What does it take to break free from a lifetime of educational conditioning? For Evgenia, a Russian immigrant now homeschooling in Canada, the journey began with a powerful realization: "I don't like to share my child with the government."Growing up in Russia's rigid school system left lasting impressions – some teachers still appear in her nightmares decades later. But becoming a mother transformed everything, shifting her from liberal-minded to questioning mainstream educational approaches.
