I'm back! It's been a while in between podcasts but I am very excited to be back with you. I have kept this podcast very specific to what I am going through right now and that is to talk about not giving up on your dreams. I have had a lot of dreams come true in the past couple of months and they have all happened just when I was ready to quit. You have desires inside of you for a reason and you should keep chasing after those dreams until they are reality. Even when you face set backs and rejection around every corner. Everything happens for a reason. Learn from those mistakes, ask for help from people who have gone before you and keep backing yourself. The feeling you feel when you finally have your dreams come true is literally THE BEST! And you all can feel it, just keep pushing forward. I hope you enjoy this episode. The Netflix show I talk about in this episode is ‘Love Sex & Goop.' I highly recommend it. Let me be your cheerleader, reach out to me on Instagram @unmaskedwithcaitlyn

Welcome back to the Unmasked podcast. This short episode if just a little motivational chat to maybe give you the push to look at your life and see if you are living is the one you want to be. I had a friend pass away recently which brought everything into perspective for me. Life is unpredictable, challenging and uncontrollable at times but what we can control is our minds and how we want to live our life. If we are doing things that don't make us happy we can change them. The only constant in life is change, we can change things that that are no longer aligning with us. In this podcast I talk about how we should be facing our fears and trying new things. Not letting the fear of failure or fear of embarrassment stop us. Chase sparks of excitement and passion. Start living the life you want to live! Sending lots of love to everyone who has lost someone close to them. Welcome back to the Unmasked Podcast. Today's guest is Dry but Wet creator Amy Armstrong. Amy discovered alcohol from a young age and with that thought it was the key to confidence, a good time and socialization. Drinking was a massive part of her life until her late 30s and became her coping mechanism to deal with stress and anxiety. She didn't think she had a problem with alcohol even when she was dangerous around her child at times. She has gone from relying on alcohol to now completely giving it up and has been sober for two years. She found the confidence to quit her job, launch her own business and is now on a mission to be the go-to resource for non-alcoholic reviews and recommendations. Going sober Amy discovered her true identity and found purpose, passion, energy and clarity. Which is something I relate to so much. Amy is open and true about her story with alcohol in this episode and it is a great conversation to hear someone else's journey. Share it with your friends and family. I have known Speedo for 12 years and within that time I have seen her go through so much growth and hardship to remove her own masks and really come into her own. She openly talks about her experience growing up in a small country town, not being accepted throughout high school, being ashamed of her truth for many years to now where she accepts herself, is proud to call herself gay and is living her true authentic life. Do you have an all or nothing mentality? Are you too hard on yourself and don't give yourself enough credit? Hello there, today's episode is inspired from my own recent realizations that whilst I want to keep pushing myself, I am not giving myself credit for what I have done up until this point. We are often our own worst critics and pushing ourselves has many benefits, but by not taking a step back to appreciate how far we have come and celebrating the little wins each day, we are putting this extra pressure and guilt on ourselves. I talk about how I have with all or nothing mindset around emotional eating and how I am trying to change it. I also discuss how I am going to stop being guilty for being in a quieter time of my life, it is still beneficial and I am still successful. Have a listen and see if you relate.
