The 94 WIP Midday Show are previewing the rest of the Eagles season as they get a fortunate result with the Cowboys losing to the Lions on Thursday Night Football. Joe Giglio would immediately sign up for the Eagles to finish 3-2 the rest of the way, which would clinch the NFC East. Hugh Douglas disagrees, saying he wants to play it out because the number 1 seed in the NFC is still possible. Douglas says that the Eagles, as they are currently constructed, cannot win the Super Bowl. Jalen Carter's absence will be a major factor over the next few weeks.
The 94 WIP Midday Show continue to debate whether or not you would rather immediately sign up for the Eagles to go 3-2 in their last 5 games, clinching the NFC East, or to roll the dice and play the season out. Hugh Douglas says that the Eagles have not lived up to their potential this year and that being happy to just make the playoffs is not the standard they should have. Hugh still says they are one of the most talented teams in the league and wants them to take control of their own destiny. Joe Giglio expects the Eagles defensive line to dominate against the Chargers on Monday night.
In hour 1, the 94 WIP Midday Show questions whether or not it is acceptable to sign up for the Eagles to have a 3-2 record in their remaining 5 games. This scenario would have them clinch the NFC East and host a playoff game. Joe Giglio is on board, claiming that there is a possibility that the Eagles completely collapse. Hugh Douglas wants to play the season out, urging the Eagles to take control of the season and potentially fight for the NFC number 1 seed. He also says that they do not deserve to make the playoffs if they do collapse. Jalen Carter's injury will be a big loss for the Eagles in the coming weeks. Jordan Mailata teased that there will be some new things in the running game against the Chargers on Monday night.
Today's 94 WIP Midday Show posed an interesting question: would you sign-up right now for the Eagles to finish their final 5 games at 3-2, clinching the NFC East and a home playoff game? Joe Giglio certainly would, because he thinks that there is possibility the wheels fall off of this season. Hugh Douglas strongly disagrees, urging the Eagles to take control of their destiny and start playing better. Kyle Schwarber's free agency is starting to pick up steam with the MLB winter meetings starting next week. Darius Slay interestingly called Philadelphia his second home but would not comment on if he is coming back. Jalen Hurts needs to start running more, according to Joe Giglio. Listen at the end for the Guess the Takes segment, and You People!
“Can a dog really predict NFL games better than the experts?” That's the hilarious question that kicks off today's episode of The Ben and Skin Show, and trust us—you'll want to hear where this goes. Ben Rogers, Jeff “Skin” Wade, Kevin “KT” Turner, and Krystina Ray bring you a jam-packed show full of sports, laughs, and jaw-dropping theories. Here's what's inside:Poppy the Puppy's shocking pick: The Fox 4 canine sensation makes its call for Cowboys vs. Lions—and it's not what you want to hear.Cowboys game day breakdown: Why tonight's matchup matters and the injury news that could shake up the NFC East.Ben's Mavericks bombshell: Is Jason Kidd secretly sabotaging Nico Harrison to take over as GM? Ben lays out his wild theory—and it might make more sense than you think.Mavs momentum: Anthony Davis is healthy, Cooper Flagg is clutch, and Ryan Nembhard is running the show. Is it too late to tank? Or is this team ready to make a run?
The Washington Commanders (3-7) go to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Vikings (4-8), led by QB JJ McCarthy, a fellow 2024 QB draftee. Before we dive into the matchup, we begin with the All-22 Review against the Denver Broncos from Sunday night. KDot gives his game ball to an entire unit, and was pleased with the fight and effort he saw from the Commanders. We also touch on HBO's Hard Knocks, featuring the NFC East this season. Dan Quinn delivers an elite speech in the locker room after the Broncos game.We begin the matchup preview, as we always do, with the injury report for the game. The Commanders are getting healthier, with Jayden Daniels back and Terry McLaurin in line to continue playing. However, Bobby Wagner has not practiced the past couple days, so his status is up in the air. For the Vikings, Christian Darrisaw is a question mark. The Commanders offense, featuring Jayden Daniels once again, takes on a Vikings defense that blitzes more than any other team in the NFL. Andrew Van Ginkel returned around a month ago for the Vikings, which directly lines up with their defense playing much better. This is an opportunity for Jayden to play well against the blitz, something he was brilliant at last season, but struggled with this season. This will also be the first time Jayden Daniels has Terry McLaurin, Deebo Samuel, Noah Brown and a fully healthy projected starting offensive line all season. The Commanders defense goes against JJ McCarthy, Aaron Jones, Jordan Mason, Justin Jefferson and the rest of this Vikings offense. JJ has turned the ball over in every game he's played, but when he only turns it over once, he's 2-0. The Vikings run through their running game, so it is critical we stop it.The Commanders are road favorites by 1.5 points and the over-under is 43.5 points. On this football recap, Will Compton and Taylor Lewan link up with NFL legend and FOX analyst Greg Olsen to break down another loaded week across the league. The boys open with the analytics behind the Bears–Eagles two-point decision and why the numbers sparked debate across NFL circles. They move into Panthers–Rams before taking a full lap around the NFC East and asking the big question: can the Cowboys actually win the division? They also dive into the NFC North race, hit the AFC South battles shaping the playoff picture, and close with Miami’s headline storyline — should the Dolphins stay committed to Mike McDaniel? Plus in our college portion, Taylor breaks down Ohio State’s exorcism of Michigan with Ohio State Head Coach, Ryan Day, the boys recap Lane Kiffin’s bolt from Ole Miss to LSU for $100M, Pate calls Florida’s Jon Sumrall hire a near catastrophic miss if Auburn didn’t land Alex Golesh. The crew then maps out absolute CFP Armageddon—BYU stealing the Big 12 auto-bid, five-loss Duke somehow winning the ACC, Bama beating Georgia and sparking a three-loss runner-up debate that could boot half the SEC while a G5 like Tulane sneaks in. Heisman talk gets spicy (Julian Sayin, Diego Pavia, and Indiana’s zero-pick rocket Fernando Mendoza). With the college football landscape being so chaotic The Boys are here to make sense of it all. Munaf Manji and Mackenzie Rivers talk weekend betting action and much more. The guys also discuss the MNF game. The Week 13 Weekend Rewind show opens with Munaf Manji and Mackenzie Rivers reacting to a wild Sunday night game where Denver beat Washington 27–26 in overtime despite constant swings, flags, and late chaos. They credit Marcus Mariota for filling in effectively, though rookie Jaden Daniels is expected back next week. Both agree Washington's two-point try was obvious given their season situation. They note Denver stays atop the AFC West at 10–2 while the Commanders fall despite fighting hard. Mackenzie expects fatigue effects next week because both teams played high-volume offensive snaps. Survivor carnage dominates the middle of the show: Thanksgiving wiped out over 850 entries as every underdog won (Packers over Lions, Cowboys over Chiefs, Bengals over Ravens, Bears over Eagles). They discuss hedging strategy, noting a six-way tie in the Grandissimo contest paid each over $1M. By Sunday only 45 entries remained with one more pending Monday night. Biggest downgrades: Vikings after J.J. McCarthy's disastrous 4-INT outing amid confusion over concussion protocol; Chiefs fall from 5.5-point favorites to 3.5 vs Houston as the market finally stops giving them elite benefit of the doubt; Rams downgraded after losing outright as double-digit favorites to Carolina; Lions downgraded partly due to Goff's slide and Amon-Ra St. Brown's injury. Upgrades: Cowboys after back-to-back wins over Eagles and Chiefs; Jets with Tyrod Taylor playing efficiently and running for the winning TD; Bears dominating the Eagles on the ground and maybe becoming legitimate NFC North contenders; Bengals with Burrow healthy again; Texans improving behind CJ Stroud, rookie receivers, and a defense that continues to outperform expectations. They analyze division markets: AFC South tight among Colts, Jaguars, Texans; NFC East still Eagles-favored but Cowboys lurking; NFC North wide open with Chicago rising. They move to Monday Night Football: Patriots (10–2) vs Giants (2–10). Drake May is surging in MVP odds, and New England has won nine straight with strong defense and Travion Henderson emerging as their lead back. The Giants are better ATS than straight up on the road but struggle to finish games. Munaf likes Henderson's rushing yards over given New York's awful run defense (6.2 YPC allowed, 219 given to Gibbs last week). Mackenzie prefers Drake May under 245.5 passing yards, predicting Vrabel leans on the run. They mention Jackson Dart returning for New York and expect high pass attempts if they fall behind. They wrap with NBA chatter: whether the Thunder can break the 73-win record; Mackenzie predicts around 70–12. They close discussing the 49ers' strong defensive form, Purdy's connection with Kittle, and optimism for San Francisco's division race before signing off with promo codes and reminders for upcoming pods. Week 13 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they lost to the Chicago Bears at The Linc by a score of 24-15. As we have seen week after week, we once again saw an offense that continues to sputter and baffle us fans. There is no fire from the offense, which is stemming rom the coaching staff. While the defense was embarrassed on the ground in this game giving up 281 total rushing yards, they still gave the offense every chance to make it a game. 10am hour of The K&C Masterpiece!
A wild Week 12 across the NFL. Matthew Stafford led a dominating performance of the LA Rams over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who lost Baker Mayfield during the first half. Sean McVay has the Rams rolling and in the top spot in the NFC. The Dallas Cowboys came back on the Philadelphia Eagles and knocked them off. The Eagles still lead the NFC East but Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and AJ Brown still seem lost. Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens on the other hand, do not seem lost together and are lining up one of the best NFL offenses in the league. The Kansas City Chiefs had a comeback of their own, holding the Indianapolis Colts offense scoreless on their last 4 drives to keep their playoff chances alive. Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor ran into Steve Spagnuolo's buzzsaw defense and looked very different than the dominant offense they looked like in their previous games. The Patriots defeated the Bengals, the Bears got past the Steelers and the Lions escaped the Giants and we cover all that and more in our Week 12 reactions! Rich reacts to the Dallas Cowboys' stunning comeback win over the Eagles after trailing by 21 points at halftime, and comments on what's next for Philadelphia's dysfunction-riddled locker room after Sunday's disheartening loss to their NFC East archrival. Rich explains why MVP frontrunner Matthew Stafford and the rolling Los Angeles Rams are the NFL's team to beat through 12 weeks of play this season, and says why Kansas City's overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts illustrates why he can't quit Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Rich weighs in on the Chicago Bears improving to 8-3 on the year under first-time head coach Ben Johnson and 2nd-year QB Caleb Williams. Learn more about your ad choices. It's Monday, November 24th, and today Norm is just wondering: when was the last time the Dallas Cowboys delivered a win that made fans scream, throw things, swear they were done, and then pretend they believed all along?Because after falling behind 21–0 — complete with a failed fourth-down attempt, a fumbled punt, multiple drops, and enough self-inflicted pain to qualify as performance art — somehow, someway, the Cowboys decided to be a football team again. From there? Dallas chipped, clawed, and lucked its way back into what turned into one of their most meaningful wins in years — a 24–21 comeback over the defending Super Bowl champs, the division rival Eagles, and the team that's made the NFC East feel like a one-team league. So… what does it mean?A turning point?A false alarm?A setup for heartbreak on Thanksgiving?Well, buckle up — because Norm breaks down the chaos, the odds, and exactly what a path to the playoffs looks like now that this team has decided losing isn't as fun as we all feared. For now? We savor it.For exactly three days. Week 12 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they lost to the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 24-21 at AT&T Stadium in Texas. Yet again, we saw an offense that continues to sputter and baffle us fans. Dominant out of the gate, and then coached poorly the remainder of the game. The defense and Vic Fangio did all they could to mitigate the offensive disaster for 40 minutes. This team is now 8-3 on the season and are still at the top of the NFC East division. As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: youtube.com/@thephiladelphiasportstableHead over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.comFollow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow us on Instagram:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstable.Follow Jeff on TikTok: @mrjeffwarrenFollow us on Facebook: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable
