Happy holidays, everyone! We thought we'd give out a little treat today and give you a freebie episode of our (usually) Patreon exclusive series, Sticks 2 Flicks. In case you haven't heard, it's where we watch terrible video game based movies and then make fun of them. Yes, it is as painful as it sounds. But sometimes, there's gold in them thar hills! Anyway, if you like what you hear, then maybe head on over to patreon.com/dicelikeice and chuck us a few bucks. We have loads more episodes over there, and more coming out every month. And if you don't want to, then enjoy the free episode. Either way, have a safe holiday and a happy New Year!

This episode shows you how light, vibration, and frequency-based technology can shift your brain state in minutes, unlock deep neuroplasticity, release stored trauma, and create coherence that normally takes years of meditation or psychedelic training. You will learn how these tools support performance, resilience, mitochondria, emotional regulation, and advanced biohacking. Watch this episode on YouTube for the full video experience: https://www.youtube.com/@DaveAspreyBPR Host Dave Asprey sits down with master healer Raffaele Gianfrancesco, whose work draws on energy medicine, Egyptian color healing, vibroacoustics, and light based entrainment. Raffaele trained in the Barbara Brennan lineage and spent years developing methods that shut down the default mode network, activate the thalamocortical circuit, and move people into deep meditative and altered states within minutes. His technology has attracted the attention of consciousness researchers, advanced meditation schools, ketamine clinics, and U. S. Air Force programs studying human resilience and pilot performance. Dave and Raffaele break down how vibroacoustic sound, harmonics, cymatics, and flickering light therapy guide the brain into gamma, delta, epsilon, and high resonance states that support clarity, emotional release, and rapid state change. Raffaele explains how vibration affects fascia and trauma storage, how light influences the cerebrospinal fluid and pineal gland, and why coherence is the key to shifting consciousness. They discuss ketamine assisted therapy, remote viewing, the Monroe Institute, the relationship between frequencies and brain states, the history of flickering light therapy, and how certain frequencies help loosen trauma patterns stored in the body. You'll Learn: • How vibroacoustic sound and coherent light shut down the default mode network • Why fascia, trauma memory, and cerebrospinal fluid respond to vibration • How flicker based entrainment maps to gamma, delta, and theta brain states • Why the Air Force studies these tools for resilience and reaction speed • How ketamine combines with vibration and light to improve neuroplasticity • Why coherence, awe, and safety cues are essential for deep emotional release • What cymatics, harmonics, and frequency patterns reveal about consciousness Dave Asprey is a four-time New York Times bestselling author, founder of Bulletproof Coffee, and the father of biohacking. With over 1,000 interviews and 1 million monthly listeners, The Human Upgrade brings you the knowledge to take control of your biology, extend your longevity, and optimize every system in your body and mind. Each episode delivers cutting-edge insights in health, performance, neuroscience, supplements, nutrition, biohacking, emotional intelligence, and conscious living. New episodes are released every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday (BONUS). Dave asks the questions no one else will and gives you real tools to become stronger, smarter, and more resilient. This week, the sisters are all over the place in the best way. They kick things off with dog drama, sourdough starter anxiety, and a completely unnecessary debate over whether Oliver Hudson actually needs to act in a Hallmark-style holiday movie. 'Tis the season, so naturally they dive into the first festive pick of the year: A Merry Little Xmas on Netflix — worth it for Chet alone, who apparently spends half the movie half-naked.Then they welcome menopause expert Kim Engelhardt, who breaks down what's really going on with women's hormones, why so many are dismissed by their doctors, why the medical field has failed women for decades, and why men would never be asked to “just deal with it.” Kim gives straight talk on symptoms, hormone therapy, sleep, bone health, and how to advocate for yourself. It's the conversation every woman deserves but too few ever get. Finally, Lynne brings it home with “What's for Dinner,” featuring Ina Garten's roast chicken that turns into chicken-and-dumpling soup the next night. Efficient. Cozy. Delicious.

After an incredibly limited theatrical run Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein has hit Netflix as of November 7th. A week earlier, and maybe we'd have hit that Halloween sweet spot, but beggars can't be choosers, I suppose. I digress.Nonetheless, the occasion inspired Brandon and me (Stoney) to get behind the mics and talk about the vast history that this story holds in cinema history on the latest episode of The Vick's Flicks Podcast. We rewind to 1818 and discuss the original text from Mary Shelley. We look at some of the themes this story explores, and what about it has resonated with audiences for so many years. And, we look at an exhaustive filmography that features hundreds of films that fail to stand out and ask, “why did it take nearly a hundred years to do this ting right again?”Then, Brandon offers up his thoughts on del Toro's effort with 2025's Frankenstein.
