minded people. After the race we cleaned up, ate a mountain of brisket, and wrapped the night with a deeper mindset presentation about identity, goals, and building the life you actually want.On the business side, we're celebrating eight years of Keto Brick, which is pretty wild to think about when I look back at where we started. There were years where Kristen and I were sleeping on the warehouse floor just trying to make it work. Now we've got an incredible team and an amazing community supporting what we do. The anniversary sale is running right now with a 15% discount stacked on top of volume discounts, and the response has been huge. Several flavors have already sold out and the team has been packing orders nonstop. None of that happens without the community, and I'm incredibly grateful for the support.Greg Mahler is also a lifetime natural bodybuilder, and can be followed on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/ketogreg80/Register For My FREE Masterclass: https://www.ketobodybuilding.com/registration-2Get Keto Brick: https://www.ketobrick.com/Subscribe to the podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/42cjJssghqD01bdWBxRYEg?si=1XYKmPXmR4eKw2O9gGCEuQ
In this episode, Greg and I covered everything from LASIK stories and gym culture to CGMs and deloads, but the real theme was intentional living. We both did an unplanned digital detox over the weekend — no social media, no constant email checking, no reacting to every notification. And nothing broke. Sales still came in. Emails could wait. What we gained instead was presence — with family, with training, with real life.Phones have become the adult pacifier. Scrolling doesn't solve anxiety, boredom, or stress — it just numbs it. Time is the only non-renewable resource we have. If you're physically present but mentally tethered to your device, you're absent. So I'm doubling down on boundaries: batching emails, no reactive mornings, fewer distractions, more depth. When you remove noise, you amplify what actually matters. We also talked training — a strategic deload using machines to reduce CNS fatigue while keeping intensity high — and my current CGM experiment. Heavy training spikes glucose slightly. OMAD with high fat? Flat line. Data reinforces the philosophy: adequate fat stabilizes the response. And no, I didn't promote high fat to sell Keto Bricks — I built Keto Brick because I needed it first. Which is fitting, because March marks eight years since launch. Eight years of refining, leveling up, and doing the work.Key Takeaways:Digital detox creates clarity and presence. Most “urgent” communication isn't actually urgent.Boundaries protect your time and energy.Strategic deloads can increase long-term performance.High-fat OMAD keeps glucose remarkably stable (for me).Standards matter in natural bodybuilding — pro cards should be earned.Talk is cheap. Execution wins.Next episode we'll be reporting back post–Tough Mudder — cold, muddy, and better for it.Greg Mahler is also a lifetime natural bodybuilder, and can be followed on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/ketogreg80/Register For My FREE Masterclass: https://www.ketobodybuilding.com/registration-2Get Keto Brick: https://www.ketobrick.com/Subscribe to the podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/42cjJssghqD01bdWBxRYEg?si=1XYKmPXmR4eKw2O9gGCEuQ
Can you believe it? We are officially one year into The Work podcast! It's been exactly a year since we dropped our first episode on Valentine's Day 2025, and what a ride it's been. This show started as a creative outlet and a way to give you guys real-time updates, and the support from this community has been incredible. In today's episode, we're diving into some "gym talk" rants and observations from the week. We touch on the strange culture of negativity on social media—specifically the "venom" found on platforms like Threads—and why it seems like people are looking for any reason to be offended. We also get into a pretty candid conversation about the state of masculinity today, the "warrior poet" concept, and why self-imposed hardship is necessary to build character.I also give a (possibly final) update on my high-fiber experiment. I went from 5 grams to nearly 35 grams of fiber a day this month, and the results... well, they weren't what the "experts" promised. From systemic inflammation to feeling like a 97-year-old man, I'm breaking down why I might be calling it quits on the veggies to get back to peak performance before our upcoming Tough Mudder. One Year Anniversary: Reflecting on a year of recording and why most podcasts don't make it past episode three. The "Threads" Phenotype: Why certain social media platforms become breeding grounds for negativity and victim mentality. The Devolved Man: Our take on the current dating pool, the lack of "capable" men, and why you need both a hard and soft side to be well-rounded.The Fiber Update: How 30g of fiber and increased carbs impacted my inflammation, sleep, and training recovery.Abundance vs. Scarcity: My new strategy for the building phase—eating to satiety and simply doing more rather than cutting back.Minnesota Trip Recap: A look at the massive Los Campeones gym and the "Conquer Convenience" giveaway.Sunday is the final day to enter our massive Conquer Convenience Giveaway (valued at over $6,500!). This episode centers on the theme of pursuing difficult challenges, using the Arrowhead 135 ultramarathon as a case study. The hosts discuss the psychology behind why people, particularly young men, seek out extreme hardship to forge their identity and find meaning. They connect this to the power of building small, daily habits to develop mental fortitude, overcome negative self-talk, and inspire others. Ultimately, the conversation highlights that growth comes not from seeking comfort, but from the discipline of repeatedly choosing to face and push through difficult things. Chapters: Introducing the Arrowhead 135 Ultramarathon (00:00:00) - The hosts introduce the topic of the Arrowhead 135, an intense 135-mile ultramarathon in Minnesota's coldest weather. Caleb provides a detailed description of the race's brutal conditions, strict rules, and the experience of filming runner Mark Dowdle. The Mindset of an Ultra-Runner (00:06:24) - Caleb shares his primary observation from filming: Marc's unwavering positive attitude and consistency despite the extreme physical toll. The hosts then discuss the common question of "why" someone would undertake such a grueling challenge. Why We Crave Difficult Challenges (00:12:04) - The conversation broadens to explore why a generation of young men is hungry for difficult exploits to forge their identity and find meaning. They discuss how voluntary suffering strips away non-essentials and forces a confrontation with one's inner negative voices. The Power of Community and Shared Inspiration (00:22:13) - The discussion shifts to the group's personal experiences with challenges like a 10K and the upcoming Tough Mudder. They emphasize how seeing friends pursue their passions provides powerful motivation and inspiration to push beyond one's own limits. Building Mental Fortitude Through Daily Habits (00:27:06) - The speakers reflect on how their personal challenges of building small, daily habits have had a profound mental impact. They discuss how this practice helps manage distractions, control focus, and systematically overcome the lies and negative self-talk that hold them back. The Discipline of Saying "Yes Again" (00:39:13) - Caleb reveals his biggest takeaway from the documentary project: the power of repeatedly saying "yes" to a challenge. He shares that even elite athletes like Marc face the same universal mental battles and self-doubt, highlighting that the key is to continually push through. Conclusion: Putting Yourself to the Test (00:46:27) - In their closing thoughts, the hosts emphasize the importance of putting oneself to the test with concrete goals and deadlines. They conclude by challenging the audience to consider whether they want things to get easier or if they want to get better. X @mission300_ Instagram @mission300_ Youtube @mission300
Ultras, OCR Chaos, and Big Industry Shake-Ups** Alan survives a gritty 50K ultra, while Ian opts for rugby and lemonade. The lads chat booze myths, zero-alcohol Peroni, and the genius idea of recording a podcast to release in 25 years. Mud Monsters volunteer perks get a shout — along with a plea for clearer merch options. The big topic: the open letter from 307 athletes across 23 nations calling out OCRWC Ireland for sky‑high accommodation costs and murky pricing. Does the OCRWC response really cut it , Alan and Ian push for real answers while inviting listener questions. They also cover new Spartan and Tough Mudder ambassadors, Courtney DeWalter carrying the Olympic torch, and the buzz around Tartan Warrior's new obstacles. What is up, team!We just wrapped up another solid episode, and I'm feeling dialed in. Greg and I got into the weeds on everything from post-deload training stats to the "victim mentality" creeping into today's content. Here is the breakdown of what we covered:Training & Nutrition Update We are fresh off a deload week, and the strength is rebounding hard. I solidified my base and now the numbers are climbing—I hit 505 lbs on Hatfield squats for reps, which was brutal but good. I'm sitting right around 15% body fat, which is exactly where I want to hold. To support that, I'm eating a lot—averaging 3,500 to 3,800 calories a day.My macros are dialed: ~200g of protein and a heavy 250g to 300g of fat. And no, I'm not worried about the saturated fat; I'm getting a healthy mix of stearic and lauric acid from sources like tallow, butter, and cacao butter. The Competitor's Mindset We took a trip down to Little Rock for a posing seminar (and hit up Wright's Barbecue—if you know, you know). On the drive, we talked about the trap first-time competitors fall into. You might bring your absolute best package to the stage, but if you run into a guy who has been competing for ten years, you might not win because you can't control who shows up.If you tie your self-worth to a trophy, you're setting yourself up to be let down. The goal is always to beat the previous version of yourself. If you transformed your life and body to get on that stage, you've already won, regardless of the hardware.Extreme Ownership vs. "Feel Good" Fluff We listened to some Mel Robbins on the drive. Look, she's popular, but a lot of that content feels like sugarcoating—telling people it's okay to stay on the couch and relax. I think there is a void in the space for people who need to be told to level the f up*.We need less coddling and more Jocko-style Extreme Ownership. Even if your situation isn't your fault, act like it is, own it, and find a way to overcome it. The victim mentality is a cancer.Upcoming Events & UpdatesAustin Retreat: The "Mud Run Meetup" in Austin is almost full. We are capping it at around 12 people to keep that camaraderie tight. We're doing a Tough Mudder, so I've been training my agility on the trails to get ready.Family: Crystal just got a gym membership at a new spot about 20 minutes away. I'm stoked for her to have that dedicated space to train and zone out now that the baby is a bit older.Keto Brick: Good news—Chocolate Malt is back in stock this week. We are also working on some new test formulations... let's just say there might be a "tallow teaser" coming soon.Time to go eat some beef and eggs. We're kicking off Episode 40 with a fresh start to 2026 and a little gratitude for the fact that this podcast even exists. What started as a “let's just document things in real time” idea has turned into 40 episodes of consistency, progress, and behind-the-scenes life and business updates. That alone is a win.We talk about the chaos of the holidays, travel mishaps, brutal winter weather, and how sometimes just getting home safely feels like an accomplishment. From Christmas with family, kids organizing toys like engineers, to hunting trips that were more about camaraderie than success, it was a good reminder that seasons of life don't need to be perfect to be meaningful. We dive into fasting, ketosis, and why quarterly three-day fasts can be a powerful tool—especially when you're otherwise eating in a surplus and pushing performance. The goal isn't extremes, it's balance. Staying metabolically sharp while still building muscle is the long game. From there, we reflect on New Year's themes instead of resolutions. Progress is the word. Not massive overhauls, not identity crises—just consistent forward movement. I walk through a year-by-year timeline of major milestones over the past decade, and it's a good reminder that real momentum compounds when you commit, stay aligned, and don't jump ship every time something new pops up.We also give some transparency around product availability, shipping delays during the holidays, and what's actually happening behind the scenes. If something looks delayed, it's not because we're dragging our feet—we're moving fast, and sometimes carriers just can't keep up. We appreciate the patience more than people know.On the events side, we're fired up about upcoming meetups, retreats, Tough Mudder, seminars, competitions, and everything else stacked on the 2026 calendar. There's something happening almost every month, and the focus is making sure everything we touch is done right—not rushed, not sloppy, but genuinely high quality. We talk candidly about content, algorithms, and the frustration of seeing negativity rewarded online. The goal has never been to tear others down. It's to build something better, add value, and serve people in a way that actually improves their lives. That's the challenge moving forward—figuring out how to do that louder without compromising integrity. We wrap up by congratulating the Savage Shred winners, celebrating the transformations, and reminding everyone that long-term commitment beats short-term hacks every time. New year, same mission: progress, consistency, and doing things the right way.Greg Mahler is also a lifetime natural bodybuilder, and can be followed on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/ketogreg80/Register For My FREE Masterclass: https://www.ketobodybuilding.com/registration-2Get Keto Brick: https://www.ketobrick.com/Subscribe to the podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/42cjJssghqD01bdWBxRYEg?si=1XYKmPXmR4eKw2O9gGCEuQ

In this week's episode of The Work, Greg kicks things off with a whirlwind recap of his quick trip up to Minnesota to see family — freezing temps, snow everywhere, and a reminder of how weird it feels spending Christmas somewhere without a white blanket on the ground.Meanwhile, I held things down in Arkansas with a weekend full of farm work, heavy lifting, and the kind of soreness you don't fully feel until the next morning. We also dive into sleep optimization — grounding sheets, cool-sleeping mattress toppers, and the little tweaks that keep recovery on point. One of the big highlights this week: White Chocolate Peppermint Keto Brick is officially live. This flavor hasn't released in years and instantly reminded both of us why it's a favorite — smooth, minty, refreshing, and dangerously easy to stockpile. Once this batch is gone, it's gone for a long while. We also talk about rolling out our new backend software system that updates inventory in real time. Translation: keep an eye on your restock notifications… some flavors might pop back up the moment we produce them. Then we get into a deeper discussion about the nutrition space — the noise, the negativity, and the influencers who build their platforms by tearing others down. We break down why we stay focused on positive, educational, sustainable messaging and why creativity and authenticity always beat reaction-based content. To wrap things up, we run through details on our upcoming Mud Run Meat-Up & Retreat happening Feb 27–Mar 1 near Austin, Texas. A small group, big steak dinners, an epic Tough Mudder run, and guest speaker Dr. Jaime Seeman — it's shaping up to be an unforgettable weekend.White Chocolate Peppermint Bricks are live, the holidays are coming quick, and January's World Carnivore Month is right around the corner.Hit play, enjoy the episode, and thanks for being part of the journey.Greg Mahler is also a lifetime natural bodybuilder, and can be followed on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/ketogreg80/Register For My FREE Masterclass: https://www.ketobodybuilding.com/registration-2Get Keto Brick: https://www.ketobrick.com/Subscribe to the podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/42cjJssghqD01bdWBxRYEg?si=1XYKmPXmR4eKw2O9gGCEuQ
I've always believed success comes down to commitment. Talking about goals is easy. Doing something about them is harder.Matt Brooke, Senior Vice President at Spartan and Tough Mudder, joined me to talk about a mindset that changes how people approach growth and challenge—the Pick a Date mentality. It's simple. Set a date. Put it in the calendar. Make it real. That one step gives purpose, direction, and structure to everything that follows.Matt breaks down how this idea translates beyond endurance racing into business, leadership, and everyday life. He explains how Spartan and Tough Mudder events aren't just about finishing a course but about training the mind to follow through when things get uncomfortable. We also dig into community, discipline, and how embracing failure as part of progress builds long-term resilience. If you've ever felt stuck between thinking and doing, this is the episode that will push you to take action.Key Takeaways:Commitment is clarity: Choosing a date forces you to plan, act, and move forward with purpose.Failure creates growth: Every setback is feedback that strengthens future decisions.Discipline beats motivation: Progress happens when you act regardless of how you feel.Community drives accountability: Training with others builds consistency and shared purpose.Mindset determines momentum: You can't control everything, but you can control your effort.
Savage Race reportedly had their best turn out to a race in the past 5 years! The elite side had a pretty great turn out with an increased payout at the event and when I saw that Tyler Veerman won, I knew that I wanted to have him on the show again! We first met and interviewed him after he won the 15K at OCRWC, had dinner with him in Palmerton after the 3K, and have crossed paths with him at WTM a few times and he has always seemed like a nice guy. We talk about him living in Colorado, how his Savage race win went, what he thinks went wrong at the recent Spartan Super World Championships where he DNFed, progress made across consecutive Pike's Peak races, and much more! This week, Greg and I are back at it—bundled up in hoodies, talking through our new six-day training split. We've officially settled into a rhythm that feels rock-solid: structured, heavy, and sustainable. No program hopping, no gimmicks—just the basics done right and tracked with precision. I'm actually logging everything in the new app for once, and I love seeing the total volume and progression data stack up over time. The plan is to run this through the next six months and analyze how much strength and muscle we build before the next cut.We also dive into the mental side of building season—embracing that “fed” phase without letting it get sloppy. Coming out of a show, it's always tough seeing the scale creep up and the definition fade, but this is where real growth happens. The goal is to stay strategic, keep body fat within a reasonable range, and focus on true performance metrics in the gym.Tomorrow's my 34th birthday, and we're celebrating with a Keto Brick “pizza party” team day—bonfire, hoodies, keto pizzas, and good people. I'm also doing something spontaneous and fun: from now until the end of October, every Keto Brick order gets a random cash bill tucked inside. Could be a $1 bill or a $100 bill—just a little birthday giveaway to give back to the community. We touch on TV habits, disconnecting from the world, and how true rest comes from meaningful activity—whether that's training, hunting, or just unplugging. We talk about getting older, too, but in a good way—stronger, smarter, and more intentional each year. Huge shout-out to Joe Davis, who just set state and national powerlifting records at age 54, proving that age really is just a number when you live this lifestyle right. We're also planning a Tough Mudder retreat in Austin for the end of February—an intimate, hands-on “meat-up” with training, grilling, and good conversation. Between that, some deep cleaning at the brick facility, new software rollouts, and a secret brand launch on the horizon, there's a lot in motion here at Keto Savage HQ.To wrap it up, we brainstormed creating a mini-course on how to track macros properly—covering the basics of scales, portions, and common mistakes. It's something simple that could make a huge difference for folks starting out.Another great episode in the books—steady progress, good food, and plenty of fire ahead.Greg Mahler is also a lifetime natural bodybuilder, and can be followed on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/ketogreg80/Register For My FREE Masterclass: https://www.ketobodybuilding.com/registration-2Get Keto Brick: https://www.ketobrick.com/Subscribe to the podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/42cjJssghqD01bdWBxRYEg?si=1XYKmPXmR4eKw2O9gGCEuQ
Greg just got back from Las Vegas, and we kicked things off swapping stories from his trip. He hit up the legendary Dragon's Lair gym — all red and black, packed with Arsenal equipment, and complete with a lobby full of keto-friendly meal prep and supplements. He even linked up with Joe Davis, who was out there competing at the Olympia. Greg also caught The Eagles live at the Sphere, which sounded absolutely insane — a full 360-degree visual experience that blew him away. Oh, and he hit a jackpot on Fremont Street, so the trip practically paid for itself. He stayed pretty tight with his nutrition while traveling, keeping it keto the whole time but loosening up on tracking macros. He even found a legit keto bakery called Starburst Parlor where everything was made from scratch with clean ingredients — cookies, donuts, pizza, ice cream, all made right. He came home feeling good, no crash, no regrets, and a much-needed mental reset after months of strict prep. Now that he's back, it's time to get back in routine — back to Ozark, back to structure, and back into the reverse diet. He's about 15 pounds up from show weight and already sweating out the travel bloat. We talked about setting up a solid offseason plan: structured training, progressive overload, and adding a belt squat/functional trainer to round out the gym. Both of us are fired up to make 2026 a big building year.We also tossed around ideas for a Live Savage “Meat and Mud” retreat — a Tough Mudder weekend in Austin with the crew, plenty of hard work followed by a big meat feast. On top of that, we're locking in next year's competition dates, teasing a brand-new Keto Brick flavor, and rolling out a new software system to keep the business running smoother than ever.I've got some homestead projects rolling too — planning to bring in a few pigs, maybe film the process too. Between that, Squirrel Camp, and all the Keto Brick projects behind the scenes, things are busy in the best possible way.The team's growing, the systems are tightening up, and the vision's getting sharper every week. Big things are coming — for Live Savage, for Keto Brick, and for everyone walking this path with us.Greg Mahler is also a lifetime natural bodybuilder, and can be followed on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/ketogreg80/Register For My FREE Masterclass: https://www.ketobodybuilding.com/registration-2Get Keto Brick: https://www.ketobrick.com/Subscribe to the podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/42cjJssghqD01bdWBxRYEg?si=1XYKmPXmR4eKw2O9gGCEuQ
