Tash never planned to get into property. She was a PE teacher, living in Liverpool with her partner, when they won £50,000 on a game show. Most people would've booked a holiday. They bought a house - and not just any house, but one in serious need of work, with no real clue what they were doing.Fast forward a few years, and Propella Property (the business Tash now runs with Amy and their friend Sophie) is behind one of the best looking HMO projects I've seen this year. It's a six-bed in Derby, fully let within three weeks, making £1,000 a month profit, and they didn't even view it before buying! In this episode, we break down exactly how they did it - from sourcing to finance to standout design - and what they've learned from four years of trial, error, and a few expensive mistakes. ******************** Join our upcoming free property investment challenge >> Welcome to the Inside Property Investing Podcast with Mike Stenhouse. Send us a textEp 664: Ever wondered how childhood experiences secretly shape your sexual desires and why most women struggle to ask for what they want in bed?In this eye-opening episode, Ruin Willow sits down with Tash Doherty (Miss Educated), a London-born writer, author, and sexuality advocate now based in Mexico who's on a mission to make the world "shamelessly sexy." Tash breaks down her three-pillar approach to sexual empowerment: discover what you want, believe you deserve it, and ask for it.The conversation dives deep into how family and cultural shame impact our sexuality, with Tash sharing insights from her upcoming **Sex Journal** launching on Kickstarter. This beautifully designed journal features 20 poems and themed prompts exploring ecstasy, obsession, longing, and desire—all designed to help women reduce shame and align their sex lives with their values. From discussing how childhood associations create unexpected fetishes to exploring the healing power of erotic writing, Tash traces sexuality's role throughout history—from Sappho to the Song Dynasty. She shares her journey from teen romance novelist to sex blogger, including viral pieces like "Get a Man Who Loves Your Bush."The duo also tackles the complex role of pornography in sexual education, highlighting ethical alternatives, and emphasizing the importance of self-exploration through masturbation and quality toys.Ready to explore your own sexual narrative without shame? Tune in for this transformative conversation about reclaiming pleasure and rewriting your story, thereby also improving your relationships. Key Takeaways:• A simple three-pillars formula—know what you want, believe you deserve it, ask for it—reframes sexual confidence as a learnable practice. • Erotic journaling can dismantle familial shame and scaled into a mainstream coffee-table Sex Journal launched on Kickstarter. • Stigmatized practices (masturbation, toys, "healthier" porn, open communication) are portrayed as deliberate tools to build self-knowledge, pleasure, and agency.Chapters Timeline:00:00:02 - Shamelessly Sexy00:04:23 - Writing a Sex Journal for Women00:07:23 - Shame and Sexuality00:12:37 - Exploring Female Sexuality and History00:16:09 - Exploring Sexuality Through Design00:18:12 - Achieving Orgasm Equality00:28:16 - Consent, communication, and sexual exploration00:30:56 - Orgasm Equality and Sexual Empowerment00:38:50 - Sex Tech and Favorite Toys00:39:38 - Sex Toys: Tools Not Replacements00:43:32 - Sex Toys Changed My Life, sexual health00:48:09 - Clitoris Shapes, Stimulation, and Orgasm, libido00:52:17 - Vulva vs Vagina, female anatomyConnect with Miss Educated, Tashhttp://misseducated.substack.com/http://tashdoherty.com/Support the showExclusives https://www.buzzsprout.com/1599808/subscribeNewsletters https://subscribepage.io/ruanwillowhttps://linktr.ee/RuanWillow Affiliates Firm Tech 15% OFF with code ruan15 https://myfirmtech.com/ruanwillow BeeDee dating app https://beedee.app/?r=ohfuckyeahThe Fantasy Box DATE30 for $30 OFF 1st box https://thefantasybox.sjv.io/c/6250602/2141126/26423

For me, mastering the art of no-strings-attached sex was a total accident. Since I first wrote about dating Mexican men, I've been looking for a boyfriend on Bumble (i.e., a long-term, monogamish relationship). While my profile says I'm looking for “a fun, serious relationship with someone who lives in Mexico City,” that endeavor has proven to be very difficult. So I've been making casual pit stops into random men's pants to maintain my sanity and have a little fun.Today I'm going to share my very pseudo-scientific logic on how women aren't destined to be bonded forever to every guy we fucked.Come back for more…

Send us a textWhat does it take to emerge from the shadow of a music legend and create your own path? In this compelling episode, we sit down with Teddy Riley Jr., better known as Yung Tash, who's blazing his own trail in the music industry while honoring the legacy of his father, new jack swing innovator Teddy Riley.Yung Tosh takes us through his fascinating journey from Atlanta's vibrant music scene to Las Vegas, where he's established himself as both a respected DJ and emerging recording artist. Despite his famous lineage, Tash shares how his father instilled the value of independence early on: "My pops taught me young, you gotta get it on your own. You're going to appreciate what you have more if you work for it by yourself." This ethos has clearly shaped his approach to the music business. The conversation reveals Tash's strategic career development – starting as a producer creating beats for artists like G Herbo and K Camp, then leveraging DJing to network within Vegas' entertainment scene when he was too young to experience the nightlife. His insights on testing new music directly with club audiences showcase a savvy understanding of artistic development: "Does this make a girl who's 21, who having her birthday, does it make her move at 12 o'clock at night? If it does, I know I got something."We explore the challenges Vegas faces in developing homegrown musical talent compared to cities like Atlanta, where the industry connections run deep. Young Tash offers thoughtful perspectives on music ownership, the modern streaming landscape, and balancing creativity with business acumen. His observations on staying authentic in an industry full of "fake individuals" reveals wisdom beyond his years: "Stay in your realm of people you know, the people that you started out with."Don't miss Young Tash's breakdown of his new single "Saint" and details about his upcoming album featuring collaborations with Trey Songz and his father. Follow Young Tash on social media to catch his next DJ set or release, and experience the sound of an artist who's honoring his roots while defining his own future.

Today, Tash and Shannon sit down with Dr. Eric Weiss—a father, a physician, and a passionate advocate for innovation in autism care. Dr. Weiss shares his deeply personal journey raising a child with autism and how it led him to shift from a career in plastic surgery to exploring emerging autism research. In this episode, we discuss the potential of stem cell therapy to address brain inflammation, success stories from his practice, and the challenges faced in gaining broader acceptance within the medical community. As a podcast rooted in lived experience and intentional advocacy, we know conversations about evolving science—especially around topics like maternal health, inflammation, and treatment—can be layered and sensitive. These themes have long histories and complex impacts within the autism community. Our goal is not to take a stance on specific approaches, but to hold space for curiosity and care. We remain grounded in the values that guide every episode: • We reject cure culture and center the well-being of both autistic individuals and their caregivers. • We believe in thoughtful inquiry—approached through a lens of inclusion, respect, and critical thought. • And above all, we honor the uniqueness of every journey. This episode may spark reflection, dialogue, or questions—and that's something we welcome. In solidarity ❤️
On December 18, 1994, twenty-seven-year-old Alison Botha was abducted from the parking lot of her apartment in Port Elizabeth by two men she didn't know and had never seen. After forcing her into her car, her abductors drove her to a remote field, where she was sexually assaulted, stabbed dozens of times, nearly decapitated, and left for dead.Miraculously, Alison didn't die in that field, but instead managed to get to a nearby road, where she found help and was transported to the nearest hospital where she received life-saving treatment. Because she remembered everything about her attackers, Alison was able to describe the men and they were quickly arrested and confessed to the assault. Since enduring her horrific attack, Alison Botha has become a symbol of endurance and for decades her story of survival has inspired and empowered young women across South Africa and around the world.Thank you to the Incredible Dave White of Bring Me the Axe Podcast for research and Writing support!ReferencesMarianne, Thamm. 2018.
