The disciples scattered when Jesus was captured and crucified because they couldn't see Him for who He truly was in that moment. But God's purposes are always greater than our plans, and we too often lose sight of that when things go sideways. After the resurrection, the disciples couldn't believe their eyes when Jesus appeared to them alive. But when they saw the truth of what God had done—bringing Jesus back to life—it changed the trajectory of their lives and our world. God longs to restore the broken places in our lives, and it's in seeing Jesus that everything changes.

So, are we living in the end times? What does the Apocalypse, also known as the book of Revelation, in the Bible actually say? Join us in our new series, beginning February 2nd, as we look at the book that introduces us to the tribulation, Armageddon, the antichrist, 666, the second coming of Jesus and, yes, the end of the world.

In fact, many people live paycheck to paycheck, struggling to get by even though their income should be adequate. Join us for our next series, "Paycheck to Paycheck" as we explore the three critical dynamics for breaking the cycle of spending all we make, and how to experience true financial freedom.

When Jesus spoke, people listened. Hundreds, even thousands gathered to hear what He has to say. Jesus was an incredible storyteller. When he spoke, his stories met people where they were at so that they could fully grasp what he was teaching. He shared about the Kingdom of Heaven through everyday stories. This gave people a real-life perspective and a tangible meaning to what it meant to believe in God and to follow Jesus.

Culture is making some dramatic shifts all around us. Sometimes as Christians we feel like we are living in a foreign world. There is a good reason for that. The Bible says that we are foreigners and aliens in this world. But this is not the first time that God's people have been in foreign territory. The Old Testament of Daniel records the history of the Jewish people being in a foreign land and a hostile culture. In Daniel, we learn that when culture shifts, we need to know who we are, reaffirm our convictions, and respond with love. We can do this by learning to live in the tension between truth and grace. Truth is God's standard, and without it we lose our way. Grace is God's favor, and without it we can seem judgmental and mean. As we begin to hold God's truth high and freely give the grace we freely received, we can journey together to make a difference. Join us as we study the book of Daniel!
