Home of 'The Turd Prophecy'. And Brian Sexton's stories from outer space. And comedy clips. And Special Agent Black Socks. And Sci-Fi clips. Go on humans!

Part two of the story. Tis hard to know if anyone is following but if you are, and are human, then the tale will run the course. I don't really have a plan for how long it will go. It was meant to be a script for a live show with some local comics, but reality means that will never happen so I might as well go mad with it given there are no filming restrictions etc. Gonna try get more regular and sharpen up on the writing and editing as it goes along. Anyhow, hope all is well with you -thanks for joining in. Brian

More messing to camera -a riffed tale about one of the characters in 'Flight into Culfadda' ...part 2 of which is out in three days from, well, the time of typing ...which is Monday the 11th of May 2026 on a calm dry slightly cloudy west Irish summer evening.

A quick tale in the car on the way home -no time to do a full story this week so this'll have to do instead

I write and publish a joke a day (following Spike Milligan's advice). I stick them up on the Irish Science Fiction social accounts -there is well over a thousand of them. Some are awful. Some derivative. Most are average. But every so often one does the job ...keeps universal, punches up, and slaps obvious absurdity in the mush. Today was the latter so I'm giving it a twist on the podcast.Part 2 of 'Flight Into Culfadda' had to be pushed back a week for reasons outside my control -the messing will kick off again and build into madness though. Thanks for listening, Brian

Chapter 1 of a new long form story. A regional passenger airliner gets notions above the county of Sligo. Apologies, am rusty so the first ten mins is a bit crap but it picks up, and hopefully that's the groove for the next ten or so chapters. Thanks for listening, Brian

More filler ...'Flight into CĂșlfadda' should be about next week, like most/all writers this is a hobby and has to go to the bottom of the list of stuff to do -anyhows, this skit is aimed at the AI generated storytelling nonsense, because to my mind the idea of AI creativity is stone mad. It works fine for an algorithm where the name of the game is appealing to the maximum number of people. But it is ultimately (literally) pointless.

The last of the summer wine for a former TV star apologies ...been delayed starting 'black socks'. Writing is about as usefull as a handbrake in a canoe so need to push the adventure back to when I can give it time. Thank you if you're checking this stream out.BTW -have a plan for filming 'Flight into Culfadda' this summer. A mix of 'Fr.Ted' and 'Black Mirror', written around the folk I can get to act ...def a jobsworth traffic controller, and an earnest newsreader, and a comedy duo making a mess of things, and AI doing its AI thing. Dunno why I'm telling ya that ...40% probable ...got two great actors and a top class editor so far, so if it happens there's a 56% chance you'll like it.

A three minute story. If you are tuning in and got a kick from this there are daily jokes on the Irish Science Fiction YouTube that ya might get a giggle from. I try to keep them under a minute ...and there are currently 800+ uploaded (with over half sitting on zero views, which is either an achievement or a true reflection of their quality). 'The Adventures of Special Agent Black Socks' will kick off on it's five year journey soon. Thanks for listening, Brian

A 30 min family friendly Irish Sci-Fi tale ...an electronic algorithm has been agitating humanity into opposing groupings. Written & narrated by Brian Sexton (who had a cold, but ya gotta record when ya can in this game)

A not so funny tale about burnout. On the plus side it's quick. A modern day SF adventure will be out in a fortnight -a self contained tale about a Martian Cephalod, a Socially Engineered girl and a TV show host (prob be a run time of twenty to thirty mins). Thanks for tuning in, Brian

More joke filler ...alt comedy -so ya know, user experience may vary

Just a 90 sec gag in the car to the phone. I think there are three or four watching/ listening to these so ...hello, hope all's good with you -if you tuned in to Nancy G there'll be another long tale starting next month (Nov '25), with a few short bits of stories/ messing in between. Enjoy OĂche Shamhna, keep the fire lit

A report and interview of Irish Comedians attending the world's largest comedy festival (video.................................................................................................................................satire;)..

Just a quick one of the daily Jokes from the social media output. These all bomb, but no reason to stop. Pushing back the launch of 'Special Agent Black Socks' till Jan '26 to try and promote the stuff a bit and see if I can knock a bit of craic outta live gigs ...some folk are up for a laugh but the prevailing wind at the moment is shitty roast stuff.

Recorded this on the phone (and the phone has seen better days) so the quality is not great, but might give ya a snigger.

Just two very quick stories -will upland a third one later but want to do it sitting down and to camera so as to keep it recorded (it died a total death at a standup gig over the weekend but no reason not to stick it online)

A quick joke to camera, just to pass the time while waiting in a car -more storytelling soon.

A micro Jonathan Swift style tale (if he was alive now, couldn't spell, was rubbish at punctuation, and was from Sligo)

Some quick messing to fill in till Nancy G 54 is out. She is back on mission (apologies for the delay). ...3 to go in that one;)

Part of a self imposed joke a day thing I'm doing for social media. Some are not bad, but mostly just variations of old school generic standup gags. I think ya can add a comment below -I've hundreds of these so if it's something ya could play then add a message and I'll clip them into some sort of fairly coherent one liner style upload. Brian

Sketch for another show ...tis starting to bug me when folk say they found out on ChatGPT and it's somehow fine, but when I say 'I made it up' or 'it's just something I feel like could be true' then it's unreliable

An Irish Science Fiction Outer Space Adventure (written and narrated by Brian Sexton). If you've followed the story, then you are part of a very select group ...quality not quantity makes a good audience. Thank you for staying the course. There will be three more bouts of messing to tie it all together, and I'll try have them done this month, ie June '25 -and if not early July.Fair play to you, you are as much the story as me, Bip, Nancy, Bart, Martina or even Sozman himself ...keep on messing;)

Micro episode to camera in Glenn wood at the foot of the Hungry Rock in the Ox Mountains

I forget what this is, but it's a short story of some description -am working away at the ending to Nancy Goodaim. I think there at least three of ye following, so if you are one then this is a quick note to say the ending is coming. I've been stuck for recording time, but have a window in late June -so the plan is to finish the rough story (it's slightly improvised during recording) and get the lot down that week ...and if there is time in between it'll be out there. Anyways, thanks for tuning in

Joe is high ...forgot to post these so will check back, think there are three or four missing if you want to torture yourself;) More Nancy G this week. Thanks to anyone checking the feed out, you are the story. Nancy G will finish out by the summer, and then a new 3 year tale begins in Autumn: 'The Adventures of Special Agent Black Socks' Fair play, Brian

60 seconds of messing

Well, what do you reckon? (Nancy G delayed till next week, apologies -only have time for this messing this weekend)

Us humans created AI to learn from our thoughts, which means...(More 1 min messing, Nancy G back next week)

An Irish Science Fiction Outer Space Adventure (Written and Narrated by Brian Sexton)

Aaargh, struggling to get Nancy G back on track -one min clips are all I can fit in ...will try do a ten minute or so episode tomorrow -Bip and Mighty need to continue their journey, would do Catherine's memory an injustice if they packed it in ;)

More messing -sixty seconds of Sci-Fi

More messing, slowly changing the direction of these as they are dying a death -ideally we'd do a carpool podcast style interview thing but nobody is willing to waste ten minutes ...so far;) Looking like Nancy G is a non runner this week (if anybody cares) -would love to keep the story rolling but unfortunately writing is a hard to justify indulgence ...might get something out over the bank holiday.

Barely a thought but might give ya a giggle -more Nancy G this week, really struggling to find any time but I'm gonna keep the show going come hell or high water ...those poor folk have gone too far to turn back now;)

Economists ...they're never not wrong

More messing -the commander in tweet's sidekick, and his Irish equivalent;)
