My 8 year old asked why we celebrate Thanksgiving... There is so much turmoil going on in the world. So much of our past has been toxic and much of our present. American's aren't the only ones with a toxic history but we don't have to continue to uphold the lies of our past. How do you honor the Native Americans while honoring the gifts of your present? In this episode I take a moment to share about my love/hate relationship with the holiday season and how I've been turning it around for the sake of my mental health. Centering

This episode gives the facts about how sex and wellness go hand in hand and ways we can relax and get in tune with our bodies to enjoy it more, whenever the opportunity presents (that parts up to you). In this episode I explore the topic of moral obligations. As mamas we take on a lot of responsibility and much of that responsibility falls under what we do and don't show up for. Do you ever feel forced or obligated to attend gatherings or do things because it's the right thing to do? Is that healthy? Let's talk about it!Centering

We have given way too much power to the thoughts of others in terms of what , when and how we should feel. We often question whether our feelings are over reactions, hormonal etc... based on the opinions or reactions of others. It is ok to disregard all of that and just feel because parenting is mental work. Make sure to stick around to the end as I offer a little something extra to help you do just that. Centering
Today's episode is about mom guilt. Unfortunatel I don't share the magical antidot on how to get rid of it, nor do I think one exist. I share my current situation and how I had to talk myself into doing something for me that didn't directly benefit my family. Getting through mom guilt is a moment by moment, situational sensitive thing. This episode is unplanned, unscripted and a little bit of therapy to reaffirm that setting aside my mom guilt to go out alone and live my best life in a new city for one weekend is ok! The herb of the day ties it all together.Centering

Keeping up with the latest parenting style trend whether suggested by an influencer or child psychologist is stressful. In this episode I explore my thoughts on why sometimes you have to toss out everything and just exist. Just be human. Centering
