Was it a medical issue or carelessness? The 2009 Taconic State Parkway crash was a car crash that occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2009, on the Taconic State Parkway, New York, United States. Eight people were killed when a minivan, being driven by Diane Schuler, traveled in the wrong direction on the parkway and collided head-on with an oncoming SUV. 

In 1974, two men entered the Hi-Fi Audio Store in Ogden, Utah and held 5 people hostage in the basement. The rest of the story is shocking and unsettling to say the least. This is one of the most gruesome crimes in Utah and left Ogden shocked and bewildered that it would happen in their town. This is one of the most mind-bending abduction cases that you will ever hear about. A father of 7 children, kidnaps and holds his own daughter, Elizabeth, captive for 24 years in the basement of the family home, and no one has any idea. Welcome to Episode 10 of Murder Sandwich: A True Crime and Mystery Podcast! Today I am going to speaking about the Chicago Tylenol Murders that occurred in September of 1982. We go over their early life, their most famous cases and then some controversies as well. 

In our 8th episode of Murder Sandwich we talk about the Toy Box Killer aka. David Parker Ray! I am joined via zoom by one of my best friends who lives across the country - therefore the audio does sound a little bit different than usual. The Toy Box Killer is said to have tortured anywhere from 60-100 woman but unfortunately was only charged for three of them. 

In Episode 7 of Murder Sandwich: A True Crime & Mystery Podcast we discuss Ed Kemper III, a horrific serial killer that turned himself in after killing his mother in 1973. Sometimes named the Co-Ed Killer, Ed Kemper and his story was portrayed most recently in the first season of MindHunter which is available on Netflix, 

In Episode 6 of Murder Sandwich: A True Crime & Mystery Podcast, we chomp down on a famous killer clown whos legal name is John Wayne Gacy. John also liked to go by the names of Pogo or Patches the clown, if thats not frightening enough just wait till you hear the rest of his story. In three short years he murdered approximately 33 young men and buried them in an interesting spot a little bit too close to home. 

In Episode 5 of Murder Sandwich: A True Crime & Mystery Podcast, we discuss Mindy Tran who disappeared at 8-years old in my local town of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada in August of 1994.  This crime shook the community of Kelowna in the 1990's and was the talk of the town for years to follow due to the police work that took place, if we can call it police work.
