    Mike K From Glendale, Oregon is Sober since November 11th 1996His journey with 12 step recovery began in Al-anon in 1976 After a twelve step call with Roy K he Started a local SA meeting in his house in 1987, which then moved to a church in 1988 and is still going strong.

    Jeff D is a grateful recovering Sexaholic sober since September the first 1996 which also happens to be his marriage anniversary. Jeff has been very involved in his home groups throughout the years. Nicknamed Karate Jeff by some due to various karate demonstrations at retreats and a local meeting at the dojo, Jeff brings a humor and freshness to his recovery thats plain for all to see.

    Michael D is 79 years old. He joined AA in 1978, escaping Chicago alive, but didn't get sober until 1989. At 10 years sober from alcohol his AA sponsor sent him to SA. He has done a lot service work, serving as a Trustee among other positions. He is still and always will be an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Today he visits jails working with addicts and spends much of his time working with newcomers.

    William is 73 years old.  He currently has been a member of the SA fellowship for 28 years.  His sobriety date is June 12th, 1993.  His wife is very supportive of his program.  She once said,  “William has tried and tested the program and found it to be the solution.”  They have been living in the Pacific Northwest for the last 24 years.  William has served in various service positions at the local, regional, national, and international levels.  He loves the “fellowship” of the program and has done many different activities with other members including traveling in teams to Guatemala and Russia, eating out with members after meetings, going hiking or boating, spending the night in the home of his sponsor or sponsees, and hosting fellowship events for members and their spouses in his own home. He was actively involved in the SACFC for five years, helping to re-establish carrying the message to those who have faced legal consequences for their sexaholism.  He considers those five years to be some of the most rewarding years of his life.

    Dave H. from Franklin, TN is sober since joining the fellowship on August 1st 1985. He came in originally while in Rochester, NY as a married but separated man at the age of 33.  He moved to Detroit in January 1986 and attended another S-fellowship until he helped start SA in January 1987.  He divorced in 1987, moving to the Nashville, TN area in 1988 and remained single and sober until remarrying in August 1996.

    Nicholas S got sober on 12 April 1995, shortly before discovering SA. He has served at all levels of the fellowship, from Group through to the Board of Trustees and back. He led the formation of the European and Middle East Region and pioneered what later became the SA Internet Marathon (SIM). He regularly leads workshops in which SA members complete the 12 Steps in 10 hours. He has three children plus seven grandchildren and lives in the North of England.

    Priscilla is sober since Feb 7th 1993. At 45 years old after 2 years in therapy the insanity of the addiction struck again after a work colleague contacted her asking her to come over and watch a basketball game.  It didn't end well.  The next day she called her therapist and went in to share.   He suggested she read a book on sexual addiction.  The following week, at his suggestion, she went to her first meeting and the rest is history.

    Mitch is 60, and married to his lovely wife, for 38 years. In recovery, they have raised two daughters. He has worked as a Math teacher for 30 years. He has been a member of the local Black Catholic Church for 34 years and sings in the gospel choir with his daughter. He is sober in AA for 41 years and humbly claims 35 years of sobriety in SA rooted in progressive victory over lust and a continuing spiritual awakening.

    Lee T. is 72 years old and was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He lived and was educated there until the age of 22. Married in 1970, they are still married today after 50 years. Lee went to medical school in Nashville and practiced internal medicine until retiring in 2013. They live in Nashville part time  and in the Smoky Mountains part time. Lee's SA recovery began in May 1986 when there were only six or seven members of SA in the city of Nashville and surrounding areas.

    Harvey A. is the longest sober, male member of Sexaholics Anonymous. Harvey turned 81 in 2021. He got sober in AA on August 8th 1983 and then joined SA on March 8th, 1984 which is still Harvey's SA sobriety date to this day. Harvey and his wife have traveled the globe spreading the message of SA, and his passion for recovery has inspired and captivated sexaholics worldwide. Harvey and his wife have now retired to Florida after many years of service in Nashville.Sitting with Harvey was an enlightening experience, I learnt so much.     David M. first attended Sexaholics Anonymous on August 2, 1988 in Nashville, Tennessee USA. That remains his sobriety date, one day at a time. While his reason for attending was to avoid another divorce and loss of family, he stayed because of the freedom and serenity he finds in 12 Step recovery. He has been actively involved in service work at the local and international levels, including setting out our International Office in Tennessee and working extensively on our literature. He and his wife now live in Portland, Oregon USA.I sat down for a fireside chat with David M. and it was truly inspiring.
