On today's episode of Comic Stripped, Mark Radulich and Evan Bevins plug into the world of synthetic identity as they compare The Surrogates graphic novel by Robert Venditti and Brett Weldele to its 2009 film adaptation starring Bruce Willis. The original comic explores a near-future society where people live through robotic proxies, raising deep questions about identity, technology, and disconnection from humanity. The film, while keeping the core concept, leans more into action-thriller territory and streamlines the plot for mass appeal. Mark and Evan break down the major story and thematic differences, how the tone shifts from existential sci-fi to Hollywood blockbuster, and whether the adaptation honors or dilutes the source material. It's comics vs. cinema with big ideas, big changes, and big Bruce Willis energy.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsohttps://www.teepublic.com/user/radulich-in-broadcasting-networkFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59
Two miles below the Pacific Ocean, scientists have discovered something impossible: rocks that generate electricity and produce oxygen without sunlight. These ancient metallic "batteries" could be the original source of Earth's oxygen - before plants or algae existed. The CIA has known about these rocks since the 1960s, keeping their true potential classified for decades. The discovery dramatically expands where alien life might exist, from billions of possibilities to trillions. These seafloor nodules host thousands of newly discovered species that evolved to harness electricity directly. But now, deep-sea mining threatens to destroy in days what took millions of years to form. Dark Oxygen forces us to reconsider our understanding of life on Earth and beyond. Could disrupting this hidden electrical network trigger the next mass extinction?

The Midnight Game begins with a drop of blood, a candle, and 22 knocks at the stroke of midnight. What follows is an ancient pagan ritual reborn in the digital age – a deadly game of hide and seek with a shadow entity known as the Midnight Man. From its origins as punishment to its spread across college campuses worldwide, this ritual has left countless participants traumatized by what they've encountered. The rules are simple: maintain your candlelight and avoid the Midnight Man until 3:33 AM. Victims report seeing the same entity – a tall, thin shadow with unnatural movements and conscious intent. The Midnight Man isn't alone, however, but part of a global phenomenon of shadow beings that appear consistently across cultures throughout human history. Scientists and paranormal researchers alike have documented strange occurrences during ritual attempts, from sudden temperature drops to inexplicable equipment failures. The Midnight Man waits in the darkness between worlds, just a ritual away.

What would you do if you felt eyes watching you, turned around, and saw a seven-foot insect-like creature? Since 2006, people fishing along the Musconetcong River in New Jersey have reported encounters with exactly that – a being that looks like a humanoid praying mantis. These aren't just sightings – witnesses report telepathic contact and the sensation of having their memories extracted. The encounters follow a consistent pattern: electronics malfunction, forests go silent, and witnesses experience a strange humming vibration. What's even more compelling is that mantis beings appear in ancient artwork worldwide, from 8,000-year-old cave paintings to Egyptian texts. Are these interdimensional entities that have been watching humanity since the beginning of civilization? We examine the theories – from evolved Earth insects to extraterrestrial visitors – and the strange possibility that these beings might be using the fault lines along the Musconetcong River as a doorway between worlds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ve-XooFp9-A&t=1296s Sources: Devil's Den UFO Encounter, Terry Lovelace: • Alien Implants Vol. 1: Devil's Den UF... Arcana Coelestia 7443. And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, upon which My people stands, that no noisome fly be there. That this signifies that they shall not be able to infest by falsities of malevolence those who are in the spiritual church, although they are near them, is evident from the signification of “severing,” as being to separate so that there is no communication; from the signification of “day,” as being state (see n. 23, 487, 488, 493, 893, 2788, 3462, 3785, 4850), and therefore “to sever in that day” denotes to separate in that state; from the signification of “the land of Goshen,” as being the midst or inmost in the natural (n. 5910, 6028, 6031, 6068), and as the sons of Israel were in Goshen, as being also the church (n. 6649); from the representation of the sons of Israel who are here the “people of Jehovah,” as being those who are of the spiritual church (see above, n. 7439); and from the signification of the “noisome fly,” as being the falsity of malevolence (n. 7441). Thus “no noisome fly being there,” denotes that they could not flow in, consequently could not infest by means of these falsities. That they could not infest by means of these falsities, is because these falsities are falsities from the evils in the outermost parts of the natural mind, that is, in the sensuous, from which sensuous, thus from the falsities therein, they who are in good and truth can be elevated (according to what was said just above, n. 7442); and when they are being elevated, they are then also separated from those who are in falsities there. 7449. The land was destroyed from before the noisome fly. That by this is signified that the natural mind was corrupted in respect to all truth, is evident from the signification of “being destroyed,” as being to be corrupted; from the signification of “the land of Egypt,” as being the natural mind (see n. 5276, 5278, 5280, 5288, 5301); and from the signification of “the noisome fly,” as being the falsity of malevolence (n. 7441). It is said that it was corrupted in respect to all truth, because truth is wholly corrupted by means of falsity from evil. [2] It was from this signification that the Lord commanded His disciples to shake off the dust of their feet if they were not received, as in Matthew: Whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city (Matthew 10:14-15; Mark 6:11; Luke 9:5; 10:10-12); by the “disciples” here are not meant disciples, but all things of the church, thus all things of faith and charity (n. 2089, 2129, 2130, 3354, 3858, 3913, 6397); by “not receiving, and not hearing,” is signified to reject the truths of faith and the goods of charity; and by “shaking off the dust of the feet,” damnation. That “it would be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah than for that city,” is because by “Sodom and Gomorrah” are meant those who are in evil of life, but who have known nothing of the Lord and the Word, and thus could not receive. From this it can be seen that there is not meant a house or city which would not receive the disciples, but those who are within the church and do not live the life of faith. Everyone can see that a whole city could not be damned because they did not receive the disciples and at once acknowledge the new doctrine which they preached. Third Round posts are short audio clips taken from Round 3 comments offered in the online Logopraxis Life Group meetings. The aim is to keep the focus on understanding the Text in terms of its application to the inner life along with reinforcing any key LP principles that have been highlighted in the exchanges.

A clinic in minimal from the elusive Acting Press boss. Why do certain sounds cultivate a cult following? Simply put, it's often because they resist easy consumption. PLO Man and his imprint Acting Press lean into this. Searching for the Berlin-based DJ and producer, you won't find much online presence, interviews or conventional PR. What you will find, if you look hard enough, is a catalogue of records and mixes with a kind of tape hiss charm (a spiritual successor to Basic Channel and Chain Reaction, but scuzzier and lighter on its feet). Founded in 2015, Acting Press once seemed to belong to the short-lived "outsider house" trend, but is now synonymous with a certain strain of modern minimal, one that is analogue, spacious and pointedly opaque. PLO Man's output is equally sparse by design: this week, he joins the RA Podcast with a characteristically elusive style, accompanying the near two-hour mix is a one-answer Q&A that gives almost nothing away. Stripped-back, ever-so-slightly sleazy and coated in dust, PLO Man's RA Podcast continues that lineage in style. Opening with the featherlight microhouse of Margaret Dygas, RA.988 unfolds into a carefully curated spectrum of minimal, dub and deep techno. Among familiar names—look out for the blinding Rhythm & Sound and Moodymann blend—are deep cuts and left turns alongside the odd outlier, like lovers' rock pioneer Gregory Isaacs. Like the best of his forebears, PLO Man wants RA.988 to take time for you to settle in. But once you do, you won't want to leave. @p_el_oh Find the tracklist and interview at ra.co/podcast/988

Thousands of years ago, ancient cultures across Europe built massive stone structures with extraordinary precision. Scottish engineer Alexander Thom discovered these sites all used the same exact unit of measurement: 2.72 feet, which he called the Megalithic Yard. This measurement appeared everywhere, from Stonehenge to the Scottish Isles, at sites separated by thousands of miles and built across thousands of years. These structures weren't just monuments - they were sophisticated machines that tracked celestial movements with astonishing accuracy. How did ancient people without writing or advanced tools achieve such mathematical precision? Why does this measurement connect to fundamental constants of the universe? And most puzzling: why did they suddenly stop building these structures? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B70KYVTJ1is&t=125s Sources: Bright Insight: You Won't Believe This Disturbing Gobekli Tepe Update • You Won't Believe This Disturbing Gob... This week on America's Podcast, it's Black Celebration—or Black Condemnation, depending on who you ask! Jerry wanted an album to tear apart, so Marc handed him one he adores. Will Jerry respect the synth gods, or will he spread blasphemous rumors? Can Mooger be the tie-breaker, or will he just sit back with popcorn? And most importantly—will Marc go full Jerry, but not tonight? No spoilers, but let's just say emotions will be stripped. Tracks of the Week: ▶️ Marc: The Seventh Stranger – Duran Duran (because the ‘80s never die) ▶️ Mooger: Everything – Sevendust (because balance is key) ▶️ Jerry: Battalions – Metal Church (because, of course) Until next time, let's have a Black Celebration and get Stripped—not literally, just emotionally. #AmericasPodcast #DepecheMode #BlackCelebration #MarcVsJerry #BlasphemousRumors #NotTonightJerry #MoogerTheMediator #SynthVsMetal #LetsGetStripped #MusicHotTakes #AlbumWars

Our planet's magnetic shield is deteriorating rapidly, creating a dangerous vulnerability to solar storms of unprecedented power. Throughout history, events like the 1921 New York Railroad incident and the 1859 Carrington Event wreaked havoc on early technology. Cultures across continents left warnings through winter solstice rituals and megalithic structures designed not for worship but as sophisticated energy channeling systems during cosmic upheavals. Their stone warnings remain while our understanding fades. Military documents like CONPLAN 8888 reveal government preparations for phenomena beyond power outages. The magnetic north pole races toward Siberia at increasing speed, while the South Atlantic Anomaly grows larger each year. The approaching plasma event threatens to do more than disable our technology—it will transform reality in ways our ancestors deeply feared.

In 1993, four people gathered in a dark basement in Scole, England, hoping to communicate with the dead. What followed was five years of unexplained phenomena that challenged scientific understanding. Strange lights danced in the darkness. Objects materialized from thin air. Photographs appeared on sealed film. Scientists and professional skeptics were invited to investigate, and many left without explanations. The spirits claimed to be building a network between dimensions and warned of coming changes to humanity. Were the Scole Experiments genuine contact with the afterlife, or an elaborate magic show perfected over 500 séances? The evidence remains controversial, but the impact on those who witnessed these events was undeniable.

Sometimes, the greatest breakthroughs come not in moments of triumph, but in the quiet unraveling of everything we thought we had figured out. In this powerful solo episode of The Greatness Machine, Darius Mirshahzadeh takes us deep into a personal journey that reshaped his life. For the first time, Darius opens up about a transformative moment in the summer of 2022—when he confronted a lifelong battle with anxiety head-on during a 30-day stay in Oaxaca, Mexico. Despite achieving financial success and building a dream life, Darius found himself overwhelmed by anxiety, unable to enjoy the present, and haunted by fears of the future and regrets of the past. Stripped of his usual distractions, he was forced to sit with his thoughts and emotions—leading to a profound realization about ego, identity, and the illusion of control. In this episode, Darius will discuss: (00:00) Introduction to Personal Transformation (02:49) The Struggle with Anxiety (06:10) The Turning Point in Oaxaca (11:58) Discovering New Perspectives Sponsored by: Huel: Try Huel with 15% OFF + Free Gift for New Customers today using my code greatness at https://huel.com/greatness. Send us a textIn this raw and revelatory episode, I share how getting literally robbed in Barcelona led to the most honest business clarity I've had in years. Stripped of my phone, my routines, and my digital reflexes, I was forced to sit with my own thoughts — and what came up wasn't just discomfort, but truth. I unpack the toxic grip of “pics or it didn't happen” culture, the myth of clarity through consumption, and why most ambitious women are chasing goals they didn't even choose. If you've been feeling disconnected from your own ambition, this one will hit hard, and leave you asking better questions.Support the showLove what you heard? Let's stay connected! In this episode of Comic Stripped, Evan Bevins and Mark Radulich take a deep dive into A History of Violence, comparing the 1997 graphic novel written by John Wagner (Judge Dredd) and illustrated by Vince Locke (Deadworld), with the 2005 film adaptation directed by David Cronenberg. Originally published by Paradox Press, an imprint of DC Comics, the graphic novel is a gritty, pulp-inspired crime thriller following Tom McKenna, a small-town diner owner whose violent past resurfaces after he thwarts a robbery and is outed as a former mob hitman. Wagner and Locke craft a tense, noir narrative grounded in bloody realism and identity crisis. The film adaptation stars Viggo Mortensen as Tom Stall, with Maria Bello, Ed Harris, and William Hurt rounding out a powerhouse cast. Screenwriter Josh Olson reworks the core premise, shifting the story's focus from pulpy crime fiction to psychological drama. Cronenberg transforms Wagner's narrative into a meditation on suppressed violence and the duality of human nature, anchored by Mortensen's haunting performance. The panel discusses how Cronenberg stripped down the original's mob-heavy plotting to explore more intimate moral dilemmas — particularly the effect of Tom's hidden past on his family and his sense of self.Evan and Mark also examine how both versions tackle themes of redemption, guilt, and identity, as well as the differing narrative choices — from Locke's visceral, sketchy art style to Cronenberg's cold, calculated visuals. They consider the cultural contexts of both releases, the adaptation's critical acclaim (including Academy Award nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor for William Hurt), and whether either version offers a more definitive take on the cost of violence. Tune in for an in-depth comic-to-screen breakdown with sharp analysis, biting humor, and a respect for storytelling craft across mediums.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsohttps://www.teepublic.com/user/radulich-in-broadcasting-networkFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59

A very special episode today! This week, I invite Marston Hefner, the son of Hugh Hefner, who is now making his mark in the adult content industry. We discuss the challenges and dynamics of being a parent in the adult industry, the motivations behind joining adult platforms, and the stigma surrounding sex work. Marston shares his experiences growing up in a famous family and how it shaped his views on nudity and sex work. The conversation also touches on gender dynamics in parenting and the launch of Marston's new adult platform, RM11, a new adult content platform designed to prioritize the needs and earnings of content creators. He emphasizes the importance of a creator-centric approach, offering a favorable commission split and fostering a respectful environment for creators. The discussion also covers challenges related to traffic and visibility, the platform's commitment to creative freedom, and innovative features like interactive content. Marston highlights the significance of privacy and security for creators, the need for diversification in revenue streams, and the importance of community feedback for continuous improvement. Use code "HEFNER" to receive $25 when a creator makes their first $50.Follow Marston here:www.rm11.cominstagram.com/marston101PS: Group is a proud sponsor of Stripped by SIA. Needing a new website? Here are 3 big things you need to know— One — President Donald Trump has announced far-reaching new tariffs on nearly all U.S. trading partners. That includes a 34% tax on imports from China and 20% on the European Union. Trump says he was placing tariff rates on dozens of nations that run trade surpluses with the United States, while imposing a 10% baseline tax on imports from all countries in response to what he called an economic emergency. Two ---- The man who was found outside Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's home with weapons in 2022 intends to plead guilty to a federal charge of attempting to assassinate a justice of the United States. Roske was found in June 2022 outside Kavanaugh's Maryland, home armed with a gun, knife and burglary tools, according to court documents. He could face a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison. And number three — Hunter Biden is going to be permanently stripped of his law license in Washington, DC. The son of former President Biden agreed to "consent to disbarment" in an affidavit filed on Tuesday after a recommendation from a disciplinary agency. The DC Court of Appeals must now accept the recommendation to then accept Biden's consent to disbarment before making it official.
This week on Breaking Battlegrounds, guest host Sean Noble joins Sam Stone for a packed episode featuring Mackenzie Eaglen of the American Enterprise Institute, who breaks down the true state of U.S. military readiness, how China's defense spending compares to ours, and why Pentagon bureaucracy is undermining our ability to prepare for global threats. Later, Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap offers an inside look at what he calls a “crisis situation” in his office, revealing that outgoing officials stripped him of key powers, staff, and budget before he even took office, leaving voters with a “clearly broken system” and a power struggle that threatens local election integrity. And stay tuned for Kiley's Corner, where she covers the heartbreaking suicides of four officers from the same department last month—and the mysterious reappearance of Valery, the lost wiener dog who vanished on Kangaroo Island in 2023 and was spotted again this February. From national defense to local integrity, this episode delivers sharp insight into the issues shaping America's future. It's Dalton's final solo pitch of the Death's Door Saga, and not coincidentally the bleakest and most disturbing! In the spirit of the original Exorcist and their beloved Exorcist III, Dalton's reimagining is obscene, blasphemous, but also totally sincere and even a little bit profound. Be aware that this episode is not for the faint of heart and we've included a LONG list of content warnings that you should not take lightly. (See: 02:20:17) But, if you like shocking, transgressive horror stories, you may well get a lot out of it. Either way, our next few episodes are guaranteed to be a lot lighter in tone!
