Today Hayden and Lottie discussed the ins and outs of caring for a rescued, indoor, vegan cat. This episode is in honour of our beautiful cat Ceci!  We outlined reasons to try switching your cat to a vegan diet and discussed ways to do that safely. More info can be found below:  Sustainable Pet Food: https://sustainablepetfood.info (especially 'FAQs' and 'Vegetarian Feline Diets'.) Their 'Sustainability' page also shows that feeding your cat or dog a diet of animal flesh has a large environmental impact: "About 25-30% of the environmental impact of livestock production within the US are attributable to dog and cat diets"! r/veganpets subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/veganpets Both the Sustainable Pet Food website and r/veganpets link to studies about a vegan diet being healthy for cats Previous Freedom of Species episodes: "Vegan Dogs & Cats / Human Population" (from 25:30) "VegePets"  Vegan pet food brands: https://veganpet.com.au/product-category/vegan-cat-food/ https://www.benevo.com/ https://www.amipetfood.com/en In Australia Vegan Pet can be bought from the website above, and Benevo and Ami can be bought here: https://www.vpets.com.au/product-category/vegan-cat/vegan-cat-food/  How to brush your cat's teeth: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3dBySVcgIYI  We discussed the benefits of keeping your cat indoors and options for safe outdoor access.  Reasons to keep cats indoors: https://www.catster.com/lifestyle/reasons-to-keep-cats-indoors/ How to keep an indoor car happy: https://www.catster.com/cat-health-care/how-to-keep-an-indoor-cat-happy/  We urged people to adopt cats from shelters instead of from breeders. 260 healthy cats and dogs without homes are killed everyday in Australia. Breeders of all sizes and types have welfare concerns: https://www.animaljusticeparty.org/companion_animals  While we recommend keeping your cat indoors, we don't agree with killing outdoor cats, and are sceptical of the benefits of mandatory containment laws.     The Dying Trade is the debut documentary film by animal rights activist and YouTuber Jack Hancock-Fairs. It explores the meat industry through the deeply personal lens of the filmmaker's relationship with his father, who is a slaughterhouse worker.   The documentary has earned high praise and award nominations for its balanced take on a highly polarising topic. Instead of relying on typical "preachy" activist tropes, the film centres on understanding and bridging the gap between individuals holding completely different ethical views. (Source: Plant Based News).    We chat about the focus of the film and how it represents the existence of slaughterhouses and the people who work in them, and consider this through an abolitionist lens. The quote from "To Kill a Mockingbird"  by Nelle Harper Lee in which Atticus tells Scout: “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Donny Fandango set out with one goal: raise $53,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities...and then proceeded to absolutely crush it. The crew recaps the incredible Radiothon, the huge donations, the emotional moments, and—because this is The Rizzuto Show—the bizarre auction prizes everyone agreed to while Rizz was unconscious after wisdom tooth surgery.Speaking of surgery, Rizz shares the surprisingly abrupt experience of getting knocked out for his wisdom tooth extraction. No dramatic countdown. No floating through space. Just "What are your hobbies?" and instant blackout. The gang compares anesthesia stories, post-surgery meals, and why hydrocodone apparently turns Rizz into a man convinced invisible bugs are crawling on him.Lern makes her very first Facebook Marketplace purchase. What should have been a simple $35 weight bench somehow becomes an FBI-level covert operation involving porch pickups, Venmo timing, getaway driving, and apologizing to Ring doorbells. The crew debates Korean BBQ versus Brazilian steakhouses, discusses the strategy of "beating the house" at all-you-can-eat restaurants, admits to suffering from the legendary meat sweats, and somehow turns dipping sauces into a competitive sport. As if things weren't chaotic enough, Yellowstone provides one of the wildest viral videos of the week when an agitated bison launches a grandfather several feet into the air after a campsite encounter. The crew breaks down exactly what happened, why wildlife deserves way more personal space than tourists seem willing to give it, and why surviving a bison toss wasn't even the only animal-related headline making newsDanny McBride is writing a brand-new G.I. Joe movie. That's enough to send every child of the '80s and '90s into a nostalgic spiral, so naturally the gang spends way too much time debating what made the original cartoons great, why the previous movies never quite landed, and whether nostalgia is actually making a comeback or if we're all just getting old.Chef Liz from Tenacious Eats rolls into the studio with a full Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed dinner preview... and an actual Michelangelo joins the show. Suddenly we're talking Jim Henson costumes, pizza, arcade cabinets, Foot Clan hideouts, movie trivia, and enough food to make every listener immediately hungry. Then it's time for Crap on Celebrities, where Jay-Z shatters Yankee Stadium records with an unbelievable three-night concert event featuring an all-star lineup that somehow keeps getting bigger. Billy Corgan pitches a dream Smashing Pumpkins Sphere residency, The Rock refuses to give up on his Broadway dreams with Kevin Hart, and Hollywood keeps rebooting everything whether we asked for it or not.The gang also dives into blockbuster movie rumors, Batman casting speculation, Hunger Games returning to theaters, Michael Jackson's record-breaking biopic, American Horror Story returning to its witchy roots, and why Love Island somehow managed to hijack everyone's television. There are passionate debates about depressing movies, surprisingly heartfelt tributes to entertainment legends, and several moments where everyone completely loses the plot.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.Tourist Seriously Injured After Yellowstone Bison Launches Man 8 Feet In The AirBull gores runner in the face at Spain's San Fermin bull run festival, 12 others hurtRyanair passenger partially sucked out of window on flight from GreeceOklahoma woman, the last American in an iron lung, dies at 78Palm Harbor woman arrested for threatening to kill man, says ‘that's just what girls do': deputiesSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Every new donation means another round of audio torture, and somehow everyone keeps asking for more.Donny shares his surprisingly emotional quest for an Egg McMuffin before sunrise, the crew debates whether getting knocked out during dental surgery is worth the money, and everyone relives some absolutely horrifying dentist stories that might make you cancel your next appointment.Moon shares an unbelievable backstage story involving Tool drummer Danny Carey that nearly ended with someone's tour manager becoming a permanent stage decoration, while the gang also celebrates legendary rock bands, debates AC/DC eras, laughs through Conway Twitty requests, and somehow manages to keep an entire RadioThon moving while Riz recovers at home looking like an angry chipmunk.Along the way you'll hear incredible generosity from listeners supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities, hilarious business plugs, ridiculous inside jokes, and the kind of spontaneous moments that make this daily comedy podcast feel like hanging out with your funniest friends every morning.Whether you're here for the music stories, the Big Dog madness, the charity event, or simply to hear Donny survive one of the weirdest mornings in show history, this episode delivers nonstop laughs with a whole lot of heart. Thanks for supporting another daily comedy podcast from The Rizzuto Show. Happy Hump Day! There are celebrity weddings... there are relationship disasters... and then there are mornings where The Rizzuto Show somehow manages to cram both into one completely ridiculous daily comedy show.Happy Hump Day! The gang turns an ordinary Wednesday into two-and-a-half hours of relationship debates, questionable life choices, bizarre internet conspiracies, celebrity chaos, weird news, and enough sarcastic commentary to make your therapist schedule a follow-up appointment.Rizz kicks things off by preparing for wisdom tooth surgery while the crew campaigns to revive one of the show's most legendary Radiothon traditions. Naturally, that conversation immediately spirals into fundraising, public roasting, and debating exactly how much money it would take to humiliate someone for a good cause.Technology doesn't fare much better. Rizz accidentally ignores his wife thanks to his Meta smart glasses, proving that answering a phone call during a romantic walk is a surprisingly effective way to lose Husband of the Year honors. That launches a conversation about wearable tech, modern relationships, and whether our gadgets are helping us stay connected—or just creating brand-new ways to get into trouble.Relationship Court officially returns with listener dilemmas involving blended families, difficult exes, parenting, teenage ultimatums, postpartum anxiety, expensive concert tickets, and whether friends are actually obligated to sacrifice their own plans when someone else's night takes an emotional turn. As always, everyone has an opinion, nobody agrees, and somebody inevitably gets roasted.Of course, no morning would be complete without one of the internet's greatest relationship debates. A woman considers ending her relationship because her boyfriend's obsession with potato chips has completely taken over his life. Three bags a day. Crumbs everywhere. Finger dust. Hidden snack stashes. McDonald's instead of local cuisine while traveling overseas. Somehow this turns into one of the funniest—and weirdly most divisive—conversations of the day.Meanwhile, Rafe unveils a brand-new game, Swifty or Shifty, challenging everyone to separate real Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding stories from completely fabricated internet nonsense. Before long, the crew is debating celebrity wedding conspiracies, impossible reception menus, sports legends, billionaire wedding budgets, and whether chicken nuggets topped with caviar should ever exist. Confidence is mandatory. Accuracy is optional. The celebrity chaos keeps rolling as the gang reacts to one of the most unintentionally hilarious concert moments ever, when Paul Stanley delivers an emotional tribute before immediately launching into one of KISS's most awkward song transitions imaginable. From there, the conversation bounces into Green Day's latest music, Sammy Hagar reuniting with Jason Bonham, David Lee Roth's unforgettable Spanish-language album, Harold & Kumar 4, Britney Spears' upcoming biopic, Ali G's return, Jeopardy! hiring clue writers, and The Rock's continued quest to prove he's a dramatic actor. Then it's time for a healthy dose of gaming nostalgia. The crew debates Collider's greatest video games of all time, argues over GoldenEye, Grand Theft Auto, Halo, Pac-Man, Doom, and whether today's players will ever truly own their games again as PlayStation continues moving toward a digital-only future. As if things couldn't get stranger, a Missouri man gets arrested while proudly wearing the promotional T-shirt from the very bail bonds company that had recently gotten him out of jail. That unbelievable mugshot sparks one of the day's most unexpectedly fascinating conversations as the crew dives into how bail bonds, bounty hunters, collateral, and the legal system actually work—complete with Rafe's unforgettable Current River stories and a reminder that showing up for court is generally considered a good idea.Along the way you'll hear conversations about smart glasses, travel compatibility, embarrassing eating habits, floating Missouri rivers, celebrity gossip, rock history, video game nostalgia, weird news, family dynamics, movie trivia, pop culture, listener dilemmas, and plenty of classic Rizz Show tangents where nobody remembers how the conversation started—but everyone is glad it happened anyway.Whether you're here for ridiculous listener stories, celebrity gossip, bizarre internet theories, hilarious fails, or just listening to friends derail every topic imaginable, this daily comedy show delivers exactly the unpredictable chaos you've come to expect from The Rizzuto Show. Thanks for hanging out with us. If today's episode taught us anything, it's that relationships are complicated, potato chips are apparently controversial, celebrity wedding conspiracies have officially gone too far, and maybe don't wear your bail bonds T-shirt for your next mugshot. If you laughed, argued with your speakers, immediately Googled Paul Stanley's awkward stage banter, or started questioning your own snack habits, mission accomplished.Be sure to subscribe and never miss another episode of your favorite daily comedy show.A Marketing Boon For Bail Bonds Business‘Snake the Bigfoot Hunter' claims he unearthed scientific proof of Sasquatch — and DNA shows it's part humanHazelwood snack bar factory to close, lay off hundreds of employeesFollow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Happy Hump Day! The gang somehow turns an ordinary Wednesday into two-and-a-half hours of relationship debates, questionable life choices, technology gone wrong, and enough sarcastic commentary to make your therapist schedule a follow-up appointment.Rizz kicks things off by preparing for wisdom tooth surgery while the crew campaigns to bring back one of the show's most legendary traditions during the upcoming Radiothon. That quickly spirals into stories about rage, fundraising, and just how much money it might take to convince someone to publicly roast the entire building. Then things get personal when Rizz accidentally ignores his wife thanks to his Meta smart glasses. Turns out answering a phone call in the middle of a romantic walk isn't exactly husband of the year material. The crew dives into whether wearable tech is making us more connected—or just better at accidentally getting ourselves into trouble.Relationship Court is officially back in session as the show tackles one impossible situation after another. Is it fair to walk away from someone because their teenage daughter refuses to accept the relationship? Are ultimatums ever a good idea? The crew debates blended families, difficult exes, parenting, and whether some problems simply can't be fixed. As if that wasn't enough, another internet relationship story sends everyone into hysterics when a woman considers dumping her boyfriend...because of his absolutely unhinged obsession with potato chips. Three bags a day. Crumbs everywhere. McDonald's instead of local cuisine on an international vacation. Finger dust. Bag popping. Hidden snack stashes. Somehow this becomes one of the funniest—and surprisingly most divisive—conversations of the morning. The chaos keeps rolling with another listener dilemma involving a Megan Moroney concert, postpartum anxiety, and whether friends are obligated to abandon expensive tickets when someone's night takes an emotional turn. The opinions are passionate, the sarcasm is plentiful, and nobody escapes without getting roasted at least once.Later, the crew stumbles across one of the greatest mugshots ever taken after a Missouri man is arrested while proudly wearing the promotional T-shirt from the very bail bonds company that had recently gotten him out of jail. That bizarre story launches an unexpectedly fascinating deep dive into how bail bonds, bounty hunters, collateral, and the entire system actually works—complete with Rafe's unforgettable stories from floating the Current River and learning firsthand why you always show up for court in Van Buren.Along the way you'll hear conversations about travel compatibility, vacation red flags, embarrassing eating habits, smart glasses, family dynamics, floating rivers in Missouri, classic Rizz Show tangents, and plenty of moments where the crew completely forgets how they got onto the current topic in the first place. It's exactly the kind of unpredictable nonsense you've come to expect from your favorite daily comedy show—real conversations, ridiculous news, and just enough life advice to accidentally help someone while making everyone else laugh. Thanks for hanging out with us.
