As the Podquesters finish off the last of the elemental cultists they are approached by the the sinister group’s loathsome leader “Lokenon”. The same being Seraph Wraithfield (David Budziszewski) saw cast out by Helm. To make matters worse, Lokenon has brought with him a band of loyal Drow bent on making sure that our heroes never leave this battlefield alive.
While mid-battle against a hoard of enemies, David Budziszewski decides to engage fellow Podquesters Julie Kline and Andy Bisaha in a moral debate; on whether it's acceptable to spare a cultist, if they are cute. In this episode of our D&D comedy show, the Podquesters continue their rumble in the temple. Andy discovers when he dons his Very Fine Mustache, he channels the spirit of Sam Elliot. Sarah decides shades make her look rad and she is not wrong. David tells the tale of how he discovered a front for the mob and waits a half hour there before leaving. Living life like that could get ya whacked, but oh well. Julie continues to roll the dice and show how much of boss she is. Cory finally plays his class right and stays in the back raining down damage. It’s a full on battle clearing out these enemies, but many questions remain in this game of Dungeons & Dragons. With our party temporarily one player down, we decided to take a break from Dungeons and Dragons and play one of our favorite board games, Munchkin. Andy purchased the Warhammer 40K Edition to try out, even though he knows next to nothing about the franchise except that it looks awesome. Who will will in this battle of a cute take on a hardcore franchise?
The Podquesters play live at Motor City Comic Con. While Neshima is away, the Podquesters will play.
