Seth and Sean discuss delusional Yankees fans being convinced that the Blue Jays just MUST be cheating.
In the months and years leading up to his death, Robert Maxwell became increasingly distrustful and paranoid, convinced that those closest to him were plotting behind his back. He had his offices secretly wired so he could eavesdrop on his employees and even his own family members, creating an atmosphere of fear within his empire. Once known as a charismatic and domineering media tycoon, Maxwell's behavior grew erratic—he would lash out at staff, accuse them of betrayal, and micromanage even the smallest details of his companies. His paranoia extended to his financial affairs, where he grew obsessed with hiding the truth about his massive debts and pension fund manipulations, leading him to retreat further into secrecy and denial.By the final months of his life, Maxwell had become almost delusional in his distrust. He isolated himself aboard his yacht, the Lady Ghislaine, surrounded by loyalists and bodyguards while cutting off communication with anyone he didn't fully control. Reports and tapes from that period show a man consumed by suspicion, believing that enemies in government, media, and even within his own business circle were conspiring to bring him down. His death at sea—officially ruled accidental but still clouded in mystery—seemed to encapsulate the final unraveling of a man trapped in his own web of lies, surveillance, and fear.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Michael Wolff, author of four books chronicling Trump, joins the Beast's Joanna Coles to reveal Trump's madman plan for the government shutdown. Wolff explains how Trump turns congressional gridlock into an existential battle of dominance, using fear, chaos, and pain as weapons. From Military leaders frozen in place by Trump and Pete Hegseth's humiliating lecture to Trump's ostentatious White House ballroom construction, this episode exposes Trump's desperation to be respected. They outline how an unpredictable president turns a bureaucratic stalemate over the government's budget into a personal war, and exactly how he thinks he can win. Hosted on Acast. Michael Wolff, author of "All or Nothing," joins the Beast's Joanna Coles to discuss how the ghost of Jeffrey Epstein is haunting Trump's White House. Wolff lays bare how Trump's bizarre conspiracy thinking explains exactly why he went after former FBI chief James Comey. And Wolff gives behind-the-scenes insight into Trump and Pete Hegseth used their unprecedented meeting with 800 generals and admirals to attempt to force blind loyalty. He and Coles dissect the desperation to control the military and weird obsession with dress codes and beard bans and how Trump's obsession with image is shaping America's future. Hosted on Acast. Jackass's Jason “Wee Man” Acuna is such an Ozzy fan, he crossed the ocean to see the Back To The Beginning gig before even having a ticket. (He made it in, Thank God.) The biggest little metalhead on the planet joins Discograffiti in paying tribute to the all-time greatest metal band in a whipcrack-fast three-part series that'll school you in how metal got started. And to sweeten the pot, we're only covering the Ozzy era. Here's just a few of the many things that Wee Man discusses with Discograffiti in this podcast: A rundown of his experience attending the already-legendary Back To The Beginning gig; The band's early days growing out of the late-Sixties British blues scene; The great allure of turning their debut record around in 48 hours flat that continued to hold appeal as a way of working for some members of the group; The shockingly depressive underpinning of Geezer's lyrics for “Paranoid”; How in the hell Wee Man deals with his Jackass-induced aches & pains; A look back at Wee Man's relationship with Billy Barty when he was a kid; And an in-depth deep dive on every song off Black Sabbath and Paranoid! On this episode of The Discourse, host Mike DeAngelo is joined by Riz Ahmed, Lily James, and director David Mackenzie to talk about ‘Relay', a paranoid thriller set in New York City that follows a world-class “fixer” (Riz Ahmed) who brokers lucrative payoffs between corrupt corporations and the individuals who threaten their ruin. He keeps his identity a secret through meticulous planning and always follows an exacting set of rules. When a new message arrives from a potential client (Lily James) needing his protection to stay alive, the rules quickly start to change. The film also stars Sam Worthington, Willa Fitzgerald, Matthew Maher, and more. For Ahmed, the attraction was as much about who he was working with as the story itself. “The thing that's always one of the most important things is your director,” he said. “You're going to be in their hands. You've got to kind of vibe with them. So David was a big pull. And then it's also who else are you going to be doing this with? When I heard it was Lily, I was absolutely thrilled.”

In this episode, Ray and Marc crank up the volume to celebrate the “Prince of Darkness” Ozzy Osbourne. From his groundbreaking years with Black Sabbath to his wild, unpredictable solo career, they explore the music, the mayhem, and the moments that made Ozzy a rock icon. Along the way, they share favorite tracks, untold stories, and the lasting influence Ozzy has had on metal, hard rock, and pop culture. Whether you know him for “Crazy Train,” “Paranoid,” or his reality TV antics, this is a tribute you won't forget.
Ozzy Osbourne, the self-proclaimed "Prince of Darkness"—a title he certainly lived up to—co-founded Black Sabbath in 1968, a band whose groundbreaking sound shattered expectations entirely. As their frontman, Ozzy's distinctive vocals and mesmerizing stage antics propelled them to superstardom throughout the 1970s. Imagine the landscape of music without anthems like "Paranoid" or "Iron Man"; their creation rests squarely on the shoulders of these sonic pioneers!Ozzy's contributions to Black Sabbath are the stuff of legend. He became the iconic face and unmistakable voice behind their initial eight albums, a discography that defined an entire genre. Beginning with their eponymous debut in 1970 and culminating in "Never Say Die!" in 1978, each record unleashed the band's brooding, monumental sound and Ozzy's, shall we say, characteristically eccentric vocal delivery. "Paranoid" and "Master of Reality" stand as undisputed masterpieces, essential listening for any self-respecting metal aficionado.Regrettably, the perils of the rock 'n' roll lifestyle exacted their price. In 1979, Ozzy's struggles with substance use culminated in his departure from Black Sabbath. However, this setback proved a launchpad, catapulting him toward an immensely successful solo career and reaffirming that the "Prince of Darkness" was far from dethroned!Ozzy Osbourne's 1980s solo endeavor proved extraordinary. With the collaborative genius of Randy Rhoads and Bob Daisley, he unleashed Blizzard of Ozz (1980) and Diary of a Madman (1981) upon the masses. These albums did not simply resonate; they instigated a seismic shift within the hard rock sphere, plotting a trajectory for a decade brimming with unparalleled musical audacity.Naturally, the Ozzy experience was never without its share of uproar. His on and off-stage actions fueled constant public conversation, even sparking disapproval from the Christian right, who claimed promotion of Satanic ideals. Yet, every bit of attention helped, it seemed. Amidst the controversy, Ozzy released thirteen solo studio albums, with the initial seven reaching multi-platinum certification in the United States; an achievement that reflects remarkable sales. The "Back to the Beginning" farewell concert in Birmingham on July 5, 2025, was an emotional tidal wave for Ozzy Osbourne and his fans. He announced his retirement, citing health concerns, and the performance felt like a joyous celebration of his legendary career, rather than a somber farewell. That "Back to the Beginning" aptly encapsulated his swan song resonated deeply, echoing his formative years in Birmingham. The news of his death a mere 17 days later, on July 22, reverberated like a thunderclap. While plans for future recordings existed, fate intervened. It's devastating that such a prodigious talent was cut short so abruptly, yet what a legacy he forged!Ozzy's seismic impact on music is undeniable, and his innovative spirit will perpetually galvanize future musicians. Though his earthly performance has concluded, his music endures. I'm just so grateful I got to witness such genius.Flamekeeper Podcast Network: http://www.youtube.com@flamekeeperpnAll Rights Reserved. Send us a textOzzy Osbourne's life was a thunderous symphony of chaos, triumph, and resilience. From co-founding Black Sabbath in 1968 and birthing heavy metal with groundbreaking albums like Paranoid and Master of Reality, to launching a wildly successful solo career marked by anthems like “Crazy Train,” Ozzy constantly redefined rock rebellion. His career was equally infamous—biting off a bat's head on stage, snorting ants, and surviving near-death experiences, including the tragic loss of guitarist Randy Rhoads. With Sharon Osbourne by his side, he reinvented himself again in the '90s through Ozzfest, which ran over two decades, and MTV's The Osbournes, which humanized the “Prince of Darkness” for a new generation. In later years, Ozzy battled Parkinson's disease and multiple health setbacks but still returned for a historic final Black Sabbath reunion show on July 5, 2025, performing seated on a bat-themed throne in Birmingham. Just 17 days later, he passed away at 76, leaving behind a legacy that merged mayhem, genius, and unexpected vulnerability. This episode dives deep into the unforgettable highs and crushing lows—from his wildest interviews and family drama to his cultural legacy and final farewell. With the passing of Metal legend Ozzy Osbourne, we felt it was fitting to release an old episode where we listened to one of the first metal albums ever "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath. We recorded a little intro after our last episode but this episode is chock full of goodies from 2023. Russ does a parody song, Russ looks for a missing car, Matt talks Minneapolis concerts, and surprise surprise, Rob talks about candy and then we talk Metal and the hardest metal riffs of all time. We are out of town so enjoy this episode and RIP Ozzy who not only invented metal but also invented the celebrity reality show which is why I really will miss him. Ozzy walked so "The Simple Life" could run.

Nuacht Mhall. Príomhscéalta na seachtaine, léite go mall.*Inniu an séú lá is fiche de mhí iúil. Is mise Siubhán Nic Amhlaoibh.Fuair an t-amhránaí rac-cheoil Ozzy Osbourne bás Dé Máirt an tseachtain seo, agus é 76 bhliain d'aois. As Birmingham ó dhúchas, tá sé curtha síos dá bhanna ceoil Black Sabbath gurb iadsan a chruthaigh an seánra miotal trom, a bhuíochas le hamhráin ar nós Iron Man agus Paranoid. Níos lú ná trí seachtaine ó shin, rinne Osbourne, a thug an t-ainm “Prince of Darkness” air féin, ceolchoirm dheireanach le slán a fhágáil ina bhaile dúchais, agus cuid mhaith de na ceoltóirí a spreag sé féin ar an ardán leis, Metallica agus Guns n' Roses ina measc. I ráiteas, dúirt a theaghlach: "Is le níos mó bróin ná mar is féidir le focail a chur in iúl go gcaithfimid a thuairisciú gur bhásaigh ár n-Ozzy Osbourne grámhar ar maidin. Bhí sé lena theaghlach." Níor shonraigh siad cúis bháis, ach bhí sraith fadhbanna sláinte ag an réalta agus diagnóisíodh go raibh galar Parkinson air in 2019. Dheimhnigh urlabhraí thar ceann an teaghlaigh gur bhásaigh Osbourne sa Ríocht Aontaithe.Tá cáineadh géar déanta ar an Rialtas as gan aon tagairt in aon chor a dhéanamh d'infheistíocht sa Ghaeilge agus sa Ghaeltacht san athbhreithniú ar an Phlean Forbartha Náisiúnta a foilsíodh inné. And now for something completely different...in this special episode, we pay tribute to the late, great Ozzy Osbourne and each pick five of our favorite songs from the rock legend's career. So you may ask yourself, why are we doing an Ozzy episode on our classic alternative music podcast? We certainly don't want to be "those guys" who churn out opportunistic memorial episodes - but, quite simply, Uncle Gregg suggested "hey, we should do an Ozzy tribute" and Brett said "OK, let's do it." That's the way decisions are made here at O3L Headquarters...and six hours later, the episode is out to the world. John "Ozzy" Osbourne passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76, a little more than two weeks after his final performance at the Back to the Beginning farewell concert, a massive show that featured a who's who of heavy metal musicians, culminating in a five song Ozzy solo set and a four song finale from Black Sabbath. Ozzy, of course, rose to prominence as the lead singer of Birmingham rock band Black Sabbath from the time of their formation in 1969 until his dismissal in 1979. Considered one of (if not THE) most influential bands in the evolution of heavy metal, Sabbath also consisted of guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward, releasing a string of classic albums like Black Sabbath (1970), Paranoid (1970), Master of Reality (1971), Vol. 4 (1972), Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (1973), Sabotage (1975), Technical Ectasy (1976), Never Say Die (1978) before Ozzy launched a fruitful solo career. Solo records include 1980's Blizzard of Ozz, 1981's Diary of a Madman, 1983's Bark at the Moon, and 1991's No More Tears, intertwined with occasional Black Sabbath reunions, most notably their 2013 album 13. Osbourne remained at the forefront of pop culture through his popular Ozzfest tours and his unlikely stint as a lovable TV Dad on the reality show The Osbournes. Learn more about your ad choices. Produced by Joseph Cottrell, Wayne Hall, Ken Fuller and Jeffrey Crecelius This week Mark and I had all sorts of fun thinking about whether there are any short Yes epics - or if this idea is even possible. We set ourselves the restriction of only choosing Yes songs less than 6mins in duration so can you guess what we came up with and how we justified our choices? It was sad to hear that Ozzy Osbourne died this week, only a few weeks after performing his last ever concert with his Black Sabbath bandmates. I can't say I was a dedicated fan of Ozzy or Sabbath but my introduction to heavy metal was when a friend of mine took me up to his room in a slightly creepy Victorian mansion and played me the self-titled album by the Birmingham band. How appropriate the setting was. I also learned to play Paranoid on the drums when I was a teenager and my younger son taught my daughter, when she was a toddler, to sing the alphabet to the riff from War Pigs. My elder son was a true fan so he was upset when we heard the news. As you know if you've read the new Tales book or get your information from many other sources like Matthew Paine on Facebook, Rick Wakeman was a huge fan of Ozzy who he met at Morgan Studios while Yes were recording Tales. He ended up playing keys on 2 songs on Sabbath Bloody Sabbath which was being recorded over the road in another Morgan studio at the time. Eventually, Ozzy returned the favour by singing on Rick's "The Return to the Center of the Earth", as pointed out by Paul Graf also on Facebook. Our own Doug Curran interviewed Ozzy for his radio show in 1981 so do make a point of reading his reflections on that on the YMP Facebook discussion group Rest in Peace Ozzy. https://www.quora.com/What-makes-epic-songs-epic https://youtu.be/YGsq3ya1-8Y?si=_4zjczWxt3grbwzH https://youtu.be/UF2P_qgi7YA?si=n9Vbim5fGeLPjfEN https://youtu.be/63nZud3Xu1Y?si=Y0PMEIxL5dxYXNHS https://youtu.be/CBtZ8exhRPQ?si=rt0xacK2W8SeZXl4 https://youtu.be/8-hJFoSgXfM?si=OTCdWuAB7U2zg-1- https://youtu.be/qEUkRRLe6vQ?si=SwOTImHn3DIXFIYe Yes - The Tormato Story & Tales from Topographic Oceans - Yes Album Listening Guide Available now! We got word this afternoon that The Prince Of Darkness now rules in the afterlife. R.I.P. Ozzy Osbourne. 1948-2025. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which period he adopted the nickname "Prince of Darkness". Osbourne became a founding member of Black Sabbath in 1968, providing lead vocals from their eponymous debut studio album in 1970 to Never Say Die! in 1978. The band was highly influential in the development of heavy metal music, in particular their critically acclaimed releases Paranoid (1970), Master of Reality (1971), and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (1973). Osbourne was fired from Black Sabbath in 1979 due to problems with alcohol and other drugs. He then began a successful solo career with Blizzard of Ozz in 1980 and released 13 studio albums, the first seven of which received multi-platinum certifications in the US. He reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions. He rejoined in 1997 and helped record the band's final studio album, 13 (2013), before they embarked on a farewell tour that ended with a 2017 performance in their native Birmingham.” (Wiki)

Joanna Coles unpacks global chaos colliding with American absurdity: a California senator thrown to the ground, Israel striking Iran, and the man in charge of U.S. diplomacy? Trump's golf buddy Steve Witkoff. Who else to make sense of this than Michael Wolff, the chronicler of Trump's chaos. Wolff dives into Trump's racist tirade after the arrest of Senator Padilla, and how Gavin Newsom accidentally became the face of Democratic leadership—thanks to Trump himself. Plus, Wolff paints a jaw-dropping picture of Trump's “phone monologues,” Witkoff's terrifying Middle East power grab, and why American politics now runs on height, hair, and real estate credentials. Joanna Coles returns to dissect the latest turn in the Trump–Elon Musk war—and who better to decode the thoughts in Donald Trump's head than Michael Wolff, Trump's biographer. Wolff explains how the feud puts JD Vance's future in question because Vance's "only hardcore support" is from within the tech community. Wolff reminds us that Trump's Epstein connection still hangs over Trump like a sword Damocles. And Wolff shares that within the White House, people are saying "Thank God for LA" and the mass protests against ICE agents, which have stolen the American people's attention. Hosted on Acast.
