Aubrey Haddard was 15 when her world was rocked after seeing Susan Tedeschi and from that point forward, she forged her own path in music by bearing her spirit with relentless moxie. She has been praised as having “nascent star power;” and her songs “bursting with life.”After cultivating music in Boston through 2017, Haddard released her brashly intimate debut album Blue Part in July 2018 to wide critical acclaim. She was praised by NPR affiliate WBUR as having a “nascent star power;” DigBoston described her songs as “bursting with life.”Following the release of her debut, Haddard spent the following two years heavily circulating national tour circuits as both a headliner and support act for numerous globally recognized bands. With lead by singles “Just A Wall” and “Green As Ever” Aubrey Haddard's second full-length album, Awake And Talking, will be out August 19, 2022.Please join us as we listen to her stories and hear her music (she's playing not 1 but 2 songs live during the show!) from this bluesy, soulful, pop songstress who rocks and is sure to be...your next favorite band.Aubrey HaddardWebsite: https://www.aubreyhaddard.com/Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/381YSSMDhVoPemUuyQBJSV?si=JND0fzATTdiwE1pZWOtHggYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxQMEndojaLxdbXdrArFMpAAs always, our hope here is to bring you “your next favorite band”. The latest, insufferable ramblings of the Sonofnothing. This one is relentless, like a good water boarding. I rant about drivers braking uphill, laziness at the gym parking lot, rude strangers, rushing, taking our time, meditation, and probably a bunch of other inane badinage. RIP Dolores O'Riordan. The Cranberries were one of those upper echelon bands from the 90's that regularly and loudly played in my household. Revisiting No Need To Argue is a time warp, and it is truly one beautiful album. The album is playing throughout the podcast. Check out New Paltz native (@aub.had), Aubrey Haddard and her band, Breakfast For The Boys Thanks Ali for the Netflix, and giving me hope. You are a beauty. Now, take your scrubs off, eat some pizza, and quit worrying about it.
