Listeners, the world has been filled with much turmoil since we last recorded. Namely of course, Penny Dreadful got abruptly canceled and is now dead like so many dicks. We're sorry for taking so long to release this episode, as our lives came crashing together and then apart. That combined with the emotional shattering of the show ending left us all very tender, and it took a while for us to properly arrange our thoughts. So our last episode covers the last three episodes of Penny Dreadful, while we all get wine drunk and rage about our emotions and issues with the ending. We want to thank all of our wonderful listeners who supported us over the last 2 years, you guys made the show so much fun to do. We also want to thank everybody who made Penny Dreadful, the show that burned so bright and so fast. Dreadful Thoughts will die as it lived, yelling about who should bang who, into the microphone. No but really, we have a new show in the works and you'll love it. Listen to the episode for details. Your hosts have been Nika Howard (@nika_howard), Brad Brockway (@bsquared_yo), Steph Kingston (@StephOKingston) and Kym Stonick (@kymcattys)
On this episode of Penny Dreadful, we see some things that collective make us all let out the sails and sail out to sea in our "ship" ship. Our lovely Lyle comes back, only to break our hearts, Vanessa gets a new lady friend that we swoon over, and Ethan finishes dying his Edgelord hair black and sits down for what might be the most awkward family dinner. We also get into Dorian and Lily's prostitute army and how Justine isn't just lusty for blood, she's down right cray. This week we are joined by hosts Brad Brockway (@bsquared_yo), Nika Howard (@nika_howard), and you guys asked and she is back!-Kym Stonick (@kymcattys). After you subscribe and download all those episodes, make sure to leave us a 5 star rating and review on iTunes or your preferred podcasting app. You can find Dreadful Thoughts not only here at Geekly Inc, but also on Twitter @DreadThoughts, Tumblr at dreadful-thoughts-podcast.tumblr.com, or email us at DreadfulThoughtsPodcast@gmail.com.
Listeners, if you had started to appreciate the academic and grown up vibe that we've been getting into this season then we are sorry (not sorry) for ruining it this episode. Steph returns along with special guest Kym Stonick to spend an awful lot of time talking about cave fucking. We also discuss how Rusk keeps his arm polished, Frekyll being dicks to each other, and manage to fit in some good discussion about this...questionable episode. Your hosts are Brad Brockway (@bsquared_yo), Nika Howard (@Nika_howard), Steph Kingston (@StephOKingston) and Kym Stonick (@kymcattys) After you subscribe and download all those episodes, make sure to leave us a 5 star rating and review on iTunes or your preferred podcasting app. You can find Dreadful Thoughts not only here at Geekly Inc, but also on Twitter @DreadThoughts, Tumblr at dreadful-thoughts-podcast.tumblr.com, or email us at DreadfulThoughtsPodcast@gmail.com.

Joining us this week we have our hosts, Brad Brockway (@bsquared_yo), Nika Howard (@nika_howard), and our very special gravy boat host, Matthew Morris (@matthewmmorris)! Malcolm and Kaetaney make up the distance between them and Ethan and discuss if Ethan can still be saved. Welcome little scorpions to the second episode of this season of Penny Dreadful. In this episode, titled "Predators Near and Far", we see what a Victorian dates with Ives and Dr. Sweet is like and what "getting coffee really means". Then we travel to Africa and meet up with Sir Malcolm and learn of how much he enjoys boats and get a treat sized bite of Ethan and Kaetenay's history through a drug induced dream sequence. And to top it all off we follow Renfield and find out a very sweet reveal! So grab your gravy boats, rejoice because the bells have stopped ringing for Tennyson, and get to listening! Your hosts are Ashleigh Shadowbrook (@ShadowbrookAsh), Nika Howard (@nika_howard), Brad Brockway (@bsquared_yo), and Steph Kingston (@StephOKingston). OH! The day we've all (well maybe except Lord Tennyson) been waiting for has finally arrived! Season 3 is here and boy oh boy did it come in firing on all cylinders. Ives is in Murray Manor doing her best impression of an early 2000's emo teen, Sir Malcolm is in Africa, Ethan is in chains on a train, and Frankenstein has reunited with an old friend. If all of that weren't fantastic enough this episode also drops a huuuuge bombshell as it cuts to black. Daddy issues, stuffed animals and brigands abound and we're excited to talk about it with our special guest host. What are you still reading for, go listen. Or you could get your teeth fixed. It's that time again, and with less than a week before the premiere (unless you checked it out online early) we thought we'd take one more crack at predictions for Season 3. The next time we're in your ear holes, it'll be for the premiere! Your hosts are Ashleigh Shadowbrook (@ShadowbrookAsh), Nika Howard (@nika_howard), Brad Brockway (@bsquared_yo), and Steph Kingston (@StephOKingston). @Dreadthoughts on Twitter www.dreadful-thoughts-podcast.tumblr.com www.facebook.com/DreadfulThoughts @dreadthoughtspod on Instagram dreadfulthoughtspodcast@gmail.com
This off season episode is an homage to one of our favourite podcasts: The Dollop. Listen as Steph tells Nika, Brad, and Ash all about the hot royal gossip of the 1800s. We discuss assassinations, plaster hands, and the finer points of tying your royal dick down. Your hosts are Ashleigh Shadowbrook (@ShadowbrookAsh), Brad Brockway (@bsquared_yo), Nika Howard (@Nika_Howard) and Steph Kingston (@StephOKingston). @Dreadthoughts on Twitter www.dreadful-thoughts-podcast.tumblr.com www.facebook.com/DreadfulThoughts @dreadthoughtspod on Instagram dreadfulthoughtspodcast@gmail.com
Our demonic daddy Lucifer has blessed us with not one, not two, but three new trailers for Penny Dreadful's third season. Naturally we had to dissect them like Victor going at a hot corpse. We theorize what Dorian and Lily are up to, why is Ives in an asylum again, and discuss the return of vampires. Your hosts are Ashleigh Shadowbrook (@ShadowbrookAsh), Nika Howard (@nika_howard), Brad Brockway (@bsquared_yo), and Steph Kingston (@StephOKingston). @Dreadthoughts on Twitter www.dreadful-thoughts-podcast.tumblr.com www.facebook.com/DreadfulThoughts @dreadthoughtspod on Instagram dreadfulthoughtspodcast@gmail.com
It's that time again for another book club! Season 3 of Penny Dreadful is going to feature characters from "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson. So of course, we are here to read and dissect the book, starting with the first 3 chapters. Along the way we talk terrible sleepovers, critique London culture, and get distracted a lot by Brad's new puppy. Your hosts are Nika Howard (@Nika_howard), Brad Brockway (@bsquared_yo), and Steph Kingston (@StephOKingston). @Dreadthoughts on Twitter www.dreadful-thoughts-podcast.tumblr.com www.facebook.com/DreadfulThoughts @dreadthoughtspod on Instagram dreadfulthoughtspodcast@gmail.com
