Classroom 2.0 LIVE webinar, Participate Learning with special guest presenter, Brad Spirrison. March 12, 2016. We are very excited to be able to introduce you to Participate Learning (http://www.participate.com/), a fantastic, relatively new curation tool for educators in our webinar today. Brad Spirrison (https://twitter.com/spirrison) from Participate Learning will share the features of this tool and answer your questions. Join us to learn all about it! Many of you participate regularly in Twitter chats for educators and you will learn how this tool can make this experience simpler and much less intimidating for you. With ParticipateChat (http://participate.com/chats), a resource linking to twitter hashtags and live twitter chats, you can browse for live chats by date or browse an alphabetical list of hashtags to follow, with links to moderators, participants and feeds. It even automatically adds the hashtag to your tweet! It also allows users to create transcripts of chats and a collection of all the resources mentioned during the chat! ParticipateChat maintains a calendar of educational Twitter Chats. Search for your favorites or add your own. But there's more! The Participate Learning search engine offers access to thousands of educator-vetted K12 learning resources including apps, videos, and websites. You can upload your own online resource or website, upload files, photos or videos, or search their website for books, apps and materials reviewed by other educators. You can create and collaborate on collections, curated groups of educational resources around themes or topics or around the tools used for a particular discipline or a lesson to share with students, colleagues and parents. This database of free and paid educational resources (apps, videos, and websites) are reviewed by teachers and linked to standards which can be searched by keyword and filtered by content type and grade level. By registering with the site, you have the ability to create your own bookmarks and collections of resources. Search results will also show the resource collections of other educators. https://twitter.com/participatelrn
