A few days ago SIMON and MRS. C learned about an Iowa veteran that had passed away and would have no family at his funeral. We were asked to spread the word so the first call we made was to our friend LANAE STROVERS, founder of The Final Salute, and then we put the call out to our listeners all across the state for people to attend Jack's service. Well, today Jack Hayes was laid to rest and 300 Iowans showed up! SIMON and LANAE talk about the beautiful site of so many Iowans showing up for Jack.
