#craftbeer #boniver #michaeljordan We review the incredible drama that is America's top casual restaurant chains and why Applebees deserves worse. Also, director Zach Cregger is back with a creepy peek at his followup to Barbarian, Weapons, as well as a new live-action Resident Evil movie in the works. Speaking of horror, Ryan Gosling is apparently producing a remake of the beloved 80s sci-fi creeper, Killer Clowns from Outer Space. Finally, we end with a debate as old as time: who's the GOAT? With criticism being lobbed at Michael Jordan's claim, we discuss if Lebron went and ruined the fun for everyone. Cheers! Beer of the Week: Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. Horror is all about its franchises. Audiences love their old favorites so much that there is always a steady stream of news about the next possible legacy sequel. A Quiet Place is a new addition that has released two installments and a prequel. Each has done well but is a third one pushing their luck? There will never be a dearth of Stephen King adaptations to watch. He has an endless well of work for filmmakers to pull from. Even better, there is no need to make new movies when you can constantly remake the things that have already been done. Kind of like Netflix and Cujo.Over the years we have had the chance to cover some great stuff from SXSW. Just last year, Dead Mail ended up being one of our picks for our favorite movies of 2024. So it should come as no surprise that we were really looking forward to what the fest had to offer this year. And we got two good ones.Redux Redux is a revenge tale that takes place throughout the parallel universes. It sounds kinda goofy, but it works thanks to a grounded approach that avoids going too deep into the science fiction aspects. The character driven approach focuses pretty much exclusively on its two protagonists - for better and for worse. You never realize how poorly teenagers are written in movies until you see someone do a great job of it. Clown in the Cornfield has some of the best teenagers seen in movies in years. Thanks to a combination of great writing and strong performances, everything just seems natural. And even in the best movies surrounding younger characters, this is not always the case. The cast of Clown in the Cornfield stand out without overshadowing its story. But it is not the only thing the film has going for it. The plot is as wacky as the title suggests. There are over the top kills, lots of blood, and of course, a killer clown. Its predictability is part of its charm and it is an all around fun slasher. Adventures in Movies! is a part of the Morbidly Beautiful Podcast Network. Synopsis Terrifier 3 is a sweet hallmark-esk Christmas movie about a middle-class family working through the stress of the holiday season. Mom is bored with her suburban lifestyle and Dad is constantly tired at work because he keeps being woken up by sweet little Suzy who has crazy dreams when she has too much sugar before bed. Oh yeah, and a clown dressed as Santa possessed by the devil wielding an ax is there as well. In reality, terrifier 3 is the continuation of the Terrifier franchise featuring Art the Killer Clown. After resurrecting once again Art meets up with an old friend and begins a brand new killing spree. With Christmas just days away the hustle and bustle of holiday commercialism does a fantastic job of masking the fact that there is an eclectic killer dressed in bizarre mime clothes killing multiple people everywhere he goes in gruesome and disturbing ways. It's clear that Art is dead set on finding new and inventive ways to kill people and in this installment Art really goes for new territory. He's like the Luis and Clark of killing, he's just gotta map out that new lush land. Sienna from the last movie is back as well and trying to recover from her trauma but doesn't really have time to do that since she is about to experience trauma anew. Review Terrifier 3, terrifier 3. What more can be said about Terrifier 3 that has not yet been said. My utterance is yet a meager portion. For the true understanding lies in the viewing experience. I will never be able to explain this movie to you in a way that will give you the visceral experience I had in the theater watching flesh rip from bone. Maybe herein lies the perfect word to describe Terrifier 3. It separates. Skin from muscle. A lower jaw from the upper jaw. Left butt cheek from right butt cheek. Every way in which a body can be torn asunder, Terrifier 3 will separate. Separate the boys from the men. The weaklings from the strong. The feeble from the stable. And the queasy from the iron stomachs. I had a great time watching this disgusting movie. However, I won't pretend it was a perfect movie. It was pretty predictable. I knew Art would kill people and that Art killing people would take up a significant portion of the runtime, most of which doesn't add much to the actual plot. But hey, that's just terrifier baby. Score 8/10

We discuss this niche largely unknown clown horror Stiches starring northern comedian Ross Noble. So grab your red noses, create your own blown up balloon made from a human head and makes sure to keep your self on the boil because the Cast me To Hell Boys are hitting summer with a sadly unknown clown to bring the humour and the slashing. Attacked by John Wayne Gacy, Molested as a Child He Tells The Story. As a child, he barely survived being attacked and molested by serial killer John Wayne Gacy during a family vacation at a Wisconsin lake. At age 8, he was assaulted by a teenager, later realizing it was John Wayne Gacy after seeing news reports in Chicago. Listen to this for free in Apple Podcasts, Spotify, our website or most major podcast platforms. By coincidence, he lived near Gacy's infamous murder house. John Wayne Gacy (March 17, 1942 – May 10, 1994) was one of America's most notorious serial killers and sex offenders. Operating in Norwood Park Township near Chicago, Illinois, Gacy raped, tortured, and murdered at least 33 young men and boys between 1972 and 1978. His sinister acts earned him the moniker "Killer Clown," a reference to his public performances as "Pogo the Clown" at children's parties and charity events. Attacked by John Wayne Gacy, Molested as a Child He Tells The Story. We are all over social media we are on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, MeWe, Pinterest and other outlets to get the news and latest episodes. Gacy's modus operandi was chillingly consistent. He would lure victims to his ranch-style house, often under the guise of offering them construction work through his contracting business. Once inside, Gacy would trick his victims into putting on handcuffs, claiming he wanted to demonstrate a magic trick. This ruse quickly turned into a nightmare as Gacy subjected his captives to brutal rape and torture before ultimately killing them. His preferred methods of murder were asphyxiation or strangulation with a garrote. The disposal of Gacy's victims was equally horrifying. He buried 26 bodies in the crawl space beneath his home, three elsewhere on his property, and discarded four in the nearby Des Plaines River. The scale and brutality of his crimes shocked the nation when they came to light. Attacked by John Wayne Gacy, Molested as a Child He Tells The Story. Prior to his killing spree, Gacy had already shown signs of dangerous behavior. In 1968, he was convicted of sodomy in Waterloo, Iowa, and sentenced to ten years in prison. However, he served only eighteen months before being released on parole, a decision that would have tragic consequences. David, a survivor of an encounter with Gacy, shares a harrowing tale of narrowly escaping the killer's grasp. As a child vacationing with his family at a Wisconsin lake, David was attacked by a teenage Gacy. This traumatic experience had a profound impact on his life, compounded later by his service in Vietnam. Attacked by John Wayne Gacy, Molested as a Child He Tells The Story. Listen to this for free in Apple Podcasts, Spotify, our website or most major podcast platforms. In his recollections, David details how these events deeply affected his personal relationships and mental health. He speaks candidly about the challenges he faced in rebuilding his life in the aftermath of such trauma. Despite the obstacles, David eventually found success as a real estate investor, focusing on property flipping. Seeking to process his experiences and share his story, David authored the book "Hike Around The Lake." This fictionalized novel draws heavily from his own life, incorporating dramatic elements to explore themes of survival, trauma, and resilience. Through his writing, David offers insight into the long-lasting effects of violence and the human capacity for healing and growth. Attacked by John Wayne Gacy, Molested as a Child He Tells The Story. Follow us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, our website, Facebook, and Instagram for the latest episodes and news. David's story, spanning from his childhood encounter with a future serial killer to his struggles and ultimate triumphs, serves as a powerful testament to the human spirit. It highlights the complex journey of trauma survivors and the various paths to recovery and success they may take. Colonial Metals Group, helps with the goal of protecting your financial future. On the morning of May 26, 1990, 40-year-old Marlene Warren answered the door of her upscale Wellington, Florida home to find a person dressed as a clown holding a flower arrangement and two balloons. As Marlene reached out for the gifts, the clown shot her in the face, leaving Marlene gasping for air on the floor as the clown calmly walked back to a white Chrysler LeBaron and drove away. While Marlene was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, a massive manhunt for the clown began. And as the investigation unfolded, it was revealed that Marlene had expressed fears that her husband, Michael Warren, was going to kill her. However, the police would soon find out Michael couldn't be the killer—he'd been with a friend when Marlene was shot. But, as the investigation continued, disturbing information about Michael's possible connections to the murder began to surface. We start with a recap of SkeptiCamp New Mexico, then move on to a laundry list of creepy, crawly creatures: Alex Jones, flying Joro spiders, bug zappers, opposite snakes and Sasquatch Sunset. Our main topic is an update to one of the cases in Ben's "Bad Clowns" book. The West Palm Beach Killer Clown case involves a love triangle, a clown costume, and a pile of circumstantial evidence. It sat with no arrests for nearly 30 years, until Sheila Keen-Warren was arrested in 2017. Among the developments as prosecutors and defense lawyers prepared for trial was a so-called "clown sighting file," with some 25 pages of clowns that came to the attention of law enforcement -- no doubt many such sightings took place during the infamous "clown panic" that occurred around the time of Keen-Warren's arrest. Whether the choice to don a clown suit and makeup to commit murder stemmed from practical advice from a lawyer, or malicious ostension, the sensational news coverage and public's continual interest in this "killer clown" case likely is the reason Keen-Warren was finally brought to justice.
Lawyer for serial killer John Wayne Gacy, Karen Conti, will delve into what it was like to talk one-on-one with Gacy and why she decided to defend someone, who many consider pure evil.
Retired FBI agent and criminal profiler Candice DeLong breaks down the seminal case of John Wayne Gacy. Known as the "Killer Clown," Gacy murdered thirty-three boys and young men, burying the majority of them under his house. Candice digs into Gacy's abusive childhood, a domineering father and internalized homophobia to understand how he became one of the most famous serial killers of all time.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

John Wayne Gacy is one of the worst serial killers in American history, murdering at least 33 teenage boys and men in the late 1970s. He was executed by lethal injection in 1994, but many are confident he killed even more victims than the ones he admitted to, and took plenty more secrets to the grave. We're closing out anniversary week with an episode on a heavily requested scumbag, the Killer Clown himself, John Wayne Gacy. Gacy had a real shitty childhood, and unlike what a decent person would do, he decided to make this everyone else's problem too. So he ran around just raping and murdering, murdering and raping. Everybody already knows the broad strokes of this dude's shitty life, but we still found a few surprises for ya along the way talking about it. Enjoy!
This week, in Wellington, Florida, a happy, successful woman is met at her front door by a clown, with flowers, and balloons. The clown also had a gun, and uses it to murder this woman, in front of her family, before the clown slips off into the world. Despite a mountain of circumstantial evidence, and a very suspicious sounding husband, this case goes cold, for years? Did they ever find this killer clown?? Along the way, we find out that Palm Beach county is horse country, that it's hard to tell an identity through clown makeup, and that no one needs any more reasons to hate clowns!!Hosted by James Pietragallo and Jimmie WhismanNew episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports!
