On 12 November 1925, the BBC broadcast one of its most bizarre programmes yet: 'MASS TELEPATHY: An Experiment in Thought Reading in which every Listener will be invited to assist' On 12 November 2025, we present a dramatic re-enactment, based on newspaper articles of the day, and brought to life with a cast of marvel and a guest radio drama producer. Appropriately, the one believer on the celebrity panel was the first BBC dramatist - Phyllis Twigg. We first landed on this story on episode 72 of this podcast, exploring her tale, her innovations and her interest in spiritualism. Alas no one else on the panel took it seriously. Like The Celebrity Traitors of 1925, a bunch of celebs (a Shakespearean actress, a panto star, the BBC's drama critic, the BBC's Director of Education, an MP, and so on) gathered in a fancy hotel with a gothic atmosphere and played a spooky game around a table, with a glass or two of fizzy rosé. Or is it more Derren Brown: Mind Control? Either way, the celebrity jury mostly played it for laughs - and enjoyed the hospitality of the Savoy Hotel a little too much. The listeners weren't happy - especially those taking it seriously at home, beaming their thoughts into the ether. With no recording, we bring it to life for the first time in a century. Paul Trammell lives on a sailboat, currently at anchor in Bocas del Toro, Panama. He is the author of ten books and co-author of three more. His latest, Identity Crisis,  is a nautical thriller inspired by his taking on a sailing hitchhiker and his mother's resulting fear for his safety. This follows his psychological thriller Until They Bury Me, which explores the dangers of falling in love too fast and assuming your college sweetheart is still the person you loved years ago. Paul has also written many nonfiction books, his latest being Sailing to Newfoundland. He is also the author of two self-help books about alcoholism (he is ten-years sober) the latest of which is The Joy of Living Clean and Sober.  And he writes short stories (most of which are sci-fi) and poetry. Sú medzi nimi mnohopočetné rodiny či rodičia samoživitelia ako aj ich deti. No a my tento problém nielenže nedokážeme riešiť, ale ho aj veľmi výrazne prehliadame či dokonca vytesňujeme z našej pozornosti i záujmu. Kto teda sú tí naši chudobní a ako sa im žije v tejto našej spoločnosti? Čo pre vyriešenie tohto hrozivého problému robí štát a ako to, že napriek všetkým tým veľkoústym deklaráciám o silnom sociálnom štáte - ako i údajne sociálnodemokratickým stranám vo vláde, tento štát na masu svojich chudobných spoluobčanov v realite úplne kašle? Ako zreformovať skostnatelý, prebujnelý a pritom tak žalostne neefektívny sociálny systém? Prečo v pasci generačnej chudoby uviazlo toľko našich detí a ako ich z tohto bludného kruhu vytiahnuť a dať im perspektívu či aspoň šancu na dôstojný život?No a napokon, máme na Slovensku dôstojné príjmy a kam vlastne dnes mizne stredná trieda?
