The Darkest Hour

I haven't done a one on one with my older brother Gabe in awhile but it's long overdue. We talked about the shortcuts we used to take to get free lunch. We touched on how much of our dad was a hard worker and why he was a Trump supporter. Get told me Dad's side of the break up story when it comes to our parents. Gabe and I remember pain via video games. You can find out what hurt the most when you keep listening. I don't pick the women but you get to see what women pick me at the end of the day.

My longtime friend Robby called me to do a podcast. He told some ladies "He knew a guy" and I was that guy. The girls plan on starting a show about being a Cancer Survivor. Robby's dad doesn't eat steak in public and for a good reason. After the girls left, Robby and I talked about how we feel about doing well at life. One of the bartenders, Bob, stopped by to give me some Kool-Aid and AK some Gold Fish snacks. Kim and I talked to AK about helping him because he's a good friend. It was a good show and a good time folks and you'll love this one.

 I'm back at Devaney's for another fun, albeit drunken, gathering. I always bring my recording equipment to capture the conversations I have with friends on all sorts of topics. One highlight was learning some magical tricks from our inebriated friend. You'll also get to hear a story about my dad that I don't often share. A lot was discussed, but I won't give too much away.

I discuss a variety of topics in my latest episode. I explain why it took me so long to put out a new show and provide a good reason for the delay. Lastly, I provide a different point of view on the California fires and what the real problem is.

I know it's been awhile but I just a little update on the job, dating, high school reunion and a early take on the 2024 election. This one is a little over an hour so I hope you enjoy it, but I had a lot to say this time around.

I waited to long but here is another solo show where I get to vent about what is going on. You get to hear about my job which I go into great detail about why I'm so stressed out. Plus voting in 2024, immigration and more.  

You know how it goes but this time around I talk about being stressed at work. I recorded this a day before my Birthday. I talk about having lady friends and having to manifest a girlfriend someday. When it comes to my job I talk about having to work on the whole project by myself. I'm a Full-Stack Developer so I go into detail about what that is all about now. Then I talk politics for a little just to give an update on where I stay because my older brother thinks I'm Conservative. A lot of good stuff in this one so I hope you enjoy it.

I got a change to catch up with my older brother when he was in town. We talked about rent to own and cash advance places. You'll understand why I never use those places ever again. Someone is on hard times? Well Gabe and I talk about going to pawn shops and how you can find good things there. Then the we talk about remaster video games and how some game companies could make the same game again. Then some mistakes EA made when it comes to some video games.

This have been a lot of life updates back to back and I'm sorry to say it. I go into the reasons why I haven't been doing more shows and I'm hoping you'll understand. I talk about what is going on with me work wise when it comes to my current job. I go over a big family update on the show and how it made me feel. Just giving you an update on what's going on with my life. I ran into some car trouble and my brother help me solve it. There is more progress being made in the family which I'm very happy about. One of my friends ex passed away and I give my views on the matter. I touch on government corruption and give an update on meme stocks. All of that and so much more in this episode folks.

It's been awhile since I gave a life update but I think it was time. I gave an update on work and how the project is coming along. My brother that is living with me has a job and what are the next steps for him? Media Stream Media is at it again but I found one news clip pretty funny. What about having fun in your 20s and then wanting a family now that you in your 30s? Well I ran into that on social media and you get to hear about it. I talk to this woman Diane and her story is very interesting. Anyways I went a little over but I hope you enjoy this one.

This is the 4th but could be the last Devaney's episode so I had to get out there because it was going around they might close. I got a chance to talk to some of the bar regulars and we even have some returning guest you might enjoy. I talk to Robby about something he had sent to my house and Kim got me to order some Blu-rays. 

I got a good time talking about Edwin about this family, dating and tech. I'm sure I'm going to sound like a bad guy on this one but I'm glad we didn't agree on a lot of stuff.

This one is a good one because we had Shay, a married woman of 20 years on the show. How did she stay married for so long and how did she make things work? What roles do her and her husband play when it comes to relationship. Shay friends seen me at a comedy show and said I do something sexy with my lips. Darwin talks about sending a D pic and I ask Shay what would make it more interesting. Anyways I enjoyed Shay on this epsiode so you will too.

Another great update on what's going on with me. I talk about upcoming shows, work and dating life. Even give an status update on my brother and how things going with him. It's been awhile since I gave an update, but now you get to learn about where I landed when it comes to my new job. I give deals on that and why I even took the job in the first place. I found a new guy to listen to when it comes to red pill content called PsycHacks. One of my friends tried to date while not having a job and he didn't work out the way he wanted. I got a chance to play catch up with my brother Gabe to talk about so much stuff and this one is a lot different but still a fun one. I would write a ton of stuff here but I lost everything I wrote the first time when I closed the tab by mistake. I had Jenni, Caleb and Darwin some comedians from here in Orlando on this time around. Jenni goes to the gym and workout the same way Caleb does. We get to talk about different comedians in the Orland Comedy Scene and Caleb tells us his favorite one. You get to learn about our writting process when it comes to jokes. Jenni tells us about a guy she was into when she was in highschool. Darwin tells everyone how women hit on guys and Caleb is to drunk to care. Plus getting whippins as a kid, which one us had it the worst? Everyone in the room is a person of color so don't be shocked with the answer. 

This episode Darwin J invited Charlie, a woman that is in her early 30s to talking about dating and relationships us. I talk about taking a woman to a company Christmas party and how people still talk about to this day. When it comes to sexual assault the way Erick and Charlie handles it is complete different. Charlie realize black men had to take extra steps for consensual sex. You'll get to hear the example of the boring guy and the really interesting hot guy. Darwin tells a story how he almost die but had to man up for his niece. We talk about what makes a relationship break down and love language. This one is a little longer than most shows but it's a good one.

Over 60+ Episodes or hours of me talking about my life but here we are. I give some bad news but with some light at the end of the tunnel. A feminist that was on the show a long time ago got into it with me on Twitter/X and had to mute me. I went to a wedding and seen people that been together for a long time plus one of my friend just hit milestone when it comes to his wife. Then I end with more of a family update and having friends with different views.

I had on Marvin to talk about movies and the strike that is going on in Hollywood. Which leads into us talking about AI and I tell him how it works in more detail. Merv pointed out that there isn't beer marketing to black people. We talked about what went wrong in some of the DC movies and Merv talks about why some people didn't see select movies. Merv talks about selected black super heros that need to be in DC movies. There is so much going on in this episode so I hope you enjoy it.

I see down with my older brother to talk about our childhood and growing up in Lake Alfread. Gabe and I talked about being profiled by people and the cops. I tell my brother about house parties and the strip clubs. Gabe and I talked about the mistakes we made when dating in our past. We talk about what Grand Daddy would cook when we were growing up. We're back with Robby, AK and even more guest this time around. Robby talks about the sexy time mode in this place and what women think about it. Robby still figure out what's to cut cost on this new car but the ladies won't know about it. Some white dudes where looking from a far so we invited them over. I had a chance to catch up with my friend Kyle as we video chatted from life. Kyle talked to me about Oppenheimer and the Rated R parts of the movie. Kyle now has a new job and he talks about going from support to sales. We talked about some banks crashing and what our government can do behind the scenes. Is COVID-19 coming back? How will I handle COVID moving forward? Kyle and I talk about abortion rights at the state level. What 3 things you would tell your past self? Kyle and I kind of think the same on some of the questions. Kyle ask me about my dating standards and what would it take for me to invite one of these ladies to the company Chrismas Party.

I gave a quick recap on the last show and the upcoming shows I want to do. I'm hoping to have another Party Hour episode at some point. You get to hear about how much I like my Ring doorbell, smart door knobs and lock. I talked about some getting married and the one of the laws that changed here in Flordia. We had local comedian Jess Torres on this show this time around. Jess told us why her marriage ended and I talked about why my mom divorced my dad. Jess talks about how her girls ride differently when it comes to the her friends from the comedy scene. Dariwin told a story about being friends with a girl that wanted more and Jess didn't like it so she went live on Instagram. Jess told Darwin and I about the love language things that she is into. I asked Jess to rate herself from 1 to 10 based on looks and she give the lowest rating ever. Jess invited her son on the show to answer some questions from Darwin and you'll be shocked with his take on relationships. Jess didn't like what I had to say at the end of the show but she let me know in other ways. This show as great and I hope you enjoy this one.

Darwin J invited lady comic Meredith on the show to talk about dating with us. Darwin said I future explain to women and is narrow-minded. Mer asked what should women do when they like a guy because she fear rejection. Meredith got with guys that had a girlfriend, but did she know they had one? Which leads into talking about being a side chick or being be the main chick. Meredith told Darwin and I kind of bad boy she'll wanna be with then realized she need to work on herself because of that. I asked Meredith to rate herself from 1 to 10 based on her looks. Darwin rated himself higher than me but you need big D energy to pull that off. I talk about getting into a relationship and letting youself go when it comes to your diet. Val Pratt the smooth talking black Conservative is back. Val has an idea about how to force a congressman or woman in the 2 party system to do what you want. We talk about child support, healthcare and the government role in all of it. You'll be shocked that Biden didn't really fight when it comes to student loans and Val will tell you the reason why. The working class is getting smaller, more homeless people on the street and women entering the work force over the past 40 years. How could you save the planet by cutting back on carbon emissions? Let the rich people tell you how. I tell people to watch the whole video clip to get the full context. You'll be shocked that Val doesn't think hightly of Andrew Tate but I talked about how there is a full interview tell people his side of the story.

First solo podcast in the new house and I go over why I bought a house. I went to a Walk-in Clinic because I didn't feel so good the weekend before. I talk about what I don't agree with when it comes to Red Pill guys. I give my take on Jonah Hill when it comes to this ex-girlfriend text messages. People might think I'm conservative but don't realize that I'm more on the left than you think. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg started a Twitter like soical media platform called Threads. I can tell you what I like about Twitter and tell you if Threads is up to par. This episode is a little longer than most of my solo shows but I think you'll enjoy it.

I had my cousin on while he was in town to just joke around on mic for an hour. Rashad wnated to know why I didn't get a new PC because the current one is prebuilt. We had stuff stolen from us in the past and knew the people who did it. I talk to Rashad about getting free drinking from fans and not caring about there background. Rashad and I talked about running old friends we group up with in a barber shop. We also talk about video games for a little. I talk about the things I wanna do in the house with my cousin Rashad. You get to hear so many good stories and a lot of times we had.

Well doing another solo podcast because it's been awhile. Once again back to back black to black is what I like to say. I go into more detail about buying and closing on a house. Did I run into any problems? You'll be shocked to find the answer. You'll get to hear one of the first things I wanna do with my place now that I own it. One of the things I was doing to lose weight wasn't worth it. The BBC did a inteview with "misogyny" Andrew Tate but just like a penis there is a cut and uncut version. I trust to stay true to my word and I talk about I try to offer when dating someone. Also it's pride month so I figured I'll give my views about the current Flordia laws and how they effect the LGBT community.

Another solo deal babies! I give a quick recap of old episodes before jumping into other topics. I chat with an old friend and talk tech with him. You get to hear about round 2 of my deep cleaning. As a guy how does it feel to get hit on by the ladies? Well there isn't any Me Too stuff going down over here and I even hint what ladies I would have been fine with. Darwin did bring in someone new to talk about relationships. Caroline has show up at an open mic and was asked to be on the show.  We kick off the show talking about porn and do women get off to it. Something new when it comes to pee, as it on and in someone this time around. I ask Caroline to rate herself which is lower than Effie but Darwin is rating himself higher than most. Darwin don't think he slept with anyone that is crazy but Caroline think he did. Darwin and I talk to Caroline about doing comedy then help her go over what to talk about on stage. My cousin Rashad was in town for a contest and I asked him to do the show. We talk comedy scene in Lakeland and Orlando. Rashad and I talked about getting fired I go into details about getting lay go from my last job. I even go into details about my current job. Since my cousin and I are into gaming you we close out the door with that.

We are back with more stories, more drunken mistakes and good times. AK tell people about his fake name and you'll learn there are 2 Erick's out there with dark brown skin. They are back! I wasn't going to put out this episode or I was going to edit the second half. Kat and Negative talk about marrige how they make it work. Things get a little heated in the second half of the show because Rev did bring up some things that were bugging him. It's look like I'm taking the side of Rev but I'm trying to help. I'm not going to go into details but after this show they are still together and even happier after these talks.

This episode I talk bout dating and slowing down on drinking. A recap of what old episodes and the new one that is coming out. How bad is Twitter and is it worth paying for? I go into my diet and if it will change back after the company weight loss challenge. Also the friend zone I talk about that again but for good reason. All that and so much more on this show.

When the Public House closed down most of the guys shifted over to a bar a few miles up the road. So moving forward these shows will be just like The Public House Hour. You get to hear some NSFW(Not Safe for Work) stories so make sure you have your headphones on or by yourself. This episode starts off with Mikey, Robby and A.K with all connected stories. More people will show up at some point in the recording but for the most part it was the main 3 people.

It's been awhile since I had Ducky on so it was good to play catch up with him. I learned that Ducky has a new hangout spot that is an even deeper drive for me. Did you ever think about "What Women Want"? On top of that what would women hear inside the mind of men? We talk about having chick friends and is it worth it. Plus it might be shocking but Ducky and I talk policies then go deep into politics. You get to learn if Ducky nasty is more left or right leaning in this episode but remember there is always a gray area. A fun action packed episode this time around folks and it's always good to have Ducky on.

I've had Val Pratt a smooth talking black Conservative and good friend on the show. However I got luck because my buddy Ryan Gonyon just moved back into town. It was pretty much me being the middle man sometimes but there were a lot of good talks that came from this. I'm not going to give anything way here but I want to point out that Conservative and a Leftist on the show makes for a good time. Trust me it's a long show but it goes keep into a lot of topics that most people would overlook.

I had Effie back on but Darin is back as well. What is going on with Super Smooth Dude and Effie? You can get the point of view of a woman being an Uber driver. Darwin needs the dog approve and think his penis worthless. Darwin think I talked myseflt out of sex a lot, but learn the real reason why. Effie had a friends with benefits for over 5 years? How did it come to an end? All that and more in this juicy episode.

Back to back episodes with just me still but I give a good reason. I talk more about the JK Rowling trans views and her views but does those views hurt people? How do I feel about kids at drag shows? If I had kids would I let them go? Being a rockstar programmer? What about being a rockstar person that run family events? I talk about the people I helped and people who helped me over the years. I slowed down on drinking and what I see now that I'm not drinking as much. Some big banks are starting to fail again and what does that mean for the American tax payer and the stock markat? 

I did a little more than an hour because I had a lot to say this time around. I tell you why one show was put on hold and may never come out. I talked to another podcaster and we had found common ground. I go into more details how we need more unity and stop thinking a long the lines of the two party system. I've had a chat with two ladies I know from the comedy scene and even though they had political views they had one thing in common. I give me take about JK Rowling due to the video game Hogwarts Legacy being release. You get to learn about my surgery and I give a detail break down. Then I end the show touching on projects I want to work on but there are things I need to finish first.

To kick off February I had Marvin on because he had a lot of things to get off this mind. Merv is a movie guy so we talked about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever now that it's out Disney+. We're both friends with Zack so we touched on him acting more and trying to push him to do it. I've told Merv why I don't use the N-word on stage. Merv is trying to build up is portfolio and sick of helping other people. We end the show going over things that will be stuck on the internet forever which is a very powerful close things out.
