Puck opens the show saying he was relieved not to have watched the Mariners game because of how it was so depressing. Puck was coaching his Ballard All-Stars team and they scrimmaged Eastlake LL and Puck is convinced after watching them that they have a legitimate shot at Williamsport. Jim Duquette, MLB Network Radio joins Puck to discuss the M's offensive struggles, something we thought they would be like all season. If the Mariners can't catch the Astros this season will they ever? Who are the sellers in baseball right now? Why doesn't Arizona just consider themselves sellers now and move on. Jim and Puck discuss who is the best team in the AL besides the Yankees and what about the NL, which is way more stacked than the American League. Puck and Jim react to the Denzel Clarke catch for the A's and they discuss whether or not that was the best catch in MLB history. On today's Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett is joined by Jim Moore, Chris Egan from KING 5 and The Scout, an anonymous MLB scout. Puck and Jim open up the show with Jim announcing he has a new job as a golf marshal, however, there is a catch and he's not happy about it. Jim is working at his other job on a Friday as a bag checker at a Bend concert venue and he's never heard of Mumford & Sons. Jim tells Puck that he has learned the identity of the person who wrote the nasty letter on his car and he now understands their anger. Puck also details his night at Mike's Chili Parlor where he celebrated the Pacers win and Jim takes a shot at the crowd size. Chris Egan, KING 5, pays his weekly Friday visit and they start off with Egan questioning Puck for watching the Finals. Puck argues with Chris that's it's ok to have a sports hate. Egan details a great story about a local kid named Ryan Carr and his connection to the Finals. There was controversy involving the WIAA 3A baseball semifinals last week involving Puyallup and Lake Washington and Egan attempts to set the record straight about what happened, but Puck and Jim aren't necessarily buying it. Since Egan is a Puyallup Fair expert, Puck asks him if it's ok to buy a hot tub from the fair. Speaking of hot tubs, Egan shares a story about a plunge in a hot tub and it involves owls?? Lastly, Egan remembers his father in-law, who recently passed away.
