Welcome to CHUCKYVISION, a podcast about the horror franchise Child's Play/Chucky, the surrounding culture and other killer doll films. Mark and Dev find a new subculture of the haunted doll genre and it's mega-cheap British films. Dev didn't mean to highlight this when he picked four modern doll horrors for YOU the listener to choose in a poll, and Mark pointed out they were ALL British with cast, crew, and company crossovers within! The Curse of Humpty Dumpty is a 2021 haunted doll film that innovates the genre in that it's an egg clearly played by a man. It's also about dementia and weird Satanic cults. Note: Upon Mark remarking this is the worst film so far, Dev failed to bring up Annabelle which is somehow more boring than this and left a bad taste with the real-life Warrens and Manson stuff. Mark has since rescinded that comment.
