It's possible the Chiefs just played the single most complete game in franchise history and as easy as it is to write it off as just a crappy Raiders team, don't fall for that. This was brilliance all the way around as KC may be playing better right now than any time in the Andy/Mahomes era. What an epic 31-0 beatdown that could have been even worse. The Broncos are officially the team pulling the rabbit out of the hat every week and they did it again Sunday to take the lead in the AFC West. 1. Week 6 Takeaways-DKrom: Chiefs offense looks better than they have in ages*....and they have a major upgrade on the way in Rashee Rice -Hal: Can't wait until the trade deadline because everything's so jumbled up right now2. Week 6 Honors-GOAT of the Week (DKrom: Dave Canales, Hal: Justin Herbert)-Dunce of the Week (DKrom: Aaron Glenn, Hal: Jerry Jones)3. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being no panic at all, 10 being hide the kids), how panicked are you that the impatience and impulsive decision making of Titans ownership will ruin the promising talent that is Cam Ward? Also, each of the last four QB's selected at first overall (Trevor Lawrence, Bryce Young, Caleb Williams, and now Cam Ward) have had their head coach fired during their rookie campaign. On that same scale of 1-10, how alarming of a trend is this becoming for young QB's? 4. According to NFL insider Benjamin Allbright, a big name to watch for the Titans HC vacancy is Giants OC Mike Kafka. Keep in mind, Kafka worked together with Mike Borgonzi in Kansas City, where he was the QB's coach and had a very influential role in the development of Patrick Mahomes. And as these past three weeks have shown, he has done an excellent job with Jaxson Dart thus far. How good of a hire would Mike Kafka be? 5. Truth or Exaggeration (Division Race Edition)-There is a path for the Giants to win the NFC East-The NFC West will be a two-team race between the Rams and the Seahawks-The Falcons are a legit threat to the Bucs in the NFC South-The winner of the Packers/Lions game on Thanksgiving Day will win the NFC North-The Patriots should be the betting favorite to win the AFC East-If their offense continues the improvement it has shown the last two games, the Texans will leapfrog the Colts and Jaguars to win the AFC South -Thanks to their red hot offense, Bo Nix's sophomore struggles and the Chargers injury issues, the Chiefs will win their 10th consecutive AFC West title -The Ravens will rally back from their four-game deficit and win their third consecutive AFC North title 6. Week 7 Game Picks-Lock of the Week (DKrom: Chiefs over Raiders, Hal: Panthers over Jets)-Upset Special (DKrom: Saints over Bears, Hal: Bucs over Lions)-Steelers at Bengals-Rams at Jaguars-Dolphins at Browns-Patriots at Titans -Eagles at Vikings-Colts at Chargers-Giants at Broncos-Packers at Cardinals-Commanders at Cowboys-Falcons at 49ers-Texans at Seahawks7. Bold Predictions-DKrom: Giants sack Bo Nix 10 times, 7 of them by Abdul Carter (including a strip-sack fumble late in the fourth quarter to set up the game-winning FG)-Hal: Baker Mayfield throws 5 TD to 5 different people, and leads his team to another last-second game-winning FG8. Challenge Flags-DKrom: Chiefs and other teams favored by a TD or more...DO NOT PLAY DOWN TO YOUR COMPETITION!!!!-Hal: Cam Ward...keep your chin up and look to Drake Maye and Caleb Williams as an example of where you could be!!!!
On the latest episode of Bleav in Chargers, Matt ‘Money' Smith and Lorenzo Neal discuss the Chargers' gutsy win against Miami, emphasizing how crucial it was for the team's playoff hopes and standing in the AFC West. They dive into the performance of Justin Herbert, comparing one of his resilient game-changing plays to “Big Ben-esque.” The conversation turns to the challenges facing the Chargers, including injuries that have forced them to use backup tackles, and ongoing issues with run defense and missed tackles. For the second straight week, the Broncos have placed their starting left guard on injured reserve, first Ben Powers, now Matt Peart. Gray...is there an issue with having all of these former Saints on the roster? A look at the AFC West betting odds. Who is the current favorite to win the division? 0:00 - That Broncos vs Jets game was so incredibly bad and boring. It set the game of football back decades. Maybe they were trying to win over the Brits by only kicking the football. I digress...we asked Adam Schefter if he was able to stomach the whole thing, then got Schefty's thoughts on the NFL weekend that was.18:14 - The Chargers and Chiefs both won yesterday. The AFC West is looking like the AFC wild wild West. Broncos NEED to consistently move the ball on offense to keep pace. And their offense runs incredibly hot and cold. Yesterday proved one thing to us: they really miss Ben Powers and need to figure out how to stay afloat while he's out.34:11 - It's only preseason, but the Revamped Nuggets are looking sharp out there. Thank goodness we successfully secured Valanciunas and didn't let him go to Greece. Also, the Avs lost to the Stars again on Saturday. The curse lives on. The Avs power play is still not where it needs to be. Fans in Ball Arena booed their own squad, and Nathan MacKinnon wasn't having it.

You may not like my take on the Chiefs super disappointing loss to Jacksonville Monday night but I actually feel better about this team than I have all year. Yes, there were a few plays in this one that you just can't have... ever. But, for the first time in a couple years I feel great about the offense and expect it to get better. Hang in there, this is going to be a bumpy road but nobody is running away with the AFC West. Chiefs President Mark Donovan shares plans for a what a renovated Arrowhead would look like and you won't believe how little $800 million gets you today. Trump and his admin are cracking down on all these thugs spitting on feds and firing bricks at buildings. Let's move this up through the court system and get the full on green light please. A once popular country singer apparently doesn't like selling music or tickets as he's decided to release a song blasting ICE and the United States. Oh, my. Mizzou and a couple of other former Big 12 teams are undefeated in the SEC and this week's game against Bama feels like the biggest moment in a long, long time for the Tigers. And remember the Phillies fan and his son that crazy Karen ran up to for a baseball home run ball? Remember he gave it to her? Well, he got something a lot better this weekend.

Joe Ostrowski and Sam Panayotovich are joined by College Football Expert Michael Felder to discuss his insight and analysis going into Week #7, including just how bad things are going for Bill Belichick at North Carolina, his prediction for the Red River Rivalry Game, and which Quarterback has the advantage in Indiana-Oregon? Then, we take a deep dive into the NFL Futures Market, discussing if the Ravens are officially dead after their 1-4 start, who has the edge in the wide open AFC West, and more! The hour wraps with a conversation with Producer Brian Gertsch regarding the Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, and the players you need to add to your team this week. Plus, can the Yankees keep their season alive tonight and who has the edge in tonight's crucial Game #3 in Detroit?

0:00 - Man, something's in the water in Jacksonville! That teams looks nothing like the squad we saw last year. It was an ugly win, but it was still a massive win on MNF. Next, the Nuggets kicked off the preseason last night. Vic noticed one thing in particular that gives him hope for this season. 14:46 - The Chiefs look mortal again. The Chargers are Chargering once again. The Raiders look awful. The AFC West is wide open. It's completely and totally up for grabs in a way that it hasn't been for years. 31:39 - Tonight, Landeskog will suit up with the Avalanche in the regular season for the first time in 3 years. The roster looked way different the last time he did so. See if you can remember the line combos for his last regular season game.
0:00 - Last night made it clearer than ever: the Chiefs are no longer the AFC/AFC West juggernaut they once were. It's a whole new world out there, and Moser is ready to make a proclamation: The Broncos are winning the AFC West. BOOK IT!14:30 - Avalanche hokcey is BACK TONIGHT, baby! The wait is over. You made it. We're here. Let's go. We've had these expectations before. It seems like every year for the past 5-6 years, the Avs have had fantastic odds to win it all. And yet, they've done it once. Why will this year be different? Brett explains.34:21 - Broncos Guard Ben Powers is headed to IR with a torn bicep. He'll be out until at least December. That's a huge blow to the O-line. How will Denver offsense hold up without him?
We ask AB if he's worried about the Chiefs, the AFC West as a whole, why the Bucs are so fun to watch, what do we do with the Ravens, and more.
The Broncos division rival, the Kansas City Chiefs lost on Monday Night Football to the Jaguars to fall to 2-3 on the season. Plus, the Chargers, who are tied with the Broncos atop the AFC West, are going through a rash of injuries. Is the AFC falling into place for the Broncos? Ben Powers will miss at least two months with a biceps injury, so how much will it affect the offense? And how good do we feel about the Broncos, considering their upcoming schedule? The Avs kick off their 2025-26 season tonight in LA against the Kings. What are the expectations inside the dressing room and is this a Stanley Cup contending team? 0:00 - Adam Schefter joins us after an NFL weekend that saw: the Broncos beat the Eagles in Philly, the Saints pummel the Giants, the Titans beat the Cardinals with an impossible 4th quarter comeback, AND the Patriots beat the Bills IN BUFFALO. It's only Week 5, and there are no remaining undefeated teams. What does Schefter make of all the insanity?17:27 - It was a huge signature win for the Broncos, but everybody cheeeellllll. Everyone acts like they're running the table now, winning the next 5-6 games no question, winning the AFC West, etc. Let's pump the brakes here! This team still has stuff to work on before they're a bonafide juggernaut. After that, both CSU and CU are in deep trouble. CSU knows they need to fire their head coach, but it'll cost them a lot of dough if they do it before Jan 1. Deion Sanders is having medial issues yet again, and clearly Salter isn't the guy. 33:59 - After an abysmal first half, Bo Nix didn't get rattled. He battled back and orchestrated a comeback late in the 4th quarter on the road in Philly against the undefeated defending Super Bowl champs. Atta boy, Bo. Way to go!
