Welcome to TBT family. It is time to recap, the month of April. We're gonna get into all of the clips and everything that went on this month, moving into next month, which is mother's month.

VOV1 - Nhân dịp kỷ niệm Ngày Giải phóng miền Nam, thống nhất đất nước 30.4 và Ngày Quốc tế Lao động 1.5, hôm qua 27/4, TBT, CTN Tô Lâm đã đến thăm, gặp gỡ, trò chuyện với công nhân, người lao động TP. HCM, thể hiện sự quan tâm, sẻ chia đầy trách nhiệm của người đứng đầu Đảng, Nhà nước với công nhân.Đảng và Nhà nước ta luôn xác định giai cấp công nhân là lực lượng rất quan trọng trong sự nghiệp xây dựng và bảo vệ Tổ quốc. Từ những năm tháng đấu tranh giành độc lập dân tộc đến công cuộc xây dựng và bảo vệ Tổ quốc, công nhân luôn là một trong những lực lượng nòng cốt, góp phần làm nên những bước ngoặt lịch sử của dân tộc.Bước vào thời kỳ đổi mới, vai trò ấy tiếp tục được khẳng định trên một mặt trận khác: mặt trận kinh tế. Hiện nước ta có hơn 17 triệu công nhân, trong đó gần 4 triệu người làm việc trong các khu công nghiệp, khu chế xuất. Khu vực công nghiệp - xây dựng đóng góp trên 35% GDP, kim ngạch xuất khẩu duy trì ở mức trên 350 tỷ USD mỗi năm.Không khó để nhận ra, phía sau những con số ấn tượng ấy là hàng triệu người công nhân đang ngày đêm làm việc trong các nhà máy, dây chuyền sản xuất. Họ chính là những người giữ nhịp cho nền kinh tế, giúp Việt Nam trở thành mắt xích quan trọng trong chuỗi cung ứng toàn cầu.Nhưng cũng cần nhìn thẳng: tốc độ cải thiện đời sống của công nhân đang có dấu hiệu chậm hơn tốc độ tăng trưởng kinh tế.Theo khảo sát của Tổng Liên đoàn Lao động Việt Nam, thu nhập bình quân của công nhân hiện dao động từ gần 8 -10 triệu đồng mỗi tháng, trong khi chi phí sinh hoạt tại các đô thị lớn đã chiếm tới 70–80% thu nhập. Điều đó đồng nghĩa với việc tích lũy gần như không đáng kể, thậm chí nhiều lao động rơi vào tình trạng “làm đủ sống”.Một con số đáng suy nghĩ khác: mới chỉ khoảng 20–30% công nhân có cơ hội tiếp cận nhà ở xã hội hoặc nhà ở đạt chuẩn. Phần lớn vẫn phải thuê trọ trong những khu nhà chật hẹp, điều kiện sinh hoạt hạn chế.Không chỉ là câu chuyện thu nhập hay chỗ ở, điều kiện làm việc ở một số nơi vẫn còn bất cập. Áp lực tăng ca, môi trường sản xuất tiềm ẩn rủi ro, thiếu các thiết chế văn hóa, y tế, giáo dục đi kèm… đang bào mòn sức lao động và cả niềm tin của một bộ phận công nhân. Những vấn đề này nếu không được giải quyết căn cơ, chúng sẽ trở thành lực cản đối với mục tiêu phát triển bền vững.Thế nên, TBT, Chủ tịch nước Tô Lâm trong bài phát biểu đã chỉ ra: buổi gặp này còn là lời nhắc nhở chúng ta rằng, phía sau những chỉ tiêu tăng trưởng, phía sau những nhà máy, khu công nghiệp, dây chuyền sản xuất, còn có cuộc sống rất cụ thể của từng người lao động, từng gia đình công nhân. Vì thế, phải nhìn thẳng, phải lắng nghe thật kỹ, phải giải quyết bằng trách nhiệm và tình thương, bằng mỗi chính sách đúng, mỗi việc làm thiết thực, mỗi sự quan tâm kịp thời.Nhà ở xã hội cho công nhân phải được coi là một trụ cột an sinh, với cơ chế đủ mạnh để thu hút doanh nghiệp tham gia, giảm giá thành, tăng khả năng tiếp cận. Chính sách tiền lương cũng cần tiếp tục được điều chỉnh theo hướng tiệm cận mức sống tối thiểu thực tế; Phải tạo điều kiện để người lao động nâng cao kỹ năng, chuyển đổi nghề nghiệp, cải thiện thu nhập một cách bền vững. Cùng với đó, cần phát triển đồng bộ các thiết chế phục vụ công nhân như: nhà trẻ, trường học, cơ sở y tế, không gian văn hóa, để mỗi khu công nghiệp không chỉ là nơi sản xuất, mà còn là nơi đáng sống.Khi người công nhân được bảo đảm về thu nhập, chỗ ở, điều kiện làm việc; khi họ có niềm tin và cơ hội phát triển – đó cũng chính là lúc nền kinh tế có được nền tảng vững chắc nhất để bứt phá.Hương Lan/VOV1Tổng Bí thư, Chủ tịch nước Tô Lâm tặng quà cho công nhân. Nathan J. Robinson is a graduate of Sarasota's Pineview School and editor and political columnist for Current Affairs magazine.
