From My Mother's Basement

This year the mosquitoes have used me as their personal pin cushion. I mean each time I go outside I am attacked. No matter what I use they always seem to find a spot on my body that hasn't been protected. A couple of weeks ago I was speaking with a neighbor. She told me what I should use when I am outside on the deck. And I guess I need to invest in the new mosquito repellent and rotten chicken by-product SALMONELLA. You will have to hear the story to see what I am talking about.. Also, have you ever had an Ex that you happen to run into when you least expect it. I thought I would have a little fun today. I have been reading all of these top ten topics online as of late. But, the ones about what you shouldn't say to certain people or groups are hilarious. Today I share ten things you shouldn't say to a black person.. lol enjoy

I am a person that loves to have new experiences. Except when it comes to food. I am not going to put just anything in my mouth, but i digress. This past weekend I actually attended a demolition derby. I have never in my life seen a live one. I have to say it was interesting. Also, I am going back to school... nursing, even.. So, that's coming up. This was an episode I recorded for my 5by5 podcast on blog talk radio and now spreaker..

In the last few weeks I have been accused of being an ageist. It made me think maybe I was. But, I am resigned to the fact that it's just a preference. Or is it? This week I talk pretty casually and candidly about dating older or younger. Pros.. Cons..

Happy Pride Month to everyone. I hope everyone is have a fun and safe pride. I haven't attended an event yet. But, hopefully in the next weekend or so I will.
