This episode, you're going to meet Jess King. Jess and her husband Mike and their son Reuben recently moved to Brisbane from Townsville. Jess' story about infertility was recently featured in our Favourite Magazine but she has a much bigger journey to share. A bit of a heads up: this episode talks about anxiety and depression and it does get a bit dark and deep in places. Jess shares about her experience with depression and performance anxiety and how impacted her marriage and relationship with church and of course, the path to becoming pregnant. it’s pretty raw and real and insanely powerful. If you’d like to read more about Jess (and the other women who make up our wonderful church), you can in our Favourite Magazine! You can buy it online at Favourite Store online at iseechurch.com or a local iSEE CHURCH campus. You can also sign up over there for Favour Conference in July. See you next time!

This episode includes a chat with Pastor Nikki Hamalainen. Nikki, along with her husband Dave, pastors our Adelaide campus. I got to interview her when she was in Brisbane for Favour Conference last month. Disclaimers: Firstly, we did this really late at night. Nikki had just gotten off a plane and so we snuggled on my couch with cups of tea and so we do get a bit late night loopy, just so you know! The second disclaimer is that I had a cold so please excuse my croaky and nasally voice. Last one: If you don’t know Nikki, prepare yourself - you’re going to love her. If you do know Nikki, prepare to delve into the depths of her beautiful, generous and wise heart. Part two will be up in a couple of weeks!
