And is Harry Brook determined to self-destruct in every innings? We also discuss whether ODI openers should consider a T20 approach, and continue to speculate on the vacant England test coaching job now that Andy Flower has withdrawn from the race. As the show continues, the conversation moves to the West Indies, where at the time of recording New Zealand held a 2-1 lead in the five-match ODI series. April 29, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 129 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers and the recent roster moves the team has made. We discuss DL Dean Lowry deciding not to sign just yet and the Steelers cutting WR/QB John Rhys Plumlee on Tuesday. We also discuss the roster total number entering Wednesday. The Steelers surprised a lot of people on Tuesday when they placed an unrestricted free agent tender on QB Aaron Rodgers. Because of that move, Alex and I discuss the who, what, when and where related to the transaction. We attempt to clarify everything related to the tender and how it relates to the compensatory draft pick formula. Alex and I also discuss how Rodgers might take the tender transaction in addition to us building a short list of teams that might potentially consider signing Rodgers before July 22. Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette seems pretty convinced that the Steelers won't go into the regular season with young quarterbacks Will Howard and Drew Allar as the only two backups behind Rodgers should he ultimately re-sign with the team. We give our thoughts on what Dulac said on the topic during the middle of this show. Later in this show, Alex and I reveal our initial 53-man roster predictions for the 2026 season now that the draft has concluded. We highlight our few differences and go over our reasons for them.
