In hour 4, the 94 WIP Midday Show are continuing their previews of Eagles-Cowboys coming up this Sunday. Nick Sirianni responds to Dak Prescott's strong home record against NFC East opponents by saying that he hasn't seen this year's Eagles yet. it's clear that Sirianni thinks history does not matter in these circumstances. In this week's segment of Guess the Takes, Joe, Hugh, and Kyle have interesting things to say about some AFC teams. Kyle Schwarber has been flirting with the Cincinnati Reds in free agency and Joe Giglio does not like it. Listen at the end for today's edition of You People!
In hour 1, the 94 WIP Midday Show debate whether or not the Eagles are in for a trap game against the Cowboys on Sunday. Joe Giglio thinks it is, pointing to Lane Johnson's absence and Dak Prescott's impressive home NFC East record as reason. Hugh Douglas does not think that it is a trap game, but admits that the team has been very dysfunctional this season. He says that winning is the bottom line, but the team still has to be better. The Cowboys are a much different team from when they last played the Eagles in week 1, and their offense has been extremely strong this season. It will be a big test for an Eagles defense that has dominated teams in recent games.
On this week's edition of Guess the Takes on the 94 WIP Midday Show, Joe Giglio makes a bold statement about an NFL team that is sitting near the top of the league. Hugh Douglas has faith in a young QB who is about to make a milestone start. Kyle Quinn thinks this AFC team is set to go on a late-season run. Also, Nick Sirianni had interesting comments when asked about Dak Prescott's impressive home record against the NFC East.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are previewing the matchup between the Eagles and the Cowboys this Sunday. Joe Giglio is nervous that the Eagles may be in for a trap game. The Eagles are notoriously bad without Lane Johnson, who will not play with a foot injury. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has a strong record at home against NFC East opponents. Divisional games are never an easy task, and this one will be no different for the Eagles.

In Hour 1, Chris “The Rooster” Russell kicks things off by reacting to Jayden Daniels' partnership with 3 Arts Sports and his plans to launch a production company. Is this a smart long-term move or an unnecessary distraction for a young quarterback still finding his footing? The Rooster breaks it down. Then, with NFL Hard Knocks releasing its new trailer for the in-season series featuring all four NFC East teams, Chris gives his thoughts on what fans can expect and what storylines could take center stage. The conversation turns to the audience as The Rooster asks whether he's wrong to be concerned about Daniels taking on too much too soon and listeners sound off. Finally, Chris wraps Hour 1 by exploring the big question: Is this media venture truly what's best for Jayden Daniels' career, or could it create more pressure than payoff?

The conversation shifts to NFL Hard Knocks' new in-season trailer featuring all four NFC East teams, with Chris analyzing potential storylines and fan expectations. Discussion also touches on Dallas' dominant win over the Raiders and the Cowboys' realistic season outlook. Week 11 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Detroit Lions by a score of 16-9 at The Linc in South Philly. Yet again, we saw an offense that continues to sputter and baffle us fans. Meanwhile, we're watching a Super Bowl caliber defense that is defying the odds. They are now 8-2 on the season and at the top of the NFC East division and NFC overall.Once again, the Eagles were predictable, even though A.J. Brown saw 11 targets in this game. The rushing game, once again, couldn't get going. Jalen Hurts was missing open receivers and overthrowing receivers as well. The offense's main issue - the offensive line and their inconsistent play both in the rushing and passing game. the Eagles have the most expensive offense in the NFL by a significant margin. And they continue to be a terrible offense. It's an A+ grade for all aspects of this defense. From the pressure the defensive front consistently put on Jared Goff, to the linebackers making a tremendous impact, to the amazing play by the secondary on two of the league's best wide receivers, the defense was absolutely dominant. Vic Fangio has this defense playing on all cylinders! As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: youtube.com/@thephiladelphiasportstableHead over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.comFollow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow us on Instagram:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstable.Follow Jeff on TikTok: @mrjeffwarrenFollow us on Facebook: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable
NFC East recap from yesterday's game. A recap of the best games from the NFL overall yesterday. How does the new Cowboys' defense look going up against the Raiders tonight.
The Philadelphia Eagles just destroyed the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football, and somehow I am both thrilled and on the brink of insanity. The defense might be the best in the NFL right now, while the offense feels like a weekly psychological experiment. In this episode of Birds vs Boys, I break down how the Eagles moved to 8–2, took control of the NFC East and the entire NFC, and why this defense is built to dominate in January. We talk about everything from Jared Goff going 2 for his last 18 to the Lions going 0 for 5 on fourth down, to how the Eagles defensive line absolutely obliterated Detroit's highly regarded offensive front. Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, Jaelan Phillips, Nolan Smith, Brandon Graham, Zach Baun, Nakobe Dean and the entire unit were everywhere. The secondary locked up Amon-Ra St. Brown (no dances this week!) and the big guys up front batted pass after pass at the line of scrimmage. Then we get into the ugly part. The Eagles offense. From penalties on the tush push, to missed deep shots, to strange play calls on third and short, I try to answer the big question everyone is asking: what does this offense actually do well right now? Is it coaching, execution, effort? Hint to all you kids out there taking standardized tests...choose all of the above. There is a catalog of specific plays to digest with Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and more that leave you dumbfounded how they could struggle THIS MUCH.We also look ahead to Eagles vs Cowboys next week in what I am calling the final test for this offense. No wind, no cold, a dome, and a Cowboys defense that has been vulnerable. If they cannot move the ball here, we have a real problem.

The conversation continues with a debate on whether the Commanders' defensive woes stem from talent or scheme, exploring poor performances and whether a full rebuild should be considered, while Cowboy B weighs in on Dallas' trade deadline moves and upcoming matchups. The show wraps with a deep dive into what makes a talented offensive lineman, comparisons of the NFL to other sports leagues, and a critical look at Washington's offense, Kliff Kingsbury's scheme, and audience reactions, blending strategy, insight, and fan-driven debate.

Week 10 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Green Bay Packers by a score of 10-7 up at Lambeau Field. In what could have been one of the least offensive inspiring games of the season, this was a win for the Eagles defense. They are now 7-2 on the season and at the top of the NFC East division. The Eagles offense went back to their predictability, which is now a concern, once again, moving forward. The Packers defense knew the snap count. They knew which plays were being run. They made it easy for the Packers defense. Offenses cannot get far in the playoffs running the same kind of plays over and over again. The offensive slog was both the fault of Kevin Patullo AND Nick Sirianni. We've seen this for far too long. Jalen Hurts was off and not playing at a high level this week, and the offensive line played terrible football that adversely impacted the rushing game. The defense was this week's highlight! What a debut game for Jaelan Phillips as he made his presence known coming off the edge. Always getting pressure. He was an overall disturber throughout the game. The linebackers and secondary had a pretty stellar game as well. Credit goes to Vic Fangio who had his defense ready to play this week!As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: youtube.com/@thephiladelphiasportstableHead over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.comFollow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow us on Instagram:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstable.Follow Jeff on TikTok: @mrjeffwarrenFollow us on Facebook: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable

Mike Mayock was on the Afternoon Show last week and gave a bit of an Eagles-Packers preview. He thinks the Eagles need to get to Jordan Love. Hopefully with Jaelan Phillips and Brandon Graham back, they can. Over the weekend it came out that the Cowboys put a "poison pill" into the Micah Parsons trade, which means the Packers would need to relinquish a 1st round pick if they trade Parsons to an NFC East team (basically, the Eagles) within the next two years.
It was reported over the weekend that Jerry Jones when trading Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers put a 'poison pill' clause in the deal that forbids the Packers from trading Parsons in the NFC East without having to forfeit a first round pick to the Packers. Is this a sign the Eagles live rent free in the Cowboys and Jerry Jones' head?
