Have you ever felt out of touch with your body, not really knowing what to consume in order for you to feel (really) good? In our current western medicine system, we have developed many ways to look at how to treat diseases, yet we rarely ask the question of why the dis-ease was able to manifest in the first place. On this episode I'm speaking to Prerna, For her it has been an life-altering journey, from burning the candle at both ends living a fast-paced NYC modern life - getting sicker and sicker with different ailments and no-one able to explain why she wasn't getting better, to retiring in a clinic in India with Ayurvedic doctors, experiencing a type of re-birth in her entire being. Ayurveda is a game-changer, a +thousand-year old medicinal system that was developed around India. It looks at our entire health, and as more & more westerners return to it - we are starting to see how far away we have been from source.

How often do you feel in-tune with your intuition, with your body? Where we are so used to navigating this world through utilizing our minds, our thinking space, it is but all too easy to lose touch with the infinite intelligence that the body holds. For those among us that harbor a womb (whether physically and/or energetically), this is especially true - we get to work with a wisdom that can create life and at the same time, this space is capable hosting our memories, our emotions. What do we get when we bring these 2 together? A bloody powerful tool for empowerment and transmutation. This is where Isadora Spearwoman (www.wombseedwisdom.com) comes in, a doula / (womb)spiral practicioner / female liberations' warrior. I've personally had the opportunity to work with her on the womb-spiral journey and it has and still is bringing me home in the sacred body from which I can share her work with you. Honored to be part of this movement is an understatement.

Reiki; among practitioners and patients it is recognized as a Universal energy that truly anyone has access to when channelled correctly. Coming from Japan and becoming more and more popular in the west over the last decade, this form of healing has certainly shifted my own outlook on energy. As Marcia states on her website: 'It is a non-invasive & gentle, yet profoundly powerful healing modality that brings the body into deep states of parasympathetic activation and relaxation where your body does it's best healing on all layers. It is hard to define, and many have ranging experiences. Some are life-altering, some merely experience feel a vague sensation. Once again we find ourselves on the precipice of what is science, and what is spiritual. Truth is hard to define when it comes to energetic subtle energies. The biggest unique quality is that the healer can be on another continent from the patient whilst in session. Will you dare to try?

When you think about spirits or even better, ghosts, what comes up for you? I remember first getting in touch with channeling and you could say I carried a verrrrry potent dose of skeptisism. The movies that I'd seen (movies like the Sixth Sense, The Excorcist, Paranormal Activity) all had a big part to play in how thought about the other realm. Now, partly through Nicole's down-to-earth way of teaching, I understand there is much more that meets my previous understanding of spirits. This episode dives into exactly the things that we cannot know by our 5 senses, but we can start understanding through our intuition. Nicole is a shaminic priestess, a medium and a teacher that lives in The Netherlands, and in this episode she helps us understand what mediumship is, how we can know it's not something that just takes advantage of people in mourning, and how to start working with it ourselves. That dose of skepticism? Still there. Only now it doesn't block my expansion anymore. If navigated properly, it gets to fuel our curiosity. When we are children, it seems like creativity is all around us. We imagine, we play, we pretend and create the strangest worlds. As we get to pick his brain on creating magic, we find out that luckily, there are many ways in which we can learn to come back to that creativity.

It can be misleading; this tantric word of Feminine Energy that refers to a (very important) way of how we treat ourselves and the world around us. When this energy is in balance, we are kind, loving, creative, no matter what the circumstances. When out of balance, we are left feeling numb to our emotions and our expressions, or our emotions are running the show in how we treat the world around us. In this episode I talk to Katharina of Wild Goddess Tribe; a female embodiment coach that focusses almost solely on the incorporation of the energy that is said to be our inner creator, our guide towards living in flow and the incubator of love. But if feminine energy is not directly linked to having a vagina, what does it entail? And how can the incorporation of it improve your life? Get a glimpse of the spiritual practice claiming to balance out our emotions and makes us love life with a passion.

Freud theorized that hypnosis weakens the barrier between the conscious and subconscious, so how can this be applied to helping us lead a more fulfilling life? Hypno(tic)therapy is a form of therapy that challenges the western world's idea of what therapy can look like. According to studies conducted in the 70's, Hypnosis has a better success rate than any other type of therapy, but this data is challenged by more modern studes; stating that it heavily depends on the type of therapy the client is looking for. Whether this is quitting smoking, losing weight or healing inner trauma. As with all spiritual practices, not one shoe fits all, but when it does fit.. Tune in to find out whether Hypnotherapy might just be thing for you.
