In an effort to go chronologically through the years, Sully starts out by pointing out the overlap of the boys time on campus at UD, and asks Dev all the important questions about his first year, and the transition of going from a Brian Gregory recruit, to a mainstay of the program under Archie Miller. Dev goes in depth about his mentality as a player while on campus, and how the first few years of disappointment ultimately led to the historic Elite 8 run in 2014.
From July 19, 2019, Kyle Davis joins Sully and Drew to talk about his time playing for the Flyers. The path starts with how he ended up in Dayton with Scoochie and Kendall Pollard, before Kyle explains how great it was to be in the supporting cast for the Elite 8. In an effort to go chronologically through his career, Sully asks him about the details of the First Four game in 2015, and how difficult it was to persevere in that season with seven guys. The back half of the show covers his final two years on campus. Some profanity-laced Archie Miller stories are shared, disappointment of how it all ended for this class is touched upon, but ultimately we're reminded that every game is a rivalry, and that the other team wants to win too.
Sully sits down, 1-on-1, with Brooks Hall, UD shooting guard from 1999-2003. The boys discuss all the things about Brooks' career - including his recruitment, the sanctions imposed on UD, his freshman year in the NCAA tournament, as well as his final game in a Flyers uniform...also in the NCAA Tournament. Brooks reminds the listeners that he will also be a Dayton boy, and talks about how his years as a Flyer set the tone for the program for the years that followed.
