Look we talk about Death Stranding for four friggin hours. No exaggeration. We talk about its gameplay, its themes, our thoughts on Hideo Kojima, and if we liked the game or not. This episode is a special treat because Eli and Doom discuss TWO indie games! The first is Uncanny Valley, a horror side-scroller that has a LOT of endings. It's also extremely janky. Doom and Eli make good on the promise of Indie games and this week they discuss Ikenfell, a western JRPG about a magic school. It's also an extremely queer game, leading to a lengthy discussion about their own queerness and queerness in videogames and media. We were gonna get to Kojima eventually, and in this episode Doom and Eli discuss the Sega CD version of Snatcher! It's our longest episode yet as Doom and Eli dive deep into a spoiler-filled discussion of detective work, cool cyberpunk aesthetics, and how Gillian Seed sucks and is actually a huge creep. They played the 2015 "Enhanced Edition" and holy shit it's a good thing they did.
