Pete Correale is one of the best comedians today who has made numerous appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Conan O'Brien Show, and The Tonight Show. He also has two critically acclaimed one hour stand up specials: Comedy Central “Things We Do for Love” and on Showtime “Let Me Tell Y.” His audience connected with him more genuinely as he shares his life as a husband, father, and a person who finds joy and wisdom as he goes with his life. Thad has Pete as one of his awesome clients then a friend, and now a guest in his podcast. We all find doing stand-up comedy hard to do and stay relevant, and it will amaze you how Pete is consistent in being creative, confident, and resilient. In this episode, Pete will be sharing how he started as a comedian, got to do what he has to do and be a comic. You’ll be learning about practical tips on how to kick fear hard, manage it like a pro and start talking in front of your audience like you know what you are doing. And a whole lot more! I've heard of musicians switching their careers to something else pretty often but it's not too common to hear about someone who becomes a comedian. It takes a special talent and skill to be able to be funny on the spot in front of people sitting there waiting to laugh! On this episode Mary tells lots of funny stories about her Klezmer band gigs and what it was like to be on the Conan O'Brien show. Mary mistakenly thought that I spend a lot of time editing- which I don't. These are "real, raw interviews" which means what is said goes on the show! So that led to some hysterical moments. Mary has a new comedy album out now, available on iTunes and www.marymackcomedy.com called Pig Woman, and her next appearances will be in Grand Rapids, MI at the LaughFest on March 18th and 19th www.laughfestGR.org www.marymackcomedy.com https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/pig-woman/id1036119715
In this episode we will address some wisdom brought to us by Louis C.K. on the Conan O'Brien Show. This comedian is always so honest with where he is in his feelings and emotions. That level of vulnerability is lovely and it helps us see ourselves even better than ever. The last 10 minutes will be reserved for questions with callers. We will look at the teachings of the Masters who have come before us, that cleared the way so that we could be safe to bring light to the world. When we study great teachings we become more well rounded practitioners. We can offer that wisdom to our clients as it applies to them and help them reach even higher goals than they could imagine.
