Pride Month is evil, and we must call it what it is. In this episode, we're discussing the spiritual implications of Pride Month, asking hard questions about what it represents—and how believers should respond. We're drawing the connection between pride, identity, and rebellion against God's design for human flourishing. Many Christians feel spiritually drained during this month, and we should. I'm challenging my listeners to love the LGBTQ+ community not with silence or compromise (and certainly not with support) but with truth—the truth that God offers forgiveness, transformation, and eternal life to all who repent and follow Christ. We must hate sin while praying for our enemies. Send us a textFaith comes under fire in seasons of intense spiritual warfare, often targeting our families and personal walk with God. Pastor Gary Pratt delivers a timely message about standing strong when everything seems to burn around you.Drawing profound parallels between Daniel's experience in Babylon and our modern challenges, Pastor Gary illuminates how the enemy uses similar tactics across time. Just as Nebuchadnezzar attempted to transform young Hebrew captives through education, language and culture, today's world systematically attempts to transform our children into its image. The spiritual battle begins at the youngest ages with subtle indoctrination. What made Daniel and his friends extraordinary wasn't simply surviving captivity but thriving despite it. When offered comfortable compromise, they chose faithful obedience instead. Their stand resulted not in loss but in supernatural blessing—appearing healthier and stronger than those enjoying worldly privileges. Later, when thrown into the literal fires of persecution, they emerged without even the smell of smoke on their garments. Most remarkably, they weren't alone in their trial—a divine presence joined them in their suffering. Are you facing your own fiery furnace today? Remember whose you are and the power that lives within you. Don't be ashamed of the gospel—let Christ shine through your life as a compelling witness to those around you.Good morning, good afternoon, wherever you are in the world - Welcome to Grapevine Ministries. Divorce is not just a personal decision, it's actually a spiritual health crisis. And it's unfortunately rampant in society today. In this episode, I'm calling it what it really is: sin. God literally says in Scripture, “I hate divorce” (Malachi 2:16), yet our culture treats it like a self-care strategy. Christians are increasingly justifying what the Bible clearly condemns. Let's be clear: marriage is a covenant and walking away from it without biblical grounds is rebellion against God.Even with biblical grounds to divorce (such as in cases of abandonment or sexual immorality) God still prefers there be genuine repentance and genuine forgiveness. Meaning, no matter how "bad" it allegedly gets, God still suggests true apologies and true absolution. He wants that instead of bitterness and separation. Also, everyone seems to conveniently be forgetting about how divorce impacts the children. That is very wicked to not consider how it affects them.People have come at me with rudeness, bitterness, and every excuse under the sun as to why they "had to" get divorced, but none of that will stop me from speaking the truth. You did not "have to" get divorced. Not most of you. I'm not here to please people. I'm here to honor God and uphold what His Word says, even when it's uncomfortable or "comes off mean." Unfriendly reminder: I win every single battle and every single war because I fight on the side of righteousness, and you probably don't. Tune in as we break down the lies, the "justifications" and the tragic consequences of treating divorce like an option instead of the absolute last resort.Marriage is a holy covenant between one man, one woman, and God.Hope this helps!--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee

Send us a textWe spend countless hours debating theological concepts, but how often do we pick up the phone to comfort someone who's hurting? This raw, honest conversation tackles the universal Christian experience of trials, temptations, and afflictions—and why they're actually essential to our spiritual growth. The discussion challenges a dangerous misconception in modern Christianity: that suffering indicates spiritual failure or lack of faith. Contrary to prosperity gospel teaching, Scripture actually promises that trials will come to every believer. As James 1:2 instructs, we're to "count it all joy when you fall into various temptations"—not if, but when they arrive. This powerful teaching distinguishes between happiness (which depends on circumstances like jobs, relationships, and possessions) and joy (which persists regardless of external conditions). True joy comes from understanding that God uses our hardships to develop patience and spiritual maturity. As one participant powerfully testified: "I know God loves me because I've been through trials—I need them to be molded into His character."The most convicting aspect of this conversation is its spotlight on how Christians respond to others' suffering. Many believers can articulate complex doctrinal positions yet fail at the simple act of showing compassion. A brief phone call, a home-cooked meal, or just a few minutes of prayer can be more powerful than the most eloquent theological argument.Has someone in your circle been going through a difficult season? Take a moment today to reach out—it might be the most important ministry you perform this week. Remember, the world will know we are Christians not by our doctrinal precision, but by our love.Support the show

The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore be earnest, thoughtful men of prayer. Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love makes up for many of your faults. Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay for the night. God has given each of you some special abilities; be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God's many kinds of blessings. Are you called to preach? Then preach as though God himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies so that God will be glorified through Jesus Christ—to him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen. If you are suffering according to God's will, keep on doing what is right and trust yourself to the God who made you, for he will never fail you. (1 Peter 4.7-11, TLB)

Immeasurably More// Faith Under Fire// March 30, 2025Ephesians 6:10-20 (NIV)“Finally, BE STRONG in the Lord and in the strength of HIS MIGHT. Put on the full armor of God so we can take our stand against the devil's schemes because our battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers and against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NIV)“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does…On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”Isaiah 59:14-17 (NIV)“So, justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter. Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice. He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene, so his own arm achieved salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him. He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.” The armor is about confidence in God's ability to hold all those elements of the armor true and together. The Helmet is His Salvation Isaiah 12:2 (NIV)“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.” Ephesians 2:8 (NIV)“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” The Breastplate is His RighteousnessPhilippians 3:8-9 (NIV)“What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.” The Belt is His TruthPsalm 33:4 (KJV)“For the word of the LORD is right, and all His work is done in truth.” Ephesians 4:14 (NIV)“Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.” The Sword of the Spirit is His WordHebrews 4:12 (NIV) “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” The Shoes are His Gospel of PeaceIsaiah 52:7 (NIV)“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” The gospel is meant to be peace with God and peace with one another. The Shield of FaithFaith is deliberate confidence in the character of God.Faith is not about my ability to believe but it's about His ability to BE.His unfailing character and person. Faith is not about my ability to believe but it's about His ability to BE. John 14:26,27 (NIV)“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you…Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Diving right into the thick of it, the latest episode of the Rapp Report tackles the intersection of faith and law, a topic that's as spicy as a Southern BBQ in July. Andrew Rapoport welcomes the insightful Davis Younts, a scholar blending his passion for Christianity with a sharp legal mind, to dissect the often contentious relationship between biblical principles and the American legal system. They kick off their chat by addressing the misconception that Christians should shy away from engaging with legal matters, especially regarding legislation that can impact the church and its congregants. Younts elaborates on how understanding faith and law is crucial, particularly in light of recent judicial decisions and the implications for religious freedom. With a sprinkle of humor and a hefty dose of thoughtful analysis, they navigate the complexities of how secular humanism reshapes societal norms and what that means for Christians called to stand firm in their beliefs amidst an ever-evolving legal landscape.Takeaways:The podcast explores the intersection of faith and the legal system, emphasizing that Christians should not shy away from engaging in legal matters. The guest, Davis Younts, stresses the importance of understanding Christian principles in shaping America's legal framework, citing the Bible's historical influences on the Constitution. They discuss the challenges Christians face in a secular world, where legal battles often arise around religious freedom and moral values. The conversation highlights the need for Christians to participate actively in public life and the legal system rather than retreating into silence during times of cultural upheaval. Has the US become a bad place to be a Christian? In a recent NY Times feature, writer Aaron Renn, who has been called the "Malcolm Gladwell of Conservative Christianity," claims that America has shifted into a "negative world" where Christianity is a social liability. In this episode, Mark and Kelly wrestle with this idea that Christianity is losing its cultural dominance in the US. We cover a range of topics such as the prevalence of Christianity (a recent PRRI study asserts that 2/3 of Americans identify as Christian), Christian nationalism, persecution, tolerance, inclusion, privilege and power, the response of Progressive Christians, and what it even means to be a Christian in the first place.
