We've been talking about how each and every person has a God given destiny, something He designed for them to do. Today we look at how God has a destiny for women, a powerful plan to use and guide their lives for His glory.

We just celebrated our nation's independence recently but an even greater liberty, an internal and eternal freedom, is available to us through Jesus. He left a legacy of a man who deeply loved God and wanted to follow God's leading, not only for himself but for his family. Today, we want to pursue God the way Joshua did.

But if we're honest with ourselves we don't usually grow much in the easy times. Comfort doesn't translate to change. And God knows that about us. It's why He keeps calling us to new and different places, so we'll fulfill the greater destiny He designed for us.

At the age of 75 God called him to a new place, and revealed a destiny He had for Abram's life. And just like Abram God has a specific destiny for each and every one of us.

Today we look at the only offensive weapon given by Paul, the Word of God, and how we can use it in our daily lives to experience the freedom Jesus offers.

There is a battlefield that exists within each and every one of us, and it happens within our minds. One of the things that the Devil is constantly working to do is shake our belief that God can take care of us. All of us grow up believing our value comes from what we do and what people say about us. We belong to God and we're so loved by Him. That's where our worth truly comes from.

You and I were designed by God to live a life of deep connection to Him, and because He isn't of this world, we aren't supposed to be either. He is preparing a home for us in Heaven and He desires to help us live a life that shows that's our real destination.

I don't know if you've ever really soaked in the reality that there is a loving Creator that cares deeply for you and has a very special and specific assignment for you to do while you're here on earth. The Bible teaches that in life joy will be the strengthening agent within us. It isn't fleeting and it isn't shaken by circumstances. That's what God desires to give you and I today.
