Holy month-in-the-making-episode Batman! Hey guys, welcome back to ATA's very own DC Nation! This episode was recorded a few week's back, in fact it was the week after Week 52 was recorded. But, due to personal projects, ATA finale episodes, Longbow Hunters finale episode, living our everyday lives, and being sick, we've been working extra hard this week to get this episode out to you all, because it's a classic! Let me start off by saying that this episode starts out reviewing Smallville Season 11 Digital Issue #45 and Teen Titans Go! Episode 2 meaning they are a few weeks old, but still worth a listen especially for some good insight on Smallville's Valkyrie Arc. However, if you would so choose to do so, skip those sections and head right on over to our main event. Yes folks, you've got it. Finally on the DC Nation Podcast, a commentary on one of the greatest superhero films ever made, the 1966 film - BATMAN: THE MOVIE! That's right, Dan and Michael do a commentary on the Adam West/Burt Ward Batman film, where they discuss/rip-on the 60's Batman, Bruce Wayne and Catwoman, Penguin's acting skills, how great Frank Gorshin is as the Riddler, why Catwoman is Russian, and what is up with Cesar Romero's (the Joker's) mustache! All of this and much much more exists on this week's DC Nation Podcast, Robin. POW! By the way, with us being a few weeks behind on our Smallville and Teen Titans Go! Reviews plans are in the works for our next episode to catch us up on everything so keep an eye out for DC Nation Podcast Week 54 when Dan returns from Vacation the week of June 11th.

Howdy DC Nationites, I'm so fired up for this week's awesome DC Nation Podcast episode, we're gonna bust this post out as classic rock lyrics since... DC Nation is back How about that It's been too long and were glad it's back Yes, we've been let loose From the commentary noose That Cartoon Network left us hanging around We had Black Lightning in the sky Lanterns on a blue power high Amethyst's videogame came alive The Reach lies They're bad guys Young Justice is going to stop them from running wild 'Cause it's back DC Nation's back! It's back in black! And in case you haven't caught on already, I'm going to come out of my AC/DC Brian Johnson voice to explain that this episode is dedicated to the triumphant return of DC Nation to Cartoon Network with us reviewing the Green Lantern: The Animated Series episode "Steam Lantern" and the Young Justice Invasion episode "Before the Dawn" along with two brand-new DC Nation Superhero Shorts. Also as always we have our now weekly reviews of Bryan Q. Miller's Smallville Season 11 with us taking a look at Digital Issue #28 otherwise known as Effigy Chapter 1 starring Batman and Martian Manhunter. So with the anticipation for DC Nation's return feeling like it lasted for an eternity, I'm going to cut it with my usual jargon I put into these posts and let you get to the fantastic episode that's been seven podcasts in the making that was certainly worth the wait.
