    Pav Singh, author of "1984 India's Guilty Secret", stops by to chat about his understanding and work on exposing the 1984 Genocide by the Indian Government towards the Sikhs.  Following the assassination of sitting PM Indira Gandhi by her two Sikh bodyguards (Bawant & Satwant Singh), the streets of Delhi and India erupted into violence.     This week we’re joined by Nav, Kiran and Pri the team behind Apneh in Football, who share their emotional journey of discovery and the positive effect football can have in some of the most vulnerable communities in India.Nav (The Football Scientist) has built a career behind the scenes in elite football but his drive to carry out Sewa (selfless service) saw him enlist Kiran and Pri for a trip to YUWA school (Jharkhand, India). The lads share the relationships they built and the talent on display.While Nav lead elite coaching sessions for the girls, Pri was busy interviewing and delving into the girls stories, and Kiran was there to capture the stills.     Simi and Mona (mother and daughter) discuss the breakdown of Simi’s traditional arranged marriage. Simi (well educated and attractive) should have been the perfect match for her successful new husband, but even as early as her wedding night, she became wary of her husbands dependency on Marijuana. Simi details a 15 year period of domestic abuse and drug addiction set in an affluent Surrey suburb. However, Simi goes into detail about how she was able to escape and build a successful, happy, healthy life after the abuse.  Mona her daughter provides her perspective on how her parents relationship effected her, from court appearances to her own abusive relationship. This story is one all too familiar to many women.
