Five years after the release of her debut EP ‘Always Growing', Paige Tapara's music has taken her around the world. She's a big deal in Korea —‘Always Growing' having gone Platinum there— and has just returned from performing her first headline show in Seoul, South Korea. Her fame in Asia came as a little bit of a surprise, she confessed, as she, somewhat naively, thought music that wasn't K-pop wasn't popular. “I've noticed that they like a bit of pop with a hint of soul/R&B, like neo-soul, and I guess because my music is that, it kind of works over there,” Tapara told Mike Hosking. But there's a big difference between streaming success and performing live concerts, she said. “You can do streaming numbers, but that doesn't necessarily translate to live, but it was cool that people came.” “Being an artist is rewarding, but it's also, there's moments where it's soul crushing as well,” Tapara told Hosking. “I think going to Asia, ‘cause I went to Asia in 2023 as well, I think that felt really validating to me, kind of being like, oh, people really like the music.” “It feels like it's worth it.” Stylistically, Tapara's work hasn't changed much in the last few years, still favouring a groovy R&B flavoured pop sound, but as she's grown and aged, the content of her music has changed. “My first EP ‘Always Growing' was about kind of my early to late teen years, and now I'm near, like I'm heading towards 30,” she said. “So I'm kind of experiencing more real-life stuff, so I think that's really affected the songwriting.” Her new EP, 'Paigesspace' was released last week. From my perspective as a plastic surgeon, a surgical facelift provides the most definitive and long-lasting results. After all, it is a surgical procedure that involves a physical re-positioning of the tissues of the face and neck, more commonly on a fascial level or deeper, on a periosteal or bony plane. This episode looks at a new technology that promises a facelift effect without undergoing the knife. In this episode of The Pest Control Marketing Domination Podcast, Casey walks you through a practical roadmap to grow your pest control company with smarter offers, better follow-up, and tighter systems behind the scenes. We start by breaking down how to organize your services into clear package pricing—think Pest Basic, Pro, and Platinum—and then stack on powerful add-ons like seasonal mosquito plans, annual termite inspections, stinging insect programs, pigeon/solar panel clean-up, and rodent exclusion. You'll hear how to tie each package to its own simple marketing funnel so your ad traffic isn't just “clicks,” it's a steady stream of leads moving toward a specific offer. From there, we dive into turning one-shot jobs into recurring revenue. Casey explains a simple 60-day follow-up workflow that checks in with one-time customers, reminds them when it's time for another treatment, and gives them an easy path to upgrade into a recurring maintenance plan.In the third segment, we dig into the real-world use of AI in your pest control office—where it actually helps (missed calls, after-hours, weekends, and peak-season overflow) and where you still need a human touch. You'll learn how an AI receptionist can quickly identify the pest problem, confirm service area, and route leads or appointments straight into your CRM.Finally, we talk about the power of using a virtual assistant (VA) to keep your CRM and pest software in sync, clean up data, maintain tags and pipelines, and make sure no lead or customer falls through the cracks. If you've ever felt like your marketing, your software, and your office staff are all out of rhythm, this section is for you.Whether you're just starting to think about packages and follow-up or you're ready to add AI and VAs into your operation, this episode gives you a clear, actionable framework you can start implementing right away.

There is much that we, n the medical and scientific communities, know about the brain—and there is probably more that we do not know about it. I have often spoken about facial beauty on this podcast—skincare routines, injectables, how to maintain your radiant looks, etc. It occurred to me that I should dedicate at least one episode to a structure that is close to the face, right above it—the brain. Episode 212 of The Hitstreak, a podcast where we talk about anything and everything! This week we are joined by Platinum-Selling Country Artist and Songwriter, Elvie Shane!Episode in a Glance:In this episode of The Hitstreak, I get to engage in a deep conversation with platinum-selling country artist Elvie Shane. We discuss the importance of prioritizing life, the art of songwriting, personal growth, and the balance between career and family. Elvie shares his journey in the music industry, the impact of social media, and the significance of community and support. The episode also highlights the transformative power of a smile and the mission of Smiles for Recovery, emphasizing how personal experiences shape creativity and connection in music.Key Points:- Prioritize who you're doing life with.- A smile can literally change a life.- The hardest part of life is keeping priorities straight.- The road to heaven feels like hell sometimes.- You have to fight your way in and stand out.- The ultimate gift is waking up.About our guest: Elvie Shane, BBR/Wheelhouse artist and champion of the blue-collar generation, has carved out a place in country music with heart, grit, and authenticity. His sophomore album DAMASCUS blends country, rock, and hip-hop, telling raw stories of struggle, resilience, and redemption. Praised by Billboard as “an ode to blue-collar workers” and by Rolling Stone as proof he's “a new voice of the damaged, addicted, and lost,” Shane's music resonates far beyond the stage. The Kentucky native first broke through with his Platinum-certified No. 1 hit “My Boy,” a heartfelt tribute to stepparents that has earned over 400 million streams. The song launched his debut album BACKSLIDER, praised by critics and earning him ACM, CMT, and iHeartRadio nominations while taking him from small-town roots to major stages across the U.S. and abroad.Follow and contact:Instagram: @elvieshanemusicelvieshane.com**Once the goal of 2.5 million members is met, 1,000 limited-edition T-shirts and the unreleased song will be sent, along with the first 1,000 full dental care awards!**Subscribe to Nick's top-rated podcast The Hitstreak on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/NickHiterFollow and Rate us on Spotify: https://spotify.com/NickHiterFollow and Rate us on Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/NickHiterFollow and Rate us on iHeartRadio: https://www.iheart.com/NickHiter

Many years ago, I approached a few natural personal care brands to partner with me to create a line of “functional beauty” products that truly worked from the inside out. This episode of 15FAB explores a new hot topic in beauty. Yes, you guessed it—functional beauty. What is it? How does it work? Does it work? This week we had the pleasure of having a very candid conversation with a rapstress who is quite literally the definition of “small body, BIG energy”. Someone who carries herself with undeniable charisma and a “little but lethal” aura — the kind of person who can command a room without raising her voice because her presence is just MASSIVE. We're talking about the one and only “ BIG GATOR”, Lola Brooke!! The lover girl at heart pulled up to chop it up with us for this week's episode and as usual she brought that gritty, unfiltered, bold, confidence, that we know and love about the unapologetically Brooklyn native. She was talking her talk! Among other things, we discussed her journey thus far since her first Platinum hit “Don't Play With It”, her love life w/ Doe Boy, legacy, and her upcoming album “iight bet!”. You know Charlie couldn't let her leave without catchin massive rec about her height but Lo was ready to fire back!
