The Rotobahn Podcast

This is a relaxed podcast. It's basically me thinking through some things as I peruse the startup rankings from DLF's site.  DLF is a pretty good deal for those who've never used their site.  Anyway, the pod goes long—about 45 minutes. I walk through all four position groups and chat on players, and whether I am targeting them and so on.  I'll be back later this week—hopefully with some details from the draft. Enjoy!

Today we get into the end of round two and the first half of round three. Even with two extra high picks, I couldn't get all of my guys. We are now in day three of the 2025 UDPL Rookie Draft. Sadly, while we are in day three, we are only in the middle of the second round. Today I walk through the 19 picks that have already been made. I'll pick up on the rest tomorrow morning and throughout the week.  I should be doing a startup with ESPN's Matt Miller running the draft. It should begin shortly after the conclusion of UDPL. I'll be giving out the details on that as well.  Pretty soon we'll be making redraft boards and talking about the Scott Fish Bowl! See you all tomorrow.

Today I take a break from football to do a 40 minute catch up session on one of my absolute favorite shows, Severance.  This episode is a primer for those who've been away from the show since it dropped back in the spring on 2022. In the next two pods, we are going to do deeper dives into some of the really intriguing elements of Severance, which is a whole lot more than a look at the work life balance. It's jam packed with metaphor and allegory, and we'll try to unpack some of it and have some fun. Speaking of fun, Severance Season Two drops on January 17th! See you all in a few days!
