Shawn Moninger @ Unity Center of Norwalk CT (7/30/23) Living From the Super-consciousness “I Can't Live In Peace If…” Hey Unity, “I Can't Live In Peace If…” I can't live in peace with a war going on in my head. I can't live in peace if I insist peace is absent. No one is a “peace-maker.” There are peace-finders but peace was already made and we can't remake it. I question the intentions of those who call themselves “peace-makers.” It's similar to thinking we can actually forgive someone. We can experience forgiveness but to have the power to forgive implies I have the power to actually judge someone. My judgements aren't real because they are based on opinions that are made up. So my thinking I can forgive is based on opinions that are made up. I can however, experience forgiveness; meaning that I can release the thoughts and opinions of judgement. Peace is natural. The seeming absence of peace is based on thoughts and opinions that are made up. Or, we could call it “the foolishness of forgetting our God-connection.” I can't live in the mindfulness of peace if I forget my God-connection. Now I need to do what I can to remember my God-connection by reminding myself of what God is. God IS Omnipresence (Presence Itself.) God IS Omnipotence (Power Itself.) God IS Omniscience (Intelligence Itself.) God IS Love Itself. God IS Wisdom Itself. God IS PEACE Itself. Therefore, I am always IN Peace whether I'm aware of it or not. So before we declare an absence of peace, let's remember the Presence of Peace. Got it? All the Best For Today, Rev. Shawn If you think I can help you to get greater clarity, by all means reach out. 203-855-7922 or RevMrShawn@gmail.com

Denver International Airport: What's Going On Here?

Wrestling With The Future

WHAT'S REALLY HAPPENING BENEATH DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT? Since the construction of Denver International Airport (airport code=Denver, nickname=DIA) was finished in 1995, the newest airport in the United States since the 1970s, there have been innumerable conspiracy theories surrounding it. Many of these theories are somewhat supported in a loose fashion by various aspects of the airport from the art that is there to the sheer number of unused buildings and airplane hangars. Below, I'll talk about some of the things that people have theorized about since the airport's inception and whether these thoughts might have the backing or not. To start, you need to know a little bit about its background and the building of the airport itself. These facts lead many conspiracy theorists to surmise that there are things going on at Denver International Airport that people do not want others to know about. Because of the design changes as well as the contract disputes leading to many different workers on the job under different contractors, it is thought that nobody really knows the true scope of the project because its architects wanted it that way. Denver International Airport Construction Workers Building D.I.A. Photo: courtesy of Denver International Airport There are known to be as many as 6 underground levels below the ground floor of DIA and possibly more that are not even known about. Beyond that, there are theories that tunnels exist all the way from the Colorado Springs Air Force Base to DIA and from the Air Force Base to the Cheyenne Mountain Complex in the Rocky Mountains outside of Colorado Springs. The difference in budget certainly leaves room for raised eyebrows as well. Why would it cost so much more money to complete the project than originally estimated? Are there other things that were added later to the project that made it so expensive? The theories can be endless, and they are. Yet, these are legitimate questions that need to be asked; why did the final project cost so much more? The Artwork For all public projects in the City of Denver, 1 percent of the budget for each project has to be allocated towards public art to be put on display there. Because of this, there is a lot of great artwork in DIA. But, some of that art plays right into the hands of conspiracy theorists. Field of Air by Ned Kahn Denver International Airport Conspiracy Theories Field of Air by Ned Kahn at D.I.A. Photo: courtesy of Denver International Airport For instance, besides Blucifer, the demon eyes horse sculpture that killed artist Luis Jimenez during construction, there are 2 other massive murals by Leo Tanguma, which have been theorized to foretell the actual purpose of the airport through messages hidden within the work. You can read a more in-depth article on these murals here. Just taking an initial look at the Tanguma works titled Children of the World Dream of Peace, and In Peace and Harmony with Nature, they show the darker sides of what DIA has been theorized to be. Themes of death, genocide, and an apocalyptic single government world, are seen clearly in the murals despite the uplifting meanings that Tanguma says are the true message. The Dedication Capstone In the Great Hall of DIA, there is a plaque that is a dedication to the airport. On it you might think that the main contributors to the airport might have been the City of Denver or the State of Colorado, however the first name listed on the stone as a contributor is an organization called The New World Airport Commission. D.I.A. Dedication Capstone Braille D.I.A. Capstone in braille. Photo: K W Reinsch This might not seem odd to the casual observer but with a little research, you will find that no organization exists or has existed. The capstone of the airport names an organization that sounds eerily like The New World Order, a supposedly secret society that has far-reaching control from behind the scenes. People often think that DIA was built by them to weather out an apocalypse or extinction event of some kind. Underneath this capstone, there is also a time capsule said to be opened in 2094. Nobody knows what is in the time capsule but there are theories abound pertaining to the secrets or clues that might be locked within underneath this curious dedication to stone of the airport. The Tunnels and Underground Buildings There have long been outspoken people who claim to have gone down many levels under DIA and to have seen the tunnels firsthand. In this article in Westword Magazine, the author talks with Alex Christopher, an older woman who is at the heart of this conspiracy. Just after the airport was built, she met some people at a conference in Denver who took her down there, and later she returned with her friend Phil Schneider. After that, Schneider turned up dead of an apparent suicide. Obviously, fellow theorists are skeptical about that and consider it more of an assassination. Christopher went silent after that but has recently been working on a new film. Also, while the airport was being built, there were 5 buildings that were built below, but for some reason needed to be abandoned. Instead of destroying them, another infrastructure was built on top leading many to wonder just what might be going on in those buildings underneath the ground level. Airport Layout and Other Buildings As with many of the aspects of DIA that play into the hands of conspiracy theorists, the buildings and layout of the airport do as well. Not only is DIA the second largest airport in the world regarding land mass, but there are an untold number of extra buildings and hangars on the property that seem unneeded for a typical airport. What are those buildings for and why did DIA need so much land to sit on? Beyond that, looking at a bird's eye view of DIA, all the runways and terminals together can be construed in the shape of a swastika. There can be interpreted Nazi themes in artwork previously mentioned so the layout of the airport seems very curious with both on its grounds. Furthermore, all the fences at DIA also have barbed wire curiously facing inward. Some theories around DIA suspect that it will be used as a prison or concentration camp in the future, so this wire is thought to be there to keep people in, not out.   Other Thoughts on What Happens at DIA There have been many other theories about DIA. Some think it is the host of ‘Area 52', aptly named after the real United States Government ‘secret' base, Area 51. While theories about Area 51 are ubiquitous about aliens, downed UFOs, and extraterrestrial life being held there, many people believe that DIA also may have unknown government secrets stored deep underneath it as well. More reasonably, people surmise that DIA will be the United States Militaries' headquarters if a war breaks out on its home soil or for other similar reasons. There is enough room for airplanes to be stored, barracks underneath, and infrastructure above for operations as needed. DIA is also under new renovations slated to be completed in 2021 with much of the current airport being worked on behind new barriers that help jokingly question what is really happening there. You never know what new conspiracy theories will pop up now that DIA is under construction again. The theories of old will always grasp at straws but with new construction comes new thoughts on what the New World Order or others might be up to with Denver International Airport. We highly encourage anyone going to DIA to check out the plaques, murals, and other oddities throughout the airport which have been written about by countless different theorists. Not only are they interesting to see and experience firsthand, but they also might leave visitors with a lot more questions than answers.

Witchcraft:It feels like as we enter into October that we are now walking through Muddy fire.  We are seeing the occult release MACRO spells on the COSMOS level over society to where a dividing can occur.  Because the devil knows that a house divided against itself will fall. BUT!  The Lord is allowing it because HE is further separating the sheep by letting the enemy do the dirty work so that ALL those operating in TRUTH/PURENESS are now beginning to shine! Leaving those hearts who refused to comply in past seasons with a choice:  either get into deliverance and GET FREE or to STAY STUCK! To which many of those voices are saying to those warning them “Who DO YOU THINK YOU ARE YOU LITTLE WHIPPERSNAPPER?” To which this Whippersnapper has to reply:“I BE NOBODY BUT THE DAUGHTER OF A LOVING KING! And I adore Him and He loves me….so He has now pulled my vessel up around His bosom like that of a new born child.Have you ever seen a Father reach down to grab His child from danger?  The bible says that a 1000 will fall at my right and 10,000 at my left but it won't come near my house!  So this CHILD that you observe is sitting comfortably (IN PEACE) in the arms of her King- AS IS AMERICA!  And for all you PHARASEE SNAPPERS----the Lord says to tell you THIS:“HOW LONG MUST WE (NOTICE HE SAID WE) QUARREL between two TRUTHS?  Does your truth match My heart?  Or has it from the start where you have decided what is yours vs. what I SAY is yours. DID I NOT SAY through My prophet that I was leading people to ME another way yet you say, your way is better? Yet you act dismayed when things don't go your way because YOUR WAY is NOT THE WAY OF YAHWEH!  The way of the King- where I could bring you out and through and into the new- if you would only listen and OBEY.  You still think you can outsmart Me says the Lord, or that I will be mocked by a few hearts that refuse to acknowledge truth? You see, you have been walking your own way for a very long time, mixing the HOLY with the UNHOLY because you refused to deal with the issues of the FATHER (your earthly father) where a swindling spirit has taken you astray- and today- you act as though you would say- NO- that's not me- you don't know me- BUT I MADE YOU says the Lord, and yes, YOU HAVE the same lack of integrity because of how that spirit has carried you today.Support the show

ABMS S2, E1 starts with a Black History Commemoration reflection from Ujamaa Man Cedric and Coaches Darnell and Andre on "What gives them hope today?," followed by a discussion about voting rights with Kevin Lindsey, CEO of MN Humanities Center.  Special guests' bios: Dr. Bernard Lafayette  Today's special guest, Dr. Bernard Lafayette has led a life of service by putting his own life on the life to uphold the values and beliefs that all persons are created equal. A student activist in the Nashville, Tennessee, sit-in campaign of 1960, and a longtime staff member of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee(SNCC), Bernard Lafayette gained a reputation as a steadfast proponent of nonviolence before Martin Luther King offered him the position of program director of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) in 1967. Dr. Lafayette was born in Tampa, Florida, on 19 July 1940. In 1958 he moved to Nashville to attend American Baptist Theological Seminary. As a freshman, Lafayette began attending weekly meetings arranged by JamesLawson, a representative of the Fellowship of Reconciliation who had contacted King during the Montgomery bus boycott. Throughout 1958 and 1959, in partnership with Nashville's SCLC affiliate, Lawson taught nonviolence techniques to Lafayette and his fellow Nashville students, including John Lewis, James Bevel, and DianeNash. Energized by Lawson's classes and a weekend retreat at the Highlander Folk School, Dr. Lafayette and his friends began conducting sit-ins at segregated restaurants and businesses in 1959. When Ella Baker, under the auspices of SCLC, organized a conference of students on Easter weekend in 1960, Lafayette attended this conference that gave birth to SNCC. (Pronounced SNICK)   Kevin Lindsey As former Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Rights from 2011 to 2019, Mr. Lindsey led the department to prominence as a positive change agent across Minnesota and nationally, defeating a photo-id Minnesota constitutional amendment, ensuring passage of the ban-the-box law, overseeing the nation's largest statewide school suspension settlement, and transforming how people think about diversity and inclusion. In his current role as the CEO of the Minnesota Humanities, Kevin seeks to create a just society that is curious, connected, and compassionate by working to create equity within schools, developing humanities programs, and, when funding is made available, the Minnesota Humanities also provides grants to community cultural organizations. Kevin received his J.D. and B.S. in Political Science from the University of Iowa, where as a student he served as editor-in-chief of the Iowa Law Review. He was honored by his alma mater with the 2017 Iowa Law Review Distinguished Alumni Award.

Hear about the place of the cantata or passion in the liturgy of a Sunday morning, how these cantatas follow our Church Year, what makes a chorale a unique part of the cantata, and which chorales would sound especially familiar to us.  Familiarize yourself with Bach's music that you will probably recognize! Does eating a ketogenic diet lead to abdomen and back pain as a result of high acidic urine production? Why is this happening? Hello Jimmy and Dr. Will, Love your show! I have been experiencing a dull ache regularly in my mid to lower abdomen and back since I started keto over a year ago. Last week it started to get worse and I went to the ER to get some bloodwork, have x-rays taken, and CT scan (with contrast)—everything came back normal. The doctor’s best guess was that I have a stomach bug. This was based on deductive reasoning, which I did not buy. Today I researched this further and found this seems to be common with keto due to an acidic urine issue. Some of the remedies suggested include bicarbonate soda with Milk of Magnesia to ease the load on the kidneys. So my question for you guys is this: Do you see this in your ketogenic patients and how do you help them with it? Why is this happening? Thanks, Ed THE PERFECT KETO SUPPLEMENT USE COUPON CODE LLVLC FOR 15% OFF NOTICE OF DISCLOSURE: Paid sponsorship 2. How do I manage the carbohydrate cravings that come with bipolar disease do I can reduce my carbohydrate intake to ketogenic levels? Hey guys, I have a question for you regarding bipolar. I have it and the predictable carb cravings that go along with the disease. The theory is bipolar people crave carbs to stabilize their mood. I am currently under medicating for my bipolar and I’d love to find a more natural way to deal with this. I just started keto and dropped my carbohydrate intake from 180g to 90g daily. What can I do to get my daily carbohydrate intake to below 50g without the intense cravings that I’m experiencing from my disease? In Peace, Keith KEY QUOTE “We shouldn’t gorge on any food, whether it’s fat, protein, or carbohydrate. Hi Jimmy and Dr. Will, I often hear people in the ketogenic community including you guys state to make sure you "eat enough calories.” But what does that mean? I'm a 50-year old women who engages in light exercise like walking, work a desk job and sit from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and I have NO idea how many calories to eat. Some say 1,200 while others say 2,000 which I think is pretty high. I'm so confused and frustrated because I still have at least 45 pounds to lose. While I'm not planning on counting calories, I'd like a general guideline as to what is right for me. Thanks for all your info. Lisa KETO TALK MAILBOX – What is the idea poop for someone eating keto? The History of the Christian Church

This episode of CS is titled “Augustine – Part 2.”Augustine wrote a work called Retractions in which he lists the many books and treatises he'd penned. Each work is given a summary and additional notes are added charting the development of his thought over time.He wrote some 113 books & treatises, close to 250 letters, some of which are treatises themselves, and 500 sermons. Here's a rundown on some of them …The best introduction to Augustine's thoughts is his Enchiridion – also known as On Faith, Hope, & Love.  The section on faith is an exposition of the Apostle's Creed. Hope is captured in the Lord's Prayer, while Love is the summary of the Commandments. On Christian Teaching is Augustine's theology of Scripture; what it teaches, how it ought to be understood, and a practical theology on how to share it. It's here he developed the foundational principle of the analogy of faith. It establishes the rule that no teaching which is contrary to the general tenor and story of the Scriptures can be developed from any particular passage. The history of heresy and pseudo-Christian cults makes clear most of them violate this basic rule of hermeneutics. On Catechizing the Uninstructed gives both a long and short form for how to deal with inquirers.Augustine's On the Good of Marriage affirms the benefits of marriage as bringing children into the world, protecting fidelity, and serves as a picture of Christ and the Church. Although, keeping with the sensibilities of the time, it made clear the superior position of celibacy.Shortly after arriving back home in Tagaste, around 389, Augustine wrote what is probably his most famous work – Confessions. The word meant more then than it typically does today. Yes, it bears his confession of sin, but Augustine also meant the word as his profession of faith and a declaration of the goodness of God. Completed by 401, it lays bare his soul. He describes his life before conversion, the events leading to his conversion, and his path back to North Africa. The Confessions of St. Augustine is counted as one of the greatest autobiographical works of all time. It contains the oft-quoted “You have made us for Yourself, O God, and our hearts are restless until they find their rest in Thee" in the first paragraph. Scholars & students of ancient literature are moved by Augustine's remarkably candid and perceptive analysis of his struggle with sin. At one point he shares the struggle he had with lust this way. He cried out to the heavens, “Give me chastity and holy desire; Only—not yet.”After the Confessions, Augustine's most important work, and one he labored on for 14 years is The City of God. This is arguably the climax of Christian Latin apologetics and became the blueprint for the Middle Ages.It began as a response to the Sack of Rome by the Goths in 410. Though Rome was no longer the capital of the Empire, it remained the enduring symbol of it. Pagans loudly protested Rome was sacked because the old gods were furious they'd been forsaken; thrown over for this new deity out of the Middle East name Jesus.Augustine began the work as a reply to this damning charge. It grew into a comprehensive philosophy of history; an eloquent apologetic for what would come to be known as the Providential View of History.Augustine posited 2 cities; One of the world, the other of Heaven. These 2 cities are the result of 2 kinds of love; the love of self and the love of God. It begins with a negative and apologetic part that attacks paganism and its claims against the Faith. The next section is positive and describes Augustine's philosophy of history. He describes the origin, progress and terminus of both cities. When I say “city” think society, for that is what Augustine meant.Such a description as this, and most others may make it appear Augustine posits the 2 cities as ever distinct. That's not the case; rather, they are, at least as they are manifest in the world, always confused and mixed; yet ever at odds.In earlier works, Augustine laid out a pattern for history as progressing from . . .Before the Law,Under Law,Under Grace,& In Peace. These corresponded to the individual believer's spiritual path as well. Augustine also charted 7 periods of history based on the Creation-week. Five of them fell under the Old Testament, one in the new, and the 7th was the Millennium, which in this earlier work he described as coming after Jesus' Return. But in The City of God, Augustine's idea of history was Amillennial. He cast the 1000 years of Rev 20 as symbolic either of the Church age or the ultimate summation of history. THAT view replaced the prior, literal millennial eschatology that had been the position of the Church to that time. The Amillennial position became the dominant view in Western Christianity thru the Middle Ages and beyond. The City of God is so noble in its treatment of theology and philosophy it's endured as a classic statement of Christians' views on a wide range of topics. Augustine treats with such subjects as rape, abortion, and suicide. Many historians consider Augustine the most important and influential Christian thinker from the Apostle Paul to the Reformers Luther and Calvin who both drew heavily from his work. When he became Bishop at Hippo, the Donatists still thrived in North Africa, in some places forming the majority. Augustine supported the Roman position against them.By way of review, the Donatists argued for a pure church, one led by bishops who'd not caved to persecution, recanted their faith, or surrendered Scriptures to be burned, then, when persecution passed, were allowed to return to their post. Rome said such lapsed bishops and priests could be restored. The Donatists said they could NOT and that any service they performed was invalid. The Donatists were deeply upset that the Bishop at Rome welcomed these lapsed priests back into their positions as leaders.Augustine argued against the Donatists, saying that according to Jesus' parable of the wheat and the tares, the Church was a mixed multitude; holding both the lost and saved. Now: I have to admit I'm at a loss to see how that justified allowing apostates to regain leadership positions in the church.Let's cast that in light of a far sometimes problem today. Should a pastor who commits adultery, and is caught in it, not from which he repents before being caught; should he be allowed back into his role as a pastor just because he breaks up with his mistress? For Augustine, the issue wasn't so much that these lapsed priests and bishops were allowed back into their roles; it was the question of whether or not their religious service held any efficacy for those they were served by; things like Communion and baptism.Augustine differed with the Donatists on the validity of these baptisms and communion served by lapsed priests. Donatists claimed an apostate had lost authority to administer these rites. Augustine said the moral and spiritual standing of a priest wasn't important, only that he be aware he bestowed God's grace on others by baptizing and serving communion. While no doubt many of us would agree that it isn't the moral excellence of the officiating minister that determines the value of communion and baptism, what surely some of our listeners will find difficult is the idea that a special grace is communicated BY a priest, through these rituals. You see, this brings us right up to a much later controversy that will surface during the Reformation. Do the sacraments convey grace or are they meant to be memorials that point to a historical event we renew our faith by? Notice I did NOT say, they are MERELY memorials, for that goes too far and misrepresents the position of the radical Reformers, But that is a subject for a much later episode.Augustine's argument at this point laid the foundation for the Roman Catholic Church's doctrine that an ordained priest becomes the channel of grace to church members. Next stop on that train is Sacramentalism and Sacerdotalism.Augustine's support of the Roman church and Bishop in the Donatist controversy included the use of force to suppress rivals and coerce them to accept church policy. In another example of his misuse of Scripture, he quoted Luke 14:23, wherein the parable of the banquet the host said: “Compel them to come in.” Augustine used this to justify forcing opponents to comply. This again seems an odd application of a passage that's self-explanatory. For the servants of the host didn't go out into streets and beat people; driving them with whips into the banquet. Now: I recognize the historic weight and significance assigned to Augustine of Hippo. He was a towering intellect who made a major contribution to Christian theology. There's no denying that. But there's much in his work that seems to some, and I am one, that is inconsistent, even contradictory. For instance, a moment ago I mentioned Augustine developed the hermeneutical principle of the Analogy of Faith, a rule he shatters by justifying the use of force to compel adherence to church policy by using Luke 14:23.Following his refutation of Donatism, Augustine turned his impressive intellectual attention to the teaching of a British monk named Pelagius. Pelagianism was a Christianized form of Greek stoicism. Pelagius said humans aren't sinners by nature; that they're free moral agents who become sinners by sinning and that it was possible to live without sin apart from the empowering of the Holy Spirit. Pelagius believed Jesus's death atoned for sins but that humans possessed the power in themselves to live holy lives. Augustine's own experience with sin proved Pelagius wrong and he argued forcefully against his ideas. Augustine said the entire human race was in Adam so that when he fell, all fell with him and sin passed to everyone. Sinners, Augustine argued, are not only saved by God's grace, but they're also kept by it and can only live God-honoring lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. He taught that God chooses only some to be saved and bestows this saving grace through the church by baptism and communion. This is another example of Augustine's confusing theology. He said only those who joined the visible church receive grace, then turned around and said salvation is a private matter between God and the individual. It was the former idea that laid the Roman Church's claim to being the sole agent of bestowing grace, and the later teaching that formed the Protestant Reformation's view of salvation. One has to wonder what Augustine thought the unmerited favor of grace was if joining a church, being baptized and taking communion acquired it.He helped develop the doctrine of purgatory and so emphasized the value of baptism and communion as means of bestowing grace that the false doctrines of baptismal regeneration and sacramentalism were logical outcomes of his views. As Augustine neared his final days, the Vandals who'd sacked Rome, crossed the Straits of Gibraltar and swept East to lay siege to Hippo. Two months into the siege Augustine died & a year later when the city finally fell, the Vandals entered to find everyone either dying or dead from hunger. Though they destroyed most of the city, out of respect for the renowned Augustine, they left his church intact.
