Driven from lands farther north by more powerful dragons, a young white dragon has descended upon the Sword Mountains, claiming the snow-capped range as its domain. The dragon has displaced many creatures that once lived on these mountains, throwing the surrounding peoples and settlements into disarray. Lately, the dragon itself has been seen patrolling the skies over its new home and the citizens of Phandalin grow increasingly weary of attacks. Hearing of this news, Corso Valenthorne, a young entrepreneur from Neverwinter decided to move to Phandalin and form what he calls "The Dragon Defense Force". He has sent out flyers and spread the word that he will be leading the defense of the area surrounding the Sword Mountains with his newly founded order, and that his new order is accepting recruits! In this episode, our adventurers, the high elf Tobi Shadowleaf, the hill dwarf Ozzie Giantstone, and the warforged known only as Pierce weave their backstories together and set out to join the Dragon Defense Force.
