Guest: Rich Butler, Founder—RAGE Works Podcast NetworkOriginally aired on: Podcast Network Insights with Greg WassermanListen to the original: https://rss.com/podcasts/podcast-network-insights/2751235/About This EpisodeWhat happens when a podcast network stops chasing CPMs and starts asking a different question: how do we help creators actually stick around?Rich Butler has been running the RAGE Works Podcast Network since 2014, 12 years without changing the core model. In this conversation with Greg Wasserman, Rich walks through the architecture of a network built on a shared aggregation feed, friction removal, and a revenue split that puts the creator's independence first. If you're a podcaster evaluating networks or a creator building your own, this episode is a practical look at what support from a network can actually mean.Quick StatsNetwork founded: 2014—12 years runningLongest-running show: Turnbuckle Tabloid—525+ episodesHosting platform: Captivate FMRevenue model: 80/20 split (network-sourced ads only)What We Cover0:00 — The jockey and the horseWhy talent matters more than gear and the analogy that frames everything.3:08 — What a podcast network actually isRich's definition: a one-stop shop for discoverability, cross-pollination, and variety.4:37 — How RAGE Works startedFrom a 400-episode run on Blog Talk Radio to building a network for the people who caught the podcast bug.7:41 — The network feed model explainedWhy running a shared aggregation feed helps new shows build an audience before their individual feed even goes live.10:01 — Revenue without chasing ad salesHow the network makes money and why creator-sourced sponsorships get zero cut.16:09 — Red flags when evaluating a networkThe first question to ask isn't "how will you grow my show?" It's "how are you growing the network?"19:11 — What Rich actually does as a network operatorRemoving friction: RSS setup, editing, distribution, mic technique feedback, and platform reporting.23:29 — Audio vs. video in 2026Why audio comes first, how video complements it, and why the "us vs. them" framing is wrong.27:48 — Onboarding new showsThe discoverability call, the gear list, the Google Drive workflow, and how real onboarding actually works.33:43 — The long game and the ROI reframeWhy Rich defines ROI as "return on interest" and what Gary Vaynerchuk said on stage that nearly ended the network.39:41 — Book recommendationsJab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook, and The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck* — two books every podcaster should read.45:21 — Final thought: just create the thing26 years in, Rich's parting message for anyone still waiting to start.Key TakeawaysA shared network feed isn't just a distribution trick, it's a litmus test for new shows and a built-in audience-building tool before a podcast's individual feed even goes live. Most networks fail creators by leading with ad sales. Removing friction (RSS, editing, submission, platform reporting) is the actual service. If a creator sources their own sponsor, the network takes nothing. That's a deliberate choice, not a gap in the model.Audio first, always. Good audio teaches storytelling through inflection. Video amplifies what's already there; it doesn't replace it.Consistency is the real filter. If a network has to chase you for your episode, the show is already in trouble.Download counts aren't the metric. Ten loyal listeners in a room look very different when you're standing in front of them.Quote of the Episode"The podcast is the horse. You're the jockey. You have to be the compelling talent that makes me want to give a damn about you."— Rich Butler, Founder, RAGE Works Podcast NetworkResources MentionedRAGE Works Podcast Network — rageworks.netPress Record Studios — http://www.pressrecordstudios.comCaptivate FM — Podcast hosting platform used by the networkRiverside.fm — Remote recording platform used in this episodeOriginal Episode — Podcast Network Insights — https://rss.com/podcasts/podcast-network-insights/2751235/Book: Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook — Gary VaynerchukBook: The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck — Mark MansonPodcast: The Jay Ferruggia Podcast (formerly Renegade Radio)Podcast: Morning Chat with Mark Ronick

Erik is a founder, producer, and host of ParaTruth: Reborn. With 16 years of experience within the podcast industry, he has committed himself to bringing the very best to listeners around the world. He started his podcast journey hosting and producing Nightstalkers Radio on BlogTalkRadio, which was later picked up by the Para-X Radio Network. After some careful considerations and the decision to part ways with Justin, Nightstalkers was terminated to make room for a reformed version of the show at which point Forgotten Truth was created. The show was designed to break the veil between a Christian perspective of the paranormal and the practitioners of other religions, occults, and secular thinking. An experiment to see whether the "religious", occultist and the scientist can have a fair, productive conversation about the paranormal without tearing each other down. The show had great success in bringing people together from various walks of life, proving that respecting each other's beliefs can open a door to great conversation and better an understanding of individuals. Forgotten Truth aired for one year, after which it too was terminated in order to allow Erik to pursue a dream in filmmaking. Yet, however far Erik tried to push himself away from podcasting and the paranormal, it was never far behind him. In 2014, Erik and Justin reunited to bring the very best of their experiences back to paranormal podcasting and so ParaTruth Radio (now ParaTruth: Reborn) was born. When not on-air, Erik is often found writing screenplays; working in the film and television industry on productions for HBO, Netflix and Disney; and working on digital content for PTR. He brings a Christian perspective to the show along with his knowledge in Christian studies, demonology, and the occult.

Send us a textA 15-year podcast doesn't happen by luck. It starts with a single nudge—in Lorraine Ball's case, an intern suggesting, “You like to talk… you should have a podcast”—and evolves through experiments, misfires, and a relentless focus on what truly serves listeners. We trace that arc with Lorraine as she shares how an iPhone and Blog Talk Radio turned into a durable content engine that fuels speaking, community, and business growth. We dive into the early lessons from live call-ins and why she pivoted to recorded conversations to protect pacing and quality. Lorraine breaks down the difference between authenticity and aimless chatter, showing how to be yourself while respecting the listener's time. She explains how purpose anchors a show—whether the goal is booking talks, nurturing a local network, or driving leads—and how calls to action should change as your strategy does. We talk platform choices and why her community hub lives on LinkedIn, not in a Facebook group that drains energy. You'll hear a practical blueprint for repurposing: transcripts into blog posts, one-minute audiograms, AI-assisted summaries, thematic bundles, and timely re-releases that revive evergreen episodes. Lorraine shows how to turn interviews into articles, newsletters, and even a collaborative book that sparked cross-promotion and long-term relationships. We also look ahead: more video, but with stronger branding and less cookie-cutter styling; audio staying vital because multitasking is real life; and hosts who win by delivering clear value, consistent quality, and a strong point of view.If you want your show to outlast trends, this conversation gives you the tools: define your audience, align each episode to a purpose, make your best ideas live twice, and always end with a meaningful next step. Subscribe, share with a fellow creator who needs focus, and leave a review with one takeaway you'll implement this week. House of Meroe returns with a powerful discussion examining 10 of the most damaging programs imposed on primordial people throughout history. This episode explores how political systems, social engineering, economic control, cultural erasure, and psychological conditioning have shaped — and in many cases harmed — ancient and indigenous populations over time.Drawing from historical analysis, cultural critique, and lived experience, the conversation challenges mainstream narratives and encourages listeners to question how modern systems continue to impact identity, sovereignty, and self-determination today.Originally aired on BlogTalkRadio, this episode is preserved here for education, reflection, and open discussion.Let me know your thoughts in the comments section down below...SPONSORED BY https://www.instagram.com/supremeoftheuk/?hl=enORDER https://www.thehatman.com/product-category/clothing/supreme-of-the-uk/?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAacevzCe-rFKZU3iPH0qYqxU7f__v0yznTpLkO6k9u-gHIxI4oQ9JfyhlttATQ_aem_NJT_3YtGSSu7wm6TraEYJghttps://www.instagram.com/cfr_news/https://rumble.com/user/CFRNetworkhttps://x.com/CFRNetwork_https://twitter.com/CFRNetwork__

The question of what happens after we die is one as old as time itself. We all wonder about it & are devastated by it at some point. Many fear it. And others feel that they already know or have even experienced it themselves. My guest this week, Ryan McCormick, produced an entire series of interviews based on the topic of the death and the afterlife. And all this within his pioneering podcast, "Outer Limits of Inner Truth," that delves into the profound mysteries of life, liberty, health, and the human spirit. Clearly I had a lot of questions, and accolades, for Ryan. We had a fantastic time chatting about all things other worldly. On this week's guest episode, Ryan shares how he came to embark on this journey of sharing stories of the Outer Limits of Inner Truth with the World. He shares about his early days of working with several mentors including metaphysical visionary Stuart Wilde to creating the "world's only show about Forensic Soul Analysis." Ryan tells us what made him decide to tackle death and the afterlife in such a comprehensive way, how he balances being respectful of different beliefs while exploring such spiritual territory, and what he hopes someone who's never thought about these topics gets from listening. Ryan's remarkable series, Journey Beyond Death, spanning 65 original interviews, including 28 with individuals who have had near-death experiences (NDEs), this series weaves together stories of survival, grief, revelation, and spiritual awakening. It brings together voices rarely heard in one place: grief counselors, psychologists, metaphysical teachers, mediums, and survivors of clinical death—all sharing their deeply human experiences and insights. The series begins by meeting listeners where they are: in the raw immediacy of grief. The opening episodes feature deeply personal accounts from people who have lost children, spouses, siblings, and close friends. These early stories are not sensational—they're sacred. They're grounded in real-world heartbreak, but also resilience, offering comfort to anyone navigating the silent terrain of mourning. Bio: Ryan McCormick is a public relations professional and the host and executive producer of "Outer Limits of Inner Truth," a pioneering podcast that delves into the profound mysteries of life, liberty, health, and the human spirit. Since its debut in 2014 on BlogTalkRadio, the show has earned its reputation as the "world's only show about Forensic Soul Analysis."McCormick is the co-founder of Goldman McCormick Public Relations and a Florida State University graduate (B.S. '00). He's the recipient of a 2016 Bulldog Reporter Corporate Social Responsibility PR Gold Award for his work on the Nick Hillary campaign, which helped lead to Hillary's exoneration.Born and raised in Long Island, New York, McCormick describes himself as a "perpetual seeker" and "Fringe Dweller" with an insatiable curiosity for science and spirituality. He's had the honor of working with several mentors including metaphysical visionary Stuart Wilde, Howard Stern, Ron Paul, and PR legend Michael Levine. His show has featured high-profile guests including Richard Belzer, George Noory, Dr. Ron Paul, Robert Kiyosaki, Dr. Naomi Wolf, and others.Show Link: https://www.outerlimitsradio.com/journeybeyonddeath/

Today, I interview Junie Moon, who grew up bright and bubbly, until one look from her mother made her feel unloved. Her free spirit met a controlling household where even a glance could silence her. By eight, she had learned to dim her light just to stay safe. Being cheerful and expressive got her labeled, and rejected.Bullied through middle school, silent in high school, Junie carried this fear of being seen well into adulthood. It shaped her relationships, her body, and her belief that her voice didn't matter. But something changed. A moment came when she couldn't stay quiet any longer—not for herself, and not for the person she loved most. That moment set her on the path to healing.Today, Junie helps women uncover the hidden fears that silence them and teaches them how to build trust in themselves again, so they can speak up, show up, and call in lasting love.__________________Junie Moon is the CEO of Midlife Love Out Loud, a Global Love Mentor, bestselling author, women's empowerment leader, and Certified Shadow Work® Coach. Andy Kaufman faking his death is a theory tracing back to May 16, 1984. I met Frank Nora online in early 2000, through our mutual investigations into this mystery. ParentingAces - The Junior Tennis and College Tennis Podcast
Welcome to Season 8, Episode 26 of the ParentingAces Podcast! I have been traveling - A LOT! - and have not been able to schedule podcast recording sessions the past few weeks. So, in this week's show, we throw it back to my conversation with former World #1 and current Tennis Parent, Tracy Austin. Please note: this episode hails from my days broadcasting on BlogTalkRadio, so you will hear a different intro than you're used to! Tracy Austin shares her incredible tennis story and how she has used the lessons learned from her parents and siblings with her own children in this episode of the ParentingAces podcast, originally recorded and released in February 2015. As you may know, Tracy's son, Brandon Holt, just finished his 4-year stint as a USC Trojan where he played at the top of the lineup starting his Freshman year. I last had the chance to see him play at the 2019 NCAA Division I Championships in May, and his game has continued to grow and develop during his time under the tutelage of coach Peter Smith. Thank you to my son, Morgan Stone, aka STØNE, for our intro and outro music this season! You can find more of his music at SoundCloud.com/stonemuzic. If you're interested in House Music, please be sure to check out his social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. If you're so inclined, please share this – and all our episodes! – with your tennis community. You can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes or via the ParentingAces website. If you haven't already, be sure to become a Member of ParentingAces – we have 4 options for you – by clicking here. Thank you! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
